My purchased music on my iphone will not transfer to my itunes library. I have tried 'transfer purchases' but it hasnt worked. Please help!
Please help me. I recently got a new laptop fro Christmas and i have begun to sync all my music and apps etc onto my new laptop. However, music that i have previously purchased on my iphone will not sync to my current laptop. I have tried 'transfer purchases' but only some have transfered, i still have over 200 songs to import and they won't transfer from my iphone to my laptop. Please help, it is very irritating. Thanks.
Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.

Double check the version of iTunes on your computer. You must have iTunes 11.1 or later.

My itunes is making me crazy. I have updated to IOS 6 on my phone from my friends computer. Then I had to also restore it. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

I had to get a new ipod because my old one's home button got stuck so they replaced it and now when I try to connect it to my computer it will charge and show up in my computer but not on itunes. I have tried 3 official apple ones and 2 different plugs. Ive tried plugging it into my laptop but will not find the phone. it has had problems since i updated my ios. Battery has been replaced. Any suggestions would be fantastic
test if it charges with an ac charger
test if it's detected by another computer
if it's no to both then likely the connector is broken
if it's yes to both thne it's likely your computers itunes install which is the problem -

When I try to sync my iphone to my itunes it starts going through the steps and then just stops. A little ! shows up beside my iphone under the devices tab in my itunes, when I click on this it the says that 'Itunes cannot sync apps to the Iphone because the apps cannot be determined'
If all you want right now is your music, you can turn off the option to sync apps, that should help.
With your iPhone plugged in, open iTunes, and go to the page with details about your phone (on the left side of iTunes, it should be under the Devices header). When you are there, go to the top, click on the "Apps" tab (next to "Info"), then uncheck the box that says sync apps. -

OK, my iphone will not sync with my itunes. My phone is updated to iOS 7.0.4 and my itunes is updated to the 11.1.3 or whatever it is. I had over 1000 songs on my phone. When I hooked it up to sync some more music it deleted over 400 songs that I did not delete. They just disappeared when I hooked it up. How can I get my music back and have it sync to my laptop?
I just played all of my music couple hours ago and now its only down to 500 songs!!!

I have reset my Apple ID & Password but I still cannot access the music I purchased using another computer, ID & PW. It keeps saying that my computer is not authorize to play the songs. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Help!
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

Yes I have turned imessage off a number of times and that does not seem to he doing the trick, and it is not delivering them then I have to press on the photo and either chose try again or send as text message, I have had the setting on to not allow sending pictures as texts (so they can only send as imessage) since I got my phone in January and it has always worked until now, I have turned that off to allow me to send them as picture messages now but it's still not working over iMessage, I have also tried it using 3G and not wifi
