My repair may be lost in the system. How do I find out.

I am worried that there may be a problem with a repair on my computer. I am trying to track it down and make sure that the repair process is on track. Doing so may require the intervention of a human being, but so far I am unable to penetrate the contact information on the support website and find a way to talk to somebody.
My daughter's computer was shipped to Thoshiba repair center in Jeffersonville Indiana and arrived there on Thursday, December 28th (according to the package tracking), although Toshiba didn't acknolowdge receipt until December 30th. In anycase, we recently received a notice telling us "case closed". However, there has been no further communication. The website reports "repair in progress", but I wonder if
(a) if it has actually been worked on?
(b) if so when can we expect more information?
(c) is the process stalled because Toshiba is waiting on some form of payment or other authorization from us?
I strongly suspect that due to some kind of clerical error, the computer is sitting on a shelf somewhere and not being worked on. All I want to do is verify that the process is moving forward. Is there some way to track this down?

That is a general statement that is always made when any device is not ejected, not a specific one about your hard drive. All you can do is plug it back in and hope it works. There is good chance nothing will be lost.
There is no ready technique available to you to check the details of all of your files, you will just have to assume they are all there.
Unplugging a drive like that without ejecting it is most likley to affect a file when it is still being written to such as a large (media) file that takes some time to write. If nothing was being written in that split second it was unplugged, it is highly likely nothing will be damaged or lost.

IF you had backed up the ipod to icloud, you can use another new device and restore from the backup. That should return the pics in the camera roll.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your new device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.

A wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

Launch JuicePhone. You should see a list of backups. Select the one that's most likely to contain the note you want to recover (again, you should make a copy of the backup in case something goes wrong).
