My reload page has disappeared

for whatever reason in Firefox toolbar menu my reload page has disappeared and I'd like it back as I use it all the time for reloading pages on the U-tube

I do not see a reload button anywhere. Frustrating.

* If, on Windows, in Firefox 3.6 the menu bar is hidden then press and hold the Alt key down or press F10, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click on it to make that permanent. See [[Menu bar is missing]]).
* Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
* If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to one of the toolbars.
* If, in "View > Toolbars > Customize", you do not see that item then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Sync it back from iTunes on the Mac.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Click on Pages in the list of apps
Click on the Sync Apps Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
You may have just moved it to another screen on the iPad and you can look for it by swiping from screen to screen. You can also search for it in Spotlight. Double tap the home button. Wait a second and tap it again. Wait a second and then tap it again. Type Pages in the search field at the top of the screen and see if it shows up.

It's probably safer to assume it doesn't backup pdfs. You could store your pdfs (for safekeeping) in an app like Dropbox.

The iWorks prebundled with Mac Minis is a demo release, and not fully featured. Unless you mean you downloaded iWorks from the Mac App Store at a later time, it really can't be freely re-downloaded as fully featured.

Can you startup to your install cd/dvd and Repair Disk using Disk Utility?
Insert your insall cd/dvd #1 and then restart while holding down the "c" key. Hold down till you see the bootup grey screen and the spinning cursor and then release.
When booted to the installer splash screen, go directly to the top Menu Bar and select Disk Utility from the Installer Menu. When Disk Utility opens select your HD in the left pane and then the First Aid tab and then click on Repair Disk.
When Disk Utility finishes, note any errors it reports, and if any are not repaired rerun. Quit Disk Utility and then quit the Installer and the computer will restart.
If the computer boots back up to your normal desktop you can then run Repair Permissions from your HD/Applications folder/Utilities/DiskUtility/Repair Permissions.

Bookmark This Page has disappeared only on gmail sign-in. Why? How to restore?

I am using a shared network computer but always use my own computer and always sign out after checking emails."Bookmark this page" option was there yesterday. Today, in its place is "edit bookmarks". If I go to any other website I can bookmark the page but cannot bookmark gmail sign in although i was able to until today. In addition, a previous bookmark for gmail sign in page just disappeared. No other bookmarks disappeared. Is this just a fluke or is someone messing with my computer?

In the current Firefox release the "Bookmark This Page" menu entry in the Bookmarks menu changes to "Edit This Bookmark" once you have bookmarked the page and the star on the Navigation Toolbar is blue highlighted.<br />
So do not get confused by the missing "Bookmark This Page" in the Bookmarks menu and seeing "Edit This Bookmark" instead.

Reload button has disappeared

Ok, my reload button in safari has gone awol? Have I chosen not to show it or something as I cant find a setting for it in the preferences panel :/
to clarify, ive only got:
back/forward, bookmark, address bar and search thingy.

You really don't need the extra clutter.
Command-R will refresh/reload a page.
Command left arrow key will go back a page right arrow goes forward.
Leaving them out allows more page content to be displayed and there are keyboard shortcuts for all of them.
Right click (Control click) on the address area and choose "Customize Toolbar" to put things back if you really like using the mouse and buttons.

My download page has disappeared and I can't seem to download from my hotmail account.

Something has gone wrong with firefox. I use it to access the net. I use it to access my email account. But suddenly my ability to download items sent to me in my mail can't be downloaded. In the past when I clicked on download a download page appeared and gave me the status of the download. Nothing happens when I download now and it is becoming very frustrating. I can download using safari as the web browser but I prefer Firefox. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

It happens if you click the icon on the Dock and then drag it off the dock before you let go of the mouse button. It will disappear in a puff of smoke. Try it, now that you know how to replace it.

Help - index page has disappeared after removing code that was recommended regarding Flash

After inserting some conditional comments regarding earlier versions of IE not displaying bulleted lists properly. I received a message about Javascript code that should be removed regarding my Flash element.
When I removed the code that was indicated, my index page changed to a gray screen that had some copy about needing to update the Flash player, so I thought I'd totally take out the code relating to the Flash element and I would reinsert the Flash movie. However when I preview it everything is gone except a gray background. In Live View the original page is there. When I try to look at in in design view preview or view it in a IE browser it is just a gray background.
I'm attaching the code for the page to see if I accidently removed some element that needed to be in to display the page. Please advise ASAP. Thank you.

Deleting and getting the file should solve this problem.

You should only require 2 IE conditional statement (for css code), one for less than IE 8 and one for less than IE 7.
Both or just one of these should be inside the <head> </head> tags not anywhere else.
The conditional statment in flash are for <object> code.

Results Page has disappeared - Captivate 5

Hi, for some reason, the results pages for the questions in my captivate project have just disappeared. If I open a new project and I insert a new question, I get a results page. If I try to insert a new question in my current project, I don't get a results page. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid but can anyone help?

Could you check the Quiz Preferences - see screenshot.
And did you check the filmstrip, the score slide will be after all scored objects, not always after the last question slide.
