My purchase is gone!

I bought "The Looks" by MSTRKRFT, and when 3 of the tracks were in their "Processing file" phase of downloading, iTunes locked up. I Ctrl, Alt, Delete'd it, then restarted iTunes. Then I "Searched for available downloads" and sure enough, it downloaded.... the 4 tracks that hadn't been in the "Processing file" phase yet! Yet the other three are nowhere to be found! Yes, I restarted iTunes again, still, nothing.

Go to purchase history and see if they show up as purchased.
If they do, then click on "report a problem" and report the problem.

Why is my purchased music gone from iTunes? When I click on purchased, it's not there.
If I can't get it back I will NOT buy any more music from iTunes ever again.

Did the music disappear after updating? It might still be on your computer then.

Apple TV 2nd gen - all purchased movies gone, cannot reload them

I have purchased a few moveis and several TV shows. All of them appear in my iTunes library. I have my Apple TV set up to sync only those movies and TV shows I select, so generally after a week, it disappears from the Apple TV. I typically can go into the Apple TV prefs on my iMac and click on that movie, and then it will sync again.
however, recently this happened, and I went to select the movie, and it would not upload back to the Apple TV (where it was originally purchased). In additon, all ofther purchases are gone, and I cannot get them to sync with the Apple TV.
I have tried power cycle the apple TV, the router, and unplugging all cables too.
Reently I did deauthorize something (don't remeber what). I (re)authorized the desktop (imac) but that hasn't solved the problem. Is there a separate authorization for the Apple TV? I can't find anything in the setings menu....

I assume you have the Apple TV 1.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

Old music purchases have gone from my account?

I recently lost my entire music library from my media system (which I use for iTunes as well as other thing), So I reinstalled the enitre system, installed iTunes, authorised my computer, logged in, everything worked perfectly. I then go to download my music purchases. Only recent purchses apear.
I then checked using noth my iPad and my iPhone, the same. Only a few recent purchases apear?
Looking at apps, all of the old purches are there, it just seems to be most of my music collect that I can no longer download.
Having spent rather a lot of money on iTunes amassing a considerable collection I am deeply concerned as to where the huge amount of old purchases have gone?

Why has my purchased music gone missing

Hi i recently synced my iphone 4 and realised that most of my music has gone missing. After usiing itunes the same day I was trying to play tracks in my library and got a message saying orignal file could not be found. As I looked through the list of tracks I could not play I realised it was all the music I had purchased from itunes that was unable to be played. I do use a shared computer so I cannot say if any changes were made but have been sharing the computer for 2 years now and nothing like this has happened before.

Delete the songs and redownload them:

About 4 years ago I bought The soundtrack to The Motorcycle Diaries. I go to my library and notice that I only have 7 of the songs. I figure I'll just go on and download them (something that's really great that I noticed possible on my iPad). Then in searching how to do this I discover that it's no longer on my list of purchases in iTunes.
I "showed in finder" one of the 7 tracks that were still in my library and lo and behold there is the rest of the album on my hard drive.
I know you may jump to conclusions and say that I must've downloaded it, but rest assured I did not. I remember this was one of the first purchases I ever made on iTunes because the soundtrack is SUPERB and I wanted to show whatever support I could to Mr. Santaolalla.
Is there precedent for this happening? I've been meaning to buy the physical (I know 4 years @_@). There was another local band called "Band Marino" that might have been the actual first purchase I made on iTunes and he's gone too. They were kind of annoying TBH so I don't mourne it's loss from my purchase history.
What can I do?

A purchase has gone through my account when I did not authorise it.

A purchase of 4 games has gone through my account. I did not buy these 4 games - I don't want them. How do I delete these items and get my money back.

Would love to do the things you suggest BUT the itunes credit were purchased using cash to buy an itune card and can't find the right number to ring itunes support - I have tried to do it on line but they are asking me questions about my account which I would not have a clue how to answer - I have changed my password.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, I emailed apple about it and they replyed saying they put all of my bought songs in a "Download queue". Any songs I bought that were later modified at the iTunes Store they could not do but in my case none had been modified. once they had set up a download queue all I had to do is hit Advance at the top of iTunes and select "Check For Purchases". I would recommend doing that first to see if that works, if not email apple and Im sure they will set up a download queue for you. Goto this link http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/lostmusic/ at the bottom of the page is where you can fill out some basic info and email them about your problem. This is where I went to email and then redownload all my bought songs. once you have done that make sure you back up all the songs you have bought to a CD, DVD or External Hard drive.

Chargebacks dont' disable your account permanently... you can always contact iTS and after verification it will be re-enabled.
I guess, if you don't get back to iTS then yes, it could sit permanently in that state..
