My questions aren't getting posted

i wanted to post a question about people experience with macbook pro reitna but after a few minutes they weren't there. any ideas?

i am pretty sure people remember those kind of experiences well.
my needs?
don't get me wrong. i wouldn't care if i could go to neighboring apple store buy it there and replace if needed. but the country i currently live in isn't supported by apple. i have to buy it on a trip abroad so now warranty.
as for my needs? i need notebooks that has least problems without support and is up to modern standards. i don't expect any 1 person to have all good brand recent notebooks so i gather info from different brand forums and try to judge by that. and i got the least replies on this forum .
Every manufactured product of any kind by any company has the potential for defects - repair or replace is what warranties are for - all warranties from reputable companies are fair in that they cover their responsibility for a reasonable amount of time
On rare occasions, there have been manufacturing "flaws" that have resulted in product recalls - that said, the same thing even MORE rarely happens twice
Any problems are almost always unique to the person, device and circumstances - gathering anecdotes is a poor investigative practice
see # 6
This is where you going to take your biggest risk. As a general rule, legal agreements (warranties, financial agreements, etc.) are governed by the laws of the country where they are executed - http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/ - European Union is an exception, of sorts.
All modern notebooks are good. Some excellent. I have purchased many computers & software products over the years - it is a tedious process, indeed. The checklist I developed
What is my budget
What tasks must I be able to do efficiently - WORK
What tasks do I WANT to do - Play
What device & configuration is required to do #1 & 2
How long do I need the device to "live" before I am ready to do this all again
OR, you could just roll the dice and get what strikes your fancy. As a 3 decade+ veteran computer user, I would not hesitate to get the MBPro that fit my budget with as much RAM and Storage as it would hold.

  • Obtaining custom HTTP GET / POST parameters of variable length in Application Process

Hi, I'm trying to connect a javascript UI control within my page to an APEX Application Process.
The control calls the application process via AJAX and appends a variable number of GET / POST parameters to its URL.
What is the best way to obtain these parameters from within the PLSQL procedure of the process? Or is there a better way to connect my javascript AJAX control to the Database behind my APEX app?
    Thanks,
    Steffi

    Steffi,
I'm using APEX 4.1 and I've not used Treegrid before. It does look pretty interesting.
Firstly, I'm not sure if you are aware but GET requests aren't as secure as POST requests. GET simply appends a key/value pair to the server as part of the url which can be easily sniffed. POST request on the other hand sends the data as key/value pairs to the server in the header which makes it harder to intercept.  This is why APEX outputs forms with POST methods.
Secondly, back to your original question.I'm not sure this is possible with an Application Process. In the passed I've used POST methods to pass values to my Application Process. I have some code using native jQuery if you would like to see how its done. Alternatively, if you convert your application process to a standard pl/sql procedure (i.e SQL Workshop>Object Browser>Procedures) you can call this procedure and pass in values as you would with any PHP page.
    Simple example (untested)
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE  "foo" ( my_name varchar(20)
         , count NUMBER)
    IS
         p_name varchar(20) := my_name;
         p_count NUMBER     := count;
    BEGIN
    --Do what you want
    --output something
       htp.p(p_count || '.: '|| p_name);
    END;
The url on the page (or ajax call) would be something like "/pls/apex/{MY SCHEMA}.foo?my_name=Alistair&count=1"
Of course for text you will need to escape single colons and special characters etc.
I would really like to help you further so if you could create a working demo using a free workspace on http://www.apex.oracle.com and provide me with demo username/password. I can try and have a better look for you.
In all honesty, I'm sure you would be looking to create this as a plugin so that you can easily reuse it in various parts of your application and can easily update it or maintain it. I can help you with that as well if you want.

You cannot merge Apple ID accounts, that has never been supported.
You can contact the Apple ID Security folks per the listing in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 and they can help reset security questions and get the account working.

Web Services Description Language (WSDL) 1.1 Specification
WSDL is an XML-based language that describes Web services. WSDL definesWeb services
as a set of endpoints operating on messages; these message containeither
    message-style
or RPC-style information. The operations and messages are describedabstractly
in WSDL, and then bound to a concrete network protocol and messageformat
    to define
an endpoint. Related concrete endpoints are combined into abstractendpoints (services).
WSDL is extensible to allow the description of endpoints and theirassociated

    to communicate,
however, the only bindings described in the specification describehow to

Note: WebLogic Server supports only SOAP 1.1 bindings.
The WSDL 1.1 Specification is available at http://www.w3.org/TR/wsdl.

This isn't a straight FORM Post as in the http binding support in WSDL. It posts
    a soap message.
It's apparent that Workshop supports form-post and form-get.
But I dont see how it is done with straight WebLogic webservices. Does WebLogic
server read the web-services.xml or the WSDL file? I dont see a way to put in
http-post binding in the former and in the latter it seems to be ignored.
    Can someone clarify.
    Thanks.

  • CREMDM splitted by PI, ADRMAS gets posted, CREMAS in inbound queue

    Hi all,
I am on SAP MDM 7.1 SP03, SAP PI and SAP ECC6.
I have gone thorugh all the threads and Guides related to MDM but couldn't find a valid solution for my problem described below. However, I did find some tricks and tweaking which I dont want to use as they are not recommended by SAP.
We syndicated NEW Vendor records being created in MDM using CREMDM with standard Syndication Map. We have Vendors number generated in MDM and the number range being used exists in ECC and is marked as external. Moreover, the number range uses all of 10 digits, so there is no question of Conversion Routines with it. We deployed PI for splitting CREMDM to ADRMAS and CREMAS. We have serialized ADRMAS to go before CREMAS. We have assured that fields common between these two, have "no data" character i.e. "/" in CREMAS with correct data in ADRMAS. And ADDR_GROUP is mapped as "BP".
Now the problem is, ADRMAS gets posted but CREMAS remains in the inbound queue. The queue running but still CREMAS remains there with CODE as "75". This results in non-creation od Vendor master record as CREMAS is not posted.
Can anybody help with this. I really appreciate the support.

    Hi R,
The ALE inbound function modules treat each IDoc segment as a current set of data. Missing fields (or fields that have no data) are interpreted as a value deletion. To keep the existing value for a single field, you have to add a no-data sign as field value for NAME_1. This no-data sign is a single slash (/).
Please execute the inbound function module manually in WE19 to test this. If an exception is seen at NAME_1 ,pass a value or '/' and check for successful posting of Idoc.
If this works, modify inputs to CREMAS accordingly.
In addition a good SAP Note 1052964 - MDM: Distribution of Business Partners, Customers, Vendors for your reference.

  • How to create a proxy that accept requestes get/post in the same time?

    Hi everybody,
I have two questions with Service Bus 11gR1.
I have to create a proxy in https that accept request get/post in the same time, also this proxy should be able to recognize the common name of the certificate.
    Is it possibile?
    Thanks a lot.
    Ettore

The approach I mentioned is part of correctly configuring client cert authentication. For client cert authentication to succeed weblogic expects the user derived from the certificate by the user name mapper class to exist ( just exist , it wont check the password) in its security realm. The problem you have mentioned is common for any type of 'authentication' and not just specific to this approach.
The user name mapper class can be configured to accept any attribute in the certificate DN as the mapped user. Since the thread starter is interested in CN, then he has to set CN as the mapping attribute.

Until recently I had no reason to believe that everything was syncing between my iPhone (OS 7) and PC via iCloud. I just noticed that contacts entered on my iPhone aren't getting to my PC and contacts entered on my PC aren't making it to the iPhone. Everything else (calander and notes) hasn't been effected. I haven't changed anything since it was operating well and I can't remember what the settings were just in case. What can I do to restore smooth operations between all my devices other than scrap the PC?
    Thanks for the assistance.

Something easy to check and fix... it maybe that you are actually using/entering your contacts in to the wrong Outlook contact folder. If your are using an Outlook folder called "Contacts from Outlook"  listed below the  group heading of "My Contacts" then that is the wrong folder. That folder is a copy of one left from a previous iCloud install.
You should be using one labeled as "Contacts - iCloud" under the group heading  "iCloud" .
If this is not your problem, then I suggest that you log into iCloud.com on your PC and see if the server is missing contacts from your iPhone or your PC or both.  Post the answer from that result for additional troubleshooting.

  • EDI vendor invoices do not get posted before GRN is posted

    Hello All,
The requirement is our vendor sends EDI invoices and they get parked in SAP as IDOCs. IDOC gets posted if GRN exist for a PO.
In purchase order it is GR based IV. If vendor parks invoice and there is no GRN for purchase order then IDOC fails and it goes in status 51 (Error).
Our requirement is, IDOC should get posted even if there is no GRN for a purchase order and client do not want to remove GR based IV tick from PO. After through verification of the parked invoice it gets posted in the system.
We have done the config change in MM>>LIV>>EDI>Enter program parameters, we have maintained value "1" for field "Processing". Inspite of this change system does not process inbound ICOCs and they go in error (51) status.
    Please provide solution for this.
    Thanks & regards.
    Sanjay

    Hello Jurgen,
The change in piece of code suggested in SAP note no. 501524 was already implemented in our syste, However still invoice IDOC fails and it goes in error "status 51" as there is no GRN for that purchase order. However if material GRN is made for 1 qty then the invoice gets parked with the full amount even if the GRN  is for 1 no.
    Please suggest a suitable solution.
    Thanks.

A stock transport order to a location overseas etails crossing national borders and change of legal regulations. hence you need to maintina FT data. Please check the FT data in the billing header and item and maintian them. They are simple items like customs offices meas of transport...
This will give you a green status from the red status you will initially have. Then you can post the invoice.
