My Product Key Has Faded Away

I bought a Fujitsu with Windows 7 in Japan in 2010 which came with a bunch of programs pre-installed like Office 2010. Therein lies my problem. I have never had the Microsoft Office CD and the Product code was on the back of my computer. However, it has
faded away so I can't read any of the numbers. How am I supposed to use Microsoft?

After you have retrieved your product key, go to the following link to download a backup copy for Office 2010:

  • Error: Product key has been revoked...after installing on my new MAC (employee download)

I am having issues installing Premier Pro CS6 for Mac.   I purchased this via the employee program with a link to download. When I insert the product code after running the install program, it says that the product key it has been revoked and to contact Adobe. I have used it in the past so I don’t know why it says that after I have already paid for it. I bought a new MAC so that’s why I want to install it on this computer.  Thanks. I look forward to hearing from you.

Isaac1425 you will only need to use the redemption code once.  Once you have redeemed the code the registered serial number will then be available under your account at http://www.adobe.com/.  You can find more details regarding serial numbers at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

  • My Product Key Has Been Leaked

I had to do a Windows refresh and now my product key is invalid. I contacted Microsoft and they said it has been leaked and I need to contact HP. Before I called them I contacted HP and they said I needed to contact Microsoft.  I am getting the runaround. I bought this laptop at a retail store and did not receive a disk. I found others with the same problem and it's being said that HP is using the same product key for multiple computers.  This is through no fault of my own and my warranty is up.  I need HP to give me a proper product key so that I will be able to get the Windows 10 free upgrade.I paid a lot of money for this laptop including the product key and it turns out it is not just mine. Who do I need to contact to get this taken care of?  Everytime I call HP I get someone in India and have a very hard time understanding them. This is unacceptable. I will NEVER buy another HP and telling everyone I know not to either.

I was hoping that you could provide the case number to me.Ideally, if you have windows 8 pre installed (by hp) not the store, then the activation should work.I would suggest you to provide me the product number of your PC so that I can confirm if your PC goes pre-installed with windows. If you PC goes with Free DOS or Linux then a key cannot be provided.

  • How to recover my product key some letters were scratched hp dv5t 1000

    Hi
My hp dv5t it runs window vista home perimiom 64 bit has crashed and I tried to recover my window but the product key has some scratched I could notread the last 3 letters. Please help me.

The only way you will be able to recover it with the delivered operating system is with a recovery disk set.
Since the operating system has crashed you can't recover the Windows Vista product  key with any utility I am aware of.
It sounds like it is time to purchase an operating system with activation key. It will not be easy to find  a copy of Windows Vista for sale.  Windows 7 is supported on your notebook. Drivers for Windows 7 are here. I recommmend that you use the 64-bit version.
I wish I had better news for you but I don't.
    Best regards,
    erico

  • Cannot install Sharepoint 32bit due to product key issue - may have been used on Trial Office 2013

    Hi,
I have a 32 bit version of Office 2010 Professional installed. I have attempted to install SharePoint 2013 but it fails saying the product key has been used before possibly in an Office 2013 trial version.
Any idea how I circumvent this? Is it possible to get an alternative product key - although the install process does not allow a product key to be entered.
    Thanks,
    Alan Johnson

What are you trying to install? It isn't 'SharePoint' as that doesn't have a 32 bit version. On it's own 'SharePoint' refers to SharePoint Server or Foundation, which are server products that you connect to from your computer but do not install locally.
It is also not common to install Office on a SharePoint server (but not unheard of either).
SharePoint Designer, which is very different from 'SharePoint' does come in 32 bit as does 'SharePoint Workspace'.

  • I need a new product key for Windows 7. I have a HPG71 Notebook VR445AW

I need to reload Windows7 and I do not have the disc.  The product key is faded and I cannot read it.  What do I do?

    Hi,
Unfortunately neither HP or Microsoft will have any record of your Product Key - but you can order a set of Recovery Discs from HP.
    Order HP Recovery Discs.
Using these discs to reinstall windows will not require you to enter a Product Key - activation will be automatic.
A guide on using Recovery Discs to reinstall Windows can be seen on the following link.

  • Windows 8 Activation after Reinstall - Product Key doesn't work

    Hello Folks!
The hard drive on my Thinkpad Edge E135 just gave out. I replaced it and reinstalled Windows 8 with the recovery dvds
Windows 8 keeps bugging you that you need to activate it and many features are available with an activated windos, so I really want to activate it. A program to read out the product key gave me a working key at first, but right after that it said that the key is invalid.
    "Error 0xC004C003
It was detected by the activation server that the product key has been blocked."
I'm really lost here and it would be very appreciated if somebody told me what I can do. Right? Lenovo. For those who do.

  • Dear board- microsoft product key

Hi guys, I recently restored my wifes laptop, cq61 laptop 117TU,
it has vista home basic, the product key has worn out specfically the last set of numbers.(stupid me should have got it before restoring). how can I go about getting this from HP? I called microsoft they told me to contact my manufacturer. Im happy to send an email with a photo of the label for proof aswell.
    TJ

Which type of restore did you perform?
If it was a factory image recovery, then there shouldn't have been a need tfor you to have to enter the liicense key manually.
Why not try the recovery again?
If you are still stuck with the same isssue then contact HP directly. You will need to give the service engineer the serial number of the notebook. There is no guarantee that HP will still be able to help you as Microsoft Vista and your notebook no longer have warranty after all of these years. Your best bet may be to find a version of Vista that someone has for sale including  the license COA sticker.

It's either my computer because it's old, or something is wrong with my cd installer. I don't know, but I just want to install my PSE 7.0, but it does not work even on the official website with my product key #.

  • I just bought a used XP Home Edition program that has been installed before. Will I be able to install this again on my computer or is it only a one time use software? I have the Product Key and CD.

I just bought a used XP Home Edition software program that has been installed before. I have the Product Key and installation disc. Will I be able to install it on my own computer? Or, is this software (purchased retail) a one time install? Please advise.

    Depends on many things.
If your system is Lion, XP can only be installed under VM.  BootCamp in Lion only accepts Windows 7.
As to "one use only", if you are referring to OEM ...
A reinstall can trigger the OS to "not register" because "a major component serial number or MAC (the network MAC chip) address" has changed, according to MS databases.
But you can call MS to get the key reactivated, usually/sometimes.  It is worth a try, at least, before spending money on another Windows 7 package.  But this discussion should end *now* at "maybe" as it treads close to matters that forum Terms-of-Use would prefer we not discuss.
