"Purchases failed" "Cannot connect to Itunestore" I should say I'm using my windows 8 pc to run this itunes store and I can get into Itune store and I can buy music but it just buying add+ for that game I've bought it won't let me buy it so this must be some bug issueHumm something did happen win my internet went off I had to reset my internet modem a few times and I've hooked up the ethernet cable to the wrong spot >_> it was hot and dark in that room sorry anyhow win I rechecked the game app I went in to try it again and it let me buy a few more add+ then I saw my pc wasn't hooked up so I reconnected the ethernet cable to the right area win my modem kicked in my phone went back to can't connect to iTunes store uhh is my modem blocking my phone? that can't be right...my phone is from AT&T and my Modem is from Qwest maybe but yes I did send Apple support a ticked and they have not responded to me yet overall I'm still having the same issue

I attempted to purchase gems as an in app purchase in Clash of Clans. After entering my password I got a pop up saying the purchase could not be completed & telling me to go to the support page. My settings allow in app purchases. Why am I unable to make in app purchases?

On the App Store I try to purchase an app with an apple card and it says purchase could not be completed?

Sounds like you might have an Apple Store Gift Card instead of an iTunes Gift Card.
You can use your Apple Store Gift Card at the Apple Online Store or Apple Retail Store. iTunes Gift Card or iTunes gift certificates are for for purchases on the iTunes Store, iBooks, App Store, and Mac App Store.

Apple needs to do something at a higher level to solve this problem.
I get the 'purchase could not be completed' error message when attempting to purchase apps on my iPad and my Mac.
Yes, I have tried logging out and back in, and I have ensured that the Apple ID is the same.
Apple refers people to Customer Support, but all they manage to do is do an account reset, which lifts the hold for 5-7 days, only to have it show up again.
FIVE times in four weeks I have had to contact Customer Support. The last time I called, I was told "there was a hold on your account, the supervisor doesn't know why, but it's lifted now." Yet again my purchases are blocked.
Would someone at Apple please pass this issue up to the right people? There are lots of customers experiencing this issue, and it doesn't seem like Customer Support can offer anything in the way of a permanent fix.We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. Solution
1) Delete the file Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
2) Restart OSX
3) Try logging into Mac App Store again.
