My Render is not working in CC 2014- any ideas?

Just installed CC 2014 and I can't render at all. All of the usual shortcuts and even using the Menu bar won't render the timeline.

I was able to render using In and Out markers and then Rendering from Menu bar.

They sent me MB110LL/B, function keys need updated drivers (Boot Camp 3.3) which will only install if Windows 7 is installed. I have a large amount of older software that runs under XP but not Windows 7. The Apple support team basically said "too bad". If they replace a keboard model with a new model, they should at least make it backwards compatable or provide a Boot Camp update that will allow this model to work on older iMacs. Reloading Bootcamp 3.3 several times has no effect because it does not detect Windows 7. Any Ideas or help would be appreciated.

It is free. It is beta. It works well - I use it on mine and two PCs as well...
MS Security Essentials will no longer install due to compatibiliity issues - that is the idea of a beta - and the RC could be out in June.
Windows 7 doesn't work great on any Mac, or Apple drivers, fan cvontrol to manage heat, and other issues.
Put 8 in and get to know it, then when the RC comes out you'll be ready

I am Trying to update my 4s to ios8 not working properly.. Any ideas?

Try the update again. I received the invalid signature message when I updated to 10.5.1, but re-trying sorted it out. I might have had to re-start my computer, I can't remember now.

There are reports of similar behavour but generally it is due to battery connections. Is the indicator light working steadily or does it blink or even not function. Here is the Apple document dealing with some of the problems.

Media sharing on fcpx 10.1.4 not working : DSPPUBLISHING ERROR -29 : any idea ?

I use IMAC 27' with OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and FCP X 10.1.4 : I want to share a short piece of movie ( of 7 mn) I created. Whether it is to create an Image disc or to engrave a DVD , this fail at around 66% of the sharing process with the error : DSPPUBLISHING ERROR -29. Somebody has any idea ?

Did you follow the steps "Using mod_oc4j to Front Oracle Secure Enterprise Search with an Oracle HTTP Server" described here:

If so, then SES will now be communicating by ajp13 protocol, and will be expected to be called from Application Server (AS). As it says in that section:
"At this point, to access the Oracle SES middle tier you need to go through the Oracle HTTP Server. In other words, for the Oracle SES URLs you now have to use the host and port of the Oracle HTTP Server. The original URLs are no longer accessible."
The URL that works now will be something like
http://asserver:80/search/query ( or just http://assserver/search/query )
You can check this by editing $ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_SEARCH/config/http-web-site.xml and changing "protocol=ajp13" back to "protocol=http". Run "searchctl restart" and SES should now be accessible from the original URL. Don't forget to change it back!

My facetime and imessage are not working! They were literally were working one minute and not the next! I have reset (NOT RESTORED) my ipod, however these 2 apple apps are not working now, anyone have any idea why???

My ipod touch seems to have a few issues, however my pre-installed and updated imessage and facetime were literally working last night, and after a breif break to charge battery (the back of the ipod was SUPER HOT) wasn't able to do facetime or imessage, and am STILL NOT today, what gives?? Found the answer, at least for now! Thanks to roryjt, and having to search through tons of post on imessage and facetime issues! Changed the DNS on my ipod for my wireless network to 8.8.8.8 Not sure if it will work outside of my wireless network, but since its an ipod, not an iphone, I usually only use it in my place/on my network. I've played with java preference settings and it makes no difference.
Have you checked the brower preferences to make sure the plug-in is enabled? It appears maybe you have.

Are you talking about a custom workspace, or actual panels made with Configurator? If the former, then go Preferences > Sync settings. If the latter, then those Flash panels no longer work in CC 2014. Check out any of the multiple threads about Extensions being greyed out.

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write

Yap, sad but true...
The most annoying problem, besides iMessage, is the keyboard, it's horrible on my iPhone 4 in Safari. Some on some formulars the keyboard is so **** slow that I had to stop typing after 2nd word.
But I could fix the iMessage Problem, first turn off iMsg, then you have to backup your Phone on your PC/Mac in iTunes, turn off auto sync when done and pull the phone off. Then go to the Phone settings and reset everything, then choose "set up as new device".
When done go to settings and activate iMsg and wait for activation, it will work! After you're done plug the phone back to your PC/Mac and restore from the Backup you made before. Now go to phone settings again and check if iMsg is on, if not (as it was in my case), turn it on and activate again, it will work now!!!
Attention: Apps and Music have to be resynced or downloaded after this, they are NOT part of the Backup.
This was what Apple tech. support told me to do and it worked fine.

If you migrated all the info from time machine to your new MBP. The TM will usually ask to connect to the old backups.. sorry I am not sure is this what you want to do.. Personally I think you start a fresh backup.
BTW Time Capsule does not do anything.. it is a dumb hard disk in a box.. it is TM that does everything.
