My "recent calls" no longer appear after updating to iOS6

Is anybody having a similar problem? When I go to recent calls, it stays blank no matter how many calls I make, receive or miss.

I'm not a user of Yahoo Mail beyond that I can't really do much for you. I think that Yahoo may use Flash in there mail interface. Is anyone else having trouble with KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS, mine no longer work after updating to iOS6.

For exapmle, in my shortcuts I have "idk" to change to "I don't know" whilst typing.

IDK if this will help, I turned documents off in icloud and they worked, but when I toggle or turn documents on....no luck. I read in a separate post to uninstall and then reinstall emoji.....I really don't want to delete and reenter all my shortcuts I have at least 10 for every letter. Not sure what you mean by "sync" -- Apple uses the term "sync" for transferring photos from the computer to the phone and uses the term "import" for transferring them the direction you asked about.
For importing to the computer the following has directions (which for Windows 7 links to the Microsoft support site since the transfer is handled by Windows 7 the same as it would import from any camera:) Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC

You can try this, but it appears as though the download went bad and you might very well have to restore your iPad to get rid of the "Other",
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
"Other" consist of non media content .... App documents and files, contacts, calendar entries, Safari bookmarks and history, notes, email messages and so on. It should not be bloating your iPad storage.

The problem with XP is of course an environmental one as well. There is a huge number of fully functional PCs that suddenly are no longer supported by Microsoft, and that are not powerful enough to take newer supported MS operating systems. What MS basically recommends people is to throw them away with a horrible cost for our environment.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Did you restore from backup on iTunes or did you use iCloud?
Did you sync with iTunes? Is iTunes section for photos checked to sync all your photo locations?
Also, with photo streaming sometimes you need to switch from Album to photo stream to see some photos.
If your photos are on your computer still, they can be added back. if not and you depended solely on iCloud, then they may be gone.

One needs to press the home and sleep / wake keys together for the phone to reset
The other thing I could recommend
Let the battery run out and the phone completely "die"
It may take a day or two with it not being used
Then plug it in to charge and see if there is any change in behavior
If you cannot get this to work - you may need to bring it to an Apple store

I was having this problem, seem to happen when waking computer, once finally connected network works great.
You need to edit your network preferences to order the network selection list. Goto this support page Using network locations (Mac OS X v10.6 and later) and edit your selection list.
I also created a "HOME" location and deleted all networks except wifi. Put MB to sleep woke and safari worked great. Still I re-ordered the networks under Automatic putting wifi at top, sequence is from top down. Don't forget to click Apply. Have fun
