My Quick launch bar at the bottom of my screen has disappeared. How do I get it back?

I was out of town for 1 day and came to use my computer and my quick launch bar has disappeared completely from the bottom of my page.

Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound > Show volume in menu bar.

Thanks Roger I can now see the name of the website and if I right click on the name it shows me the web address. I used to be able to see the web address e.g. "https//google.co.uk" in this bar without having to right click on the name, is there a way of bringing this back?

Hello and thanks for the help. My address bar, toolbar and system tray was missing. I felt very lost without them! Pressing F11 brought them back, but every time I switch to a new page, the system tray disappears again. In the View menu, all the available toolbars are checked but I still keep loosing the system tray every time I move to a new page. H-E-L-P!

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.

The AirPlay icon will only appear in the Control Center when there is an AirPlay device turned on and connected to the same network as the iPad. If Safari - Preferences - General - Remove Downloads list items... is set to 'when Safari quits' or 'Upon Successful download'; then it's normal for the download arrow to be missing, until a new download is started. A small download might finish so quickly that the icon isn't noticed.
