My project stops during playing

Good day!
I have a Project, want publish it, but when I desided to check it, I saw a mistake - It stops during playing slide - when the headline appears...And I have to press ">" button to play this slide at all.

Well, I'm not sure I saw where the actual VERSION of Captivate you are using was mentioned, but for me, it's version 7. And in that version, if you click a Button and look at the Properties panel in the Timing section, you should find a check box that you are able to clear. At that point, the object will no longer cause the slide to pause.
You may need to clear this for all three buttons.

DVD stops during play mode

I made a iDVD which includes a 25 min photo slideshow and a short video. I followed the burning process and burned it on a DVD-R. When the DVD was finished burning I put the DVD in the dvd player. It plays correctly until about 10 min in and the DVD shuts off. I tried burning multiple ones and it seems to stop everytime (not always to the same place).
I could use some major help!! ASAP!

This could be trouble with your DVD media. High quality disks are recommended (Vebatim is often recommended and I've used Sony DVD-R with regular success).
You can also reduce burning errors by breaking it into a two step process. First, create a disk image using the Save As Disk Image command. You'll be able to mount and play this virtual DVD on your Mac. If it plays correctly, then copy the virtual DVD to your high-quality disk using Roxio Toast or Apple's Disk Utility.

My ipod touch keeps stopping during playing music

My ipod touch palys a song for 10 sec then stops then when I play it again it stops again. What is wrong here?

MP3 songs stop during play

I've ripped Hinder's entire album from my CD in very good format. We've come across issues where, only certain songs, it will stop playing part way though. For the songs that don't finish playing, they stop in the exact same spot every time.
I'm not throwing any exception at all so I'm confused here because everything is in a try/catch block so anything thrown will display in the console, but I'm not getting anything.
Does anyone know what could cause this? I'm assuming it's specific properties of the audio file, but is it possible to create a listener that will automatically skip to the next song if the current one stops playing? I know how to go to the next song as I have a method for that, but I haven't found any ControllerListeners that would be suitable. EndOfMedia only works at the end of the file, not if it stops in the middle.

You might get access to the TargetDataLine (TDL) and monitor it. The links below are to a simple attempt* to 'hack into' the sound lines of the PC on which the AudioTrace app. is running.

The first link is to an early version of the code, the second is to the current launchable application.
If successful at intercepting the lines, it will show an oscilloscope style trace of the sound. As well, in the lower right corner, a 'volume bar'. I set it so when the volume drops below a certain low level, it paints yellow, then lower, red. You might use the same test of 'red for 0.5 sec. continuous' to determine the sound has stopped, and thereby start the next track (and perhaps mark that track as 'incompatible').
* I mentioned 'attempt' above with good cause. Many PCs are not set up to allow 'audio loopbacks', or they are not on by default, so on these machines, the app. produces a 'flat line with red volume bars' for every single TDL! I was experimenting with it recently using Clips though, and that seemed it should be more successful at getting actual data.
BTW - note that I usually do not read posts with no dukes assigned. To my eye, dukes indicate how important a resolution is, and I only have the time (usually) for the more imperative posts.

Why does a movie or TV show stop during play and then takes you to the main ATV icon screen?

This weekend while watching a movie it stopped and went directly to the main ATV screen? Also while watching TV shows I witnessed the same issue about halfway through each. Also, when returning to the movie or TV show it acts like the first time viewing and does not give you the option to resume playing.

Same issue, just cuts out to black and then goes back to the home screen. Happened about 4 times while watching one TV show. I'm using Software version 6.0 (6646.65)

My Flash Player stops during all types play. Can anyone Offer some help?

Adobe Flash Player stops during any type of play. YouTube, Live Feed, Videos etc,. All of these will stop after a few seconds. This has nothing to do with buffering it just stops.
I have tried updates to the program (Adobe) no help. I have run this in Chrome and Internet Explorer.

Delet any unwanted or useless files. I also suggest upgrading the RAM to 8GB or a 6GB it if you can't get 8GB. You shouldn't need 16GB of RAM either. If you want a really fast and responsive system, get an SSD as well. Go to www.crucialmemory.com and download their system scanner. All it does is check your system's make, model, year, and hardware configuration and it will bring you to available SSDs and RAM modules for your machine. The RAM is very easy to upgrade and the hard drive is a little more tricky. But there's plenty of videos on youtube to upgrade RAM and hard drive in MacBooks.

How can I stop music from skipping during play

I do not like iCloud. How can I convert back to the previous version? If not available, then how can I stop songs from skipping during play? (Only started happening when iCloud installed).

Zen Micro Freezes during play and sometimes won't turn on at

I have been having some issues with my micro and wondered if anyone could help. I didn't drop it or do anything I can recall to cause these issues, it just seemed to start out of the blue. 2 things are happening. Sometimes it will freeze during play and "buzz" (it's really just transmitting a countinuous sound of a millisecond of what it was playing like if the guy was saying apple, and it freezes when he starts to say it it will sound like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" but in a completely illegible buzz way). Second, it will sometimes not turn on at all, no creative logo, no lights, no nothing. Once I take out the battery and replace it, it will always then start no problem. The battery does not seem to be loose at all as the above mentioned buzzin will not stop until I remove the battery, and as I have repeatedly removed the back of the micro during these buzz session?the battery remains firmly seated and the buzzing continues until I remove it. So far I have updated the firmware to 2.2.02 (which I believe reformatted) which didn't stop it from freezing up during play, and just now did a disk clean up (which I can't imagine will have any change?if a complete format didn't). I haven't had the start up problem since the firmware update, but I haven't turned it on and off that many times yet. Any ideas? Sorry to be so verbose but I wanted to explain as best as I could what's wrong, and what I've done so far.

Remove SIM and miniSD card first. Try to boot.
The try hooking it up to the PC again. And see if you might be able to redo the update process.
You can also try a hard reset. As described in a different tread. (Or read below).
Othervise, I afraid you will have to take it to a Service Center.

ITunes stops during playback and won't start until I restart the computer

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I just reformated my computer and placed all the updates and programs back onto my computer. I had iTunes on my computer before and I reinstalled it then upgraded it to version 7.3.2.6. Now I've been reintroducing music back into the library on a folder by folder method (drag and drop). Anyway, during review of the songs I will get a random issue where the iTunes just stops during playback. I have shut down the program and restarted it. I've also shut down the following programs at different times to see if it would help:
iPodService, ITunes.exe (the program), iTunesHelper, and even taskmgr.exe. Nothing seems to help. When I restart the program I click on play (any song or playlist) and nothing happens. The only thing that I have found to help is rebooting my computer. Does anyone have any ideas?
I've check the event logs and nothing is showing in there and other programs are working without an issues.
Please help!

Sound stops during games

Randomly my sounds stops during most of my games. Clash of clans my sound will fade in and out like its trying to work properly, but other apps are just muted completely. If im listening to music while playing a game, it seems to happen more often. ALL sound is stopped, i have to exit my app to turn the music back on. This happened after i synced some music. It was TERRIBLE, but i managed to sync it 3 or 4 more times to try and correct the problem, it helped but didnt fix it. One day my sound wouldnt even adjust. Something is seriously wrong with this OS. This has been a problem since iOS7. And i was syncing my wifes new Justin Timberlake, apparently the iPod hates him as much as i do.

Sound stops during automation recording.

Alright here's a video example of what I'm talking about.
When I'm doing a "Touch" Automation on one midi track, while recording a touch track the midi sound stops as soon as I move the slider.
The automation still records, it's just that the sound stops during automation.
In the video notice that as soon as i move the Volume Automation slider the midi playing
stops. Why? I need to be able to monitor this while I'm adjusting the automation.
Appreciate anyone's suggestions.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like there is an issue playing songs in iTunes. Does the playback issue only occur with specific tracks and were they purchased from the iTunes Store? Take a look at the article linked below and try the suggestions which will resolve most iTunes and QuickTime Player playback issues.

I Tunes freezing and running very slowly. Songs stopping during playback.

I just downloaded the latest I tunes update, now it's running even slower than it was yesterday and this message keeps popping up "The I Tunes library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred. (-50)" It has been getting worse and worse, it keeps stopping during the playing of songs and now is having a very hard time downloading purchased music from the I Tunes Store. I am very afraid I am heading for a BIG crash. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I Tunes is freezing and it takes several minutes to come back on a play 15 seconds worth of a song and then it quits again. This is very frustrating as I have spent hundreds of hours in I tunes and the music is very important to me, as I am sure it is to everyone!

I'm a little confused by your response...what exactly do you mean when you state that the files in question won't "leave the music folder area"?
In the meantime you might run Disk Utility (in "Utilities" in the "Applications" folder) and repair permissions.
Also "get info" on the respective files and examine whether the "locked" checkbox is checked or not( make sure it isn't). While you're there, also check "ownership and permissions" to ensure that "read and write" are selected.

"Part of the project was not played" error

I just got a brand new iMac--double the number or processors and twice the RAM as the old one--and I keep getting this error in Garageband:
Part of the project was not played
This project has too many real instrument tracks to be played in real-time.

This issue only rarely cropped up on my old machine, and it was usually because the computer was chugging away on too many projects at once. I am editing a podcast which has two (rather long) audio tracks.
I have quite all other applications.
I have fixed permissions.
I have tried from another user account.
I have deleted prefs files.
I have reinstalled Garageband.
Nothing is helping. This is very frustrating.
Any guidance you could give me would be EXTREMELY appreciated!

In my case, the culprit was backups and disk-related software eating large amounts of CPU.
I recently ran into this problem with a very small project. Even after locking all tracks, I could not record all the way through the project without getting "project not played".
One pattern I noticed was that I could never get through the whole project when Time Machine was backing up. So I turned off TM and tried again.
Even then, I couldn't get all the way through. Running Activity Monitor, I could see that WD's disk software (came with the My Book drive I use for backup), would periodically consume a big chunk of CPU, even though I wasn't using the WD disk... even if I dismounted the drive. So I uninstalled the WD software.
With this change, Activity Monitor shows ~0% CPU. TM can still give problems, so I shut it down when I record.
Now GB runs fine, even with multiple tracks unlocked.
Moral: use Activity Monitor to make sure something isn't chewing up too much CPU. It may be an intermittent load, which makes it harder to see. But a big burst in non-GB CPU activity can stop GB, even if the burst is brief.
