My published calendar is blank when I click the link from the email. What am I missing?

I have published my calendar and sent an email with the info, but when I click on the link the calendar is blank.
Any ideas so that my husband can see my calendar at his work computer?

When you are having problems with a site - consider weather between you and it and amount of traffic (time of day).
Bad weather can cause problems with a connection as it travels on the information highway - hazard a guess all traffic that went through Buffalo is being routed elsewhere.
Bad weather can slow down handshake etc to the point of requiring too many resends - so Ibook is timing you out.

I am receiving emails, but nothing opens when I click the email icon

When I click the email icon, a blank email screen pops up for about 10 seconds, then shuts down and goes back to the main screen. I have restarted the iphone, closed the applications and even checked my emails online. Nothing seems to be working. Any Ideas?

Do a reset, hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for your phone to boot back up. then check the emails.

I get a general failure when I click on links in my email. "General Failure" is followed by a link and I have to click ok to get rid of it. This happens every time I click on a link in my email. I've turned my computer on and off several times, but it persists. It's very annoying and I'm considering returning to Internet Explorer because of it.

This is a known bug, and has been for years. It occurs when Firefox is your default browser and some glitch (or program) changes that default. Thankfully, there's a fairly easy fix, though it does involve monkeying around in the Registry.
(Note: These instructions apply to Windows Vista and 7 only.)
1. Click Start, type regedit, and then press Enter.
2. Navigate to the following entry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FirefoxURL\shell\open\ddeexec
3. In the center pane, double-click the Default entry, then remove whatever value is there (it'll probably be a weird string of numbers and commas).
4. Click OK, then exit Regedit.
5. If Outlook and/or Firefox are open, close them, then restart them.

I am using windows 7 pro this issue has drove me crazy for some time, now finally it's fixed by doing the exact same steps as above, hope this works for everybody that is having this problem. I just had to share this with my fellow firefox users. :)

When I click a link from google, most of the time it takes me to an unknown/unwanted website. I have to go back to google and try it again. How do I make this stop?

When I type in the google box provided at the top of my browser, it pulls up the results. Once I click one of those results, it takes me to random website. I have to hit the back button, then re-click the website I wanted to visit. At the second try it usually works. This happens every few google searches, one in three possibly.

Sounds like search redirect malware or a virus, hope it is the former.

When I click on links in my emails, I want firefox to open them, but nothing happens, how do i get it to do this.

Google chrome installed itself on my computer by mistake, and started opening up when I clicked links in my emails. So I uninstalled G.Chrome. But now when I click on the links in emails, NOTHING happens. How can I get Firefox to again open up those links when I click on them.

I have been having the same problem. Links work in Outlook for both Chrome and IE but not Firefox. I have tried a number of things including restarting my computer, editing the registry etc. Oddly, when I edited the registry, the links did work for a while but then I proceeded to get the same error as before.

When I click a link in an email the file manager displays before loading the website. Sometimes the website doesn't open.

I know other people are having this problem because I saw some posts about it from a Google search. It doesn't happen on every link. Generally it happens when a friend sends a link in an email.

How to execute a APEX process on click of link from a email message

I have a download procedure which will ask user wheather to save or open a file. This procedure uses standard "owa_util.mime_header","htp.p('Content-length" commands do do this. The procedure works fine. I'm sending a mail to user where this procedure is link to save or open a file. But for security reasons, I don't want to embed this procedure in the email, instead I want to redirect to APEX page. In the APEX page, I have put the procedure code in "onSubmit" process and it workd fine on clink of button. But I want to execute this process "Onload", so that user doesn't have click a button, all the user does click the link in email which will go to APEX page and ask wheather to save or open a file. any ideas are appreciated.

Perhaps you could use an on-demand application process instead - you can specify these in the URL.
The URL syntax (for your link) would be like...

Cannot Click on Links from Received Email

My mother-in-law sent me a few forwards with links (ironically, about how poor Leopard is with security and a few other Leopard issues). I installed, unfortunately, Leopard and since then, have not been able to click on links that are in email I received. It worked before with the Tiger version of Mail. Help anyone??

I recently installed Leopard and then upgraded to 10.5.1 - message reads Safari cannot be used on this system. The Safari is still version 2.0.4 despite this upgrade.
Consequently I am having to use Firefox.
As the default for opening hyperlinks in Mail is Safari - anyone have a solution?

Thats probably a security setting in your email account. I know my us.army.mil account on my iPod Touch does the same.

You might try contacting iTunes store support. Even though this is an ID that you want to use for iCloud, it's still an Apple ID. iTuens store support deals with Apple ID issues all the time and they may be able to help you. Just explain that you are trying to verify your primary email address for your Apple ID but are not receiving the verification email from Apple, despite multiple attempts to resend it. You might also check with your email provider to be sure they aren't blocking email from [email protected] as spam at their end.

Any link...evite won't open. Links from my kids' school won't open. This has never happened before.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Why do I see about:blank in the address bar when clicking a link within an email item in my yahoo mail account?

I have Os X and Firefox 4. When I click a link in an email in my yahoo mail account, the address bar first shows about:blank and then goes on to obtain the address of the link. Is this a virus, or hacker, or what? Thanks for your help.

You only see the URL after Firefox has made a connection. 
During the initial state you see about:blank in the location bar.
