My Q5 is going off the rails

I need some guidance on my phone, though I think I just have to replace it.
My phone cannot connect to wifi, it cannot receive texts or emails (unless I reboot it and it doesn't always work)
I cannot add contacts or calendar items.
It's like it's frozen and stuck.
Each day something new is added.
Yesterday I had 3 voice messages though no alerts of a missed call.
Today, my call history is frozen from 2 days ago...no new calls are getting logged.
Any idea what's going on?

Okay. Who knows. I really doubt you need to replace it, but who know just how it got in that shape.
Here is my advice. Do a backup and then do either a security wipe, or else do a reset to factory using BlackBerry Link. See http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33591 and http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/49304/lym1340722912618.jsp
Test the device before you restore the backup and install apps. If there are problems, report back. If all is well, restore the backup. Test again. If there are problems, it would seem there is corrupt data or settings causing issues, and you need to wipe again and try selective restore of only some databases. See below. If all is well after the restore, install one app at a time, starting with apps you absolutely need. Test each app before installing the next. And keep an eye on your free memory.

MacBook fan going off the rails

I've seen some threads on here about MacBook fans failing to spin fast enough, and oddly I have the exact opposite problem. My fan is very normal during typical computer usage, but acts up very loudly and spins quite fast at two times: when I watch videos online, and when I play Diablo 2.
Now I'm guessing the videos make sense, but I play a lot of games on this computer that are more graphically intensive and otherwise demanding than Diablo and the fans aren't half as busy. When I start the game up, a dialog box opens for settings and such before it goes fullscreen and all that stuff starts. Today I left it at this simple little dialog box and watched my fan speed: It jumped from around 1800 to around 6200 rpm in about the span of 45 seconds. I had no other applications open nor was I so much as moving the cursor on the computer. The temp went from 120ºish to 160º F.
It worries me that the fans are working this hard for what seems like no reason. What's more, I usually play the game when I'm plugged in, but a couple of times I've tried on battery power and as soon as the fans get in full swing, the computer just shuts off. This has happened while watching videos online too.
Naturally I'm worried. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Loud fan behavior while watching online videos is normal due to the stress placed on the processor by Adobe Flash.
Regarding Diablo, you are right that it is not a graphically intensive game. However due to the age of the game, I believe it runs in Rosetta, a software translation layer that allows you to run the game on Intel processors. So there is a lot of background software translation going on, and the GPU is used very little or none at all.

1. Triple-click the line below to select it:

2. Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select

The text goes off the screen and I can't move the screen to see what's not showing.

The text does not fit on my screen. It goes off the side and there's no bar at the bottom to move it over. I have been using Mozilla Firefox for years but last week I downloaded the new toolbar and ever since then, I've had problems like this. I tried to fix it through "zoom" but that did not work. It only made the print smaller but it still went off the screen. Anything to the far right I could not see. To get it back to normal, I had to uninstall Firefox completely off my computer last week. Everything was fine then, by using Internet Explorer. I tried again today and downloaded Firefox but the same thing happened. Therefore, I'm going to uninstall Firefox...again and use Internet Explorer. Any suggestions for this problem? Once again, the "Zoom" solution DOES NOT WORK. Help!

Score goes off the chart

I have a song I imported from Garage Band. Basically I just want to print out one part for someone to read. When I go to score, the notated music goes "off the chart" way to the right. I have to scroll over to the right. The page setup and print view do the same thing. I want to see the score printed onto one page for a nice printable page view. What needs to be set up? I don't get what is causing this problem. Even setting the little green lines in score don't help. The notes still go past the green lines and onto the right forever. I would appreciate any help.

I have a vague recollection of seeing this problem in the past. Try going to File -> Page Setup and make sure the page size and scale settings are something reasonable.

My cursor keeps going off the page on the left when typing. How do i indent to permanently see the whole writing?

When typing i hit the enter button and the cursor goes off the page on the left and it takes two spaces or letters before wording reappears; of course the first two letters of each word is missing. Only way to read correctly is to put two spaces before each line

Are you zooming the page?
You may have zoomed the page(s) by accident.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Did you make changes to the default font settings?
If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Edit > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Edit > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Images keep going off the screen

Hi,
I have created a simple card game and added motion tween to it, the cards move around in a sqaure but they go off the screen and come back on because when i run the swf file, the window is to small, if i make the window bigger it still does not keep it on the screen. so it will go down off scren then back up on screen.
I wanted to knrow if i could set it to automticlly set the window so that it does not go off screen.

Sorry i think i made it more complicated than it is, let me put this way:
I got an image and everytime i run the image on the flash player the entire image does not show cause it goes off screen, how do i optimize the screen to show the entire image?

Very recently my e-mail both mine outgoing and my incoming mail have gone off the screen and I cannot read.

Didn't you change the display?
You can drag the mail window in a way you can reach
the bottom right. Them you can recise.
You can also click on the green (top left).
The green at the top left was what cured my problem. So very basic and yet I never had paid any attention to it. Thanks so much. I do know about shrinking the window size, but the other problems was pushing me over the edge.

I can't get to the tool adjustments or the bins because they are off the bottom of my iMac 21.5" screen. Can't reach the screen corner to adjust window size. Any remedy?

Drag the top left of your PSE Window down and to the left to shrink the size of the window, then reposition the window so now you can see the bottom right corner.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    1.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    2.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    3.    Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    4.    Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
    5.    Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

When I try to edit an event in my Icloud calander it keeps going off the screen and I can't edit it

Content is going off the page to the right.

My content is going to far to the right and it looks weird, the header/footer background stops and there is about an inch of the blue background until the right border dotted-line shows up. Any ideas?
