My reset location warning is asking me for a passcode?
My iPhone 4 is telling me location services are off. When I go into settings it says it is on, but I can't change it from on to off. I tried to reset my reset location warning but it is asking me for a passcode i never set a passcode ? What is my passcode ?
It may just be asking you to provide a passcode. Try entering a passcode you would use. If that doesn't do the trick, then it means you have Find My Phone enabled when you upgraded. You will need to disable it and restore the device:
Is Find My Phone turned on?
You'll have to login to iCloud.com, from any computer, locate, then erase your phone. Once done, restore from backup, if you have one.
That's the only way for you to fix this.

I just updated my Ipad 2 to IOS 7, now it is asking me for a passcode. I never set a passcode on my Ipad, so how can I enter a passcode. Earlier today I upgraded my Iphone 5 to IOS 7 and it asked me to set a passcode, which now works fine on my Phone. I tried using the OIS7 passcode I use on my Iphone 5 and it did not work and now my Ipad is disabled. Both devices are on icloud and share the same apple id. The Ipad screen says slide to set up but then there is a prompt for passcode, not for setting up passcode
I called Apple Support and a supervisor helped resolve this for me on my iPad. I suggest calling them for help as this is obviously an issue with the iOS 7 update - she helped me without charge. I could be missing something in my upcoming description, so do not take this as complete - call them.
I had to update iTunes on my Mac Air to the latest version, and I had an iCloud backup from the day I updated to iOS7. Have iTunes open but do NOT connect your iPad yet. Shut down the iPad. Then press/hold the Home key on the iPad while you connect the USB from the iPad to the computer (an image of the USB cable appeared on the iPad). Follow the prompts in iTunes to restore and then backup using iCloud. When the iPad rebooted again to do the backup install, I got the same pass code issue and iTunes would not recognize the iPad without entering a pass code. I disconnected the iPad, turned it off, pressed the Home key while connecting the USB cable. When I did the restore and backup from iCloud the second time, it worked without the pass code issue occurring. -
Before anyone says its not possible, as ive been told many times before, it is, I've done it before but it now asks me for a passcode and i can't guess it and don't know it, please help
if it keeps asking for the password again just write "0000", add the controller to your favorites, close bluetooth before asked for a password again, and the open bluetooth again

My Ipad is disabled because it is asking me for a passcode which I never put in.
My ipad is asking me for a passcode. I never put one in so it is disabled. My niece was playing on my ipad and may have put one in, but she doesn't remember. How do I get it off?
If you mean you mean you need to change the iCloud ID, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hi, please help me , i get notification about a new update for my iPad when I do the instal for the new version it is asking me for a passcode but which passcode may I have to enter? Because when I enter my gmail passcode it is call me that my passcode is failed
The passcode you need to enter is the passcode you set on your device. It is the passcode that you enter when you turn on your iPad or awaken it from sleep after and Auto lock.
If you do not know or remember your password and did not store it somewhere then you will have to restore your device.

I need to sync my iphone as its damaged ( water submersion) i can't though as itunes is asking me for my passcode and my screen doesn't work, the phones on though still ringing etc ... Please help
You need to do more research before you make purchases like this. You've wasted your money. The ONLY officially unlocked iPhone model sold in the US is the GSM model, and that model is only sold by Apple. That's the model iPhone you should have purchased.
Did you read & understand my initial post? Especially this part:
The unlocking of the GSM portion is just for International travel in order to use local sims. You still have to pay Sprint for the use of their international GSM partner’s network on a “pay as you go basis”. -
recently got went through the process of unlocking my phone through itunes, i am now unable to back my phone up to my computer, its asking me for a passcode that i used to unlock it, but i dont have a clue what it is. any ideas?
that works on my phone! But when im on ITunes on my computer and back it up manually, it comes up with a message saying, the passcode used to unlock iPhone is incorrect

My ipad is disabled and it tells me to connect to itunes. However, once I've connected to iTUNES, it ask me for my passcode and of course, I can't put that in because my ipad is disabled. I am ready to throw this iPad out the window. Wll never buy another one.
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost -
I purchased an iPhone5 at an unclaimed items police auction yesterday, but after I charged it and turned it on, it is asking me for the passcode which unfortunately I was not supplied with. Is there a way to get around the code or have I wasted my money?
If the Phone is Running iOS 7... then it has Activation Lock Enabled.

More than likely... I believe ebay has an area where you may be able to sell it for parts. -
I am trying to reset my phone and it is asking me for my passcode
Hi my phone is disabled locked out as I put in the incorrect pin too many times. I am trying to reset it using recovery mode and following all the instructions and after a while it says please put in your passcode to continue!! How can I put in my passcode when I dont know it?? I am doing the recovery mode for that reason and trying to reset my whole phone
Please help am desperate for my phone to work! What do I do??Follow these steps - Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support You need to erase and restore the phone. You do not necessarily need to force recovery mode to do this. If it is asking for a passcode, then you are not actually getting to recovery mode, otherwise you would have been taken immediately to the "connect to iTunes" screen.

My iPod is asking me for a passcode, which I never set up.
I went to change the song through the menu, and it asks for a passcode. It used to just come up with a number keybad, but now it comes up with a full keyboard.
Is there anything I can do to fix this other than reset my whole iPod?
