My program says that I need to reinstall the program.
My program Adobe Premiere elements has recently been saying that i need to uninstall and reinstall my product. If the problem persists then call adobe. I did and they told me to come here. I have reinstalled it like 10 times... Please help.

If you have purchased Premiere Elements 12 (latest version), why did Adobe Chat direct you to the user to user forum instead of taking remote control of your computer to troubleshoot the issue? Did they do that and could find no problem? That would be helpful to know in planning troubleshooting strategy.
I prefer not to use Premiere Pro CS6 and CC models to solve Premiere Elements problems.
Does the problem persist with and without the antivirus disabled? What antivirus program does your computer use?
Are you saying that you get the program reinstalled, all is working, but after a computer restart you are hit with this error when you go to open the program?

I am just opening it and it works when i reinstall it but when I restart my computer then it stops working and comes up with a message saying that I need to uninstall and reinstall.
1. Right click the Premiere Elements 12 desktop icon and select Run As Administrator. Make sure you are running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges.
2.. Rename the SLCache Folder according to the Premiere Elements how to in the following....

Just do the renaming of the SLCache Folder at this time, do not rename the SLStore Folder.
3. If that does not work, then delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists.

and in the 12.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working from Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.
Let us look at the above and then decide what next.

I updated the latest version of iOS software on my Macbook Pro and now when I try to open up iPhoto it says that I need to update the latest version. But when I go to update on iTunes, it says the latest version is unavailable to the U.S. I wouldn't mind leaving it be but I can't access any of my photos. What do I do?

I recently updated and restored my Iphone on a Mac. My music was erased, therefore, I am trying to sync all of the music from my computer into the iPhone, but it says that I need to use the original computer/itunes in order to sync, but it is the same computer and iTunes account. The error reads: The iPhone, "Name" is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and a sync with this iTunes library? If I click "Erase and Sync," will it delete my contacts, apps, etc?

I dunno, that doesn't make any sense to me.
I just shut down and rebooted into the SnowLeopard partition and took a peek at the preference panes. There are only 3 that run in 32 bit only. They are all 3rd party, and none of the prefpanes are non Intel. Like I said, I have never owned a PPC machine. Anyhow, SnowLeopard doesn't even have an iCloud prefpane, or a combined mail, contacts, and calenders prefpane, and the ML security and privacy prefpane is all new as well. The software update prefpane is Intel and 64 bit in both SnowLeopard and Lion.
As to the triple boot, unless I'm totally mistaken, what I have here is, in essence, 3 seperate descrete computers in one box. All using the same hardware. but one at a time. I wouldn't know how to get more than one running at the same time, without using a virtual machine, even if I wanted to. (Which I don't) I do sometimes transfer files from one to another using the shared folder, but other than that, they do not interact. How could ML system preferences be trying to launch prefpanes from a totally different machine? -

thanksYou are probably running OS 10.4 or 10.5 on a PPC Mac. No version of iTunes higher than 10.6.3 is available for these older Macs. I have the same problem, and while I can still use the PPC to sync my iPod, it can't be used to sync an iPhone 4 or higher. The only solution, as I discovered after upgrading to the iPhone 4, is to buy a newer Mac. I was able to get a 2006 MacBook running Lion for under $300, and that has been a lifesaver.

If you are at version 9.5.5 that was the end of the line for Acrobat 9.x. You are correct that Acrobat 9 is no longer supported. Adobe is only supporting Acrobat X and Acrobat XI at this time.

I was recommending the same thing over there as here with the same lack of results. So I'll repeat here my last post in that thread not knowing at the time I am writing this whether that suggestion will work:
I only have one idea left. After that you need to do some google searching on "uninstalling os x silverlight". Apparently this has caused problems for a number of folks.
Remove the following two installer receipts:
/private/var/db/receipts/com.microsoft.installSilverlightPlugin.bom
/private/var/db/receipts/com.microsoft.installSilverlightPlugin.plist
/private/var may be invisible on your system so use the Finder's Go To Folder and type (or copy/paste) /private/var/db/receipts/ and click the Go button. -
I bought a new airport extreme on ebay and it works but as soon as I hooked it up it says I need to update the firmware to 7.3.1 and gives me a link to go to but it won't give me an option for that update. I tried the other updates that it gives an option for but none of them work. Help!
OK, if your Extreme is an original "round" 802.11b/g model you need AirPort Utility 5.6. The problem with that version is that Mountain Lion will refuse to let you install it. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with using AirPort Utility 5.6 and your older Extreme should work just fine with your new MacBook.
This dilemma is easily solved. You simply need to extract the app from the installer package using a package extractor like Pacifist or unpkg. Pacifist is shareware, unpkg is free.

When the AirPort Utility .dmg file finishes downloading, open it to expand and reveal the AirPortUtility56.pkg package installer file.
Directions for Pacifist (I do not have screenshots for unpkg but the idea is similar):
Open Pacifist and from its File menu, navigate to the package and open it.
Click the "reveal triangles" until you see AirPort Utility 5.6.app:
Select it and then click Install from Pacifist's toolbar. It will then be installed in your Utilities folder, and you can quit Pacifist.
Mountain Lion will not allow you to delete its existing version of AirPort Utility. Just ignore it. It and the older version (which will bear the unique name "AirPort Utility 5.6") can peacefully coexist. Launch AirPort Utility 5.6 and firmware upgrade options for your older Extreme will be available.
If you happen to have an archived copy of the AU 5.6 app somewhere, such as a Time Machine backup or equivalent, you can simply restore it or drag the app to your Mountain Lion system's Utilities folder instead of resorting to the above procedure. It will run without complaint. It is only the package installer that is the problem.
If you have an older computer with a version of AirPort Utility earlier than 6.0, you can administer it that way as well. -
I am trying to re-able my disabled iPod. It is a 4th Generation iPod touch 8gb. It has a crack screen and the lock/sleep button and the volume buttons do not work. It says in red ribbon on the top of the screen, "iPod is disabled Connect to iTunes". When I connect it to iTunes it doesn't show up in the left sidebar. Instead a message pops up and says, "iTunes could not connect to the iPod 'Madyz iPod' because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter you passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes." What do I do? I would really appreciate help.(: thanks.
If you can't enter the passcode then you have to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod via iTunes. For ecovery mode see:

Note that this requires using the sleep/wake button. If you are not successful then there is nothing else that I know you can do.
