My response file show a blank in a field that was ...

.... confirmed as completed, to the person who submitted the form.  It's a multiple date reservation form and the selected date shows blank on some entries.
How would I attach the pdf / excel file for you to see the problem?

Bob,
Set me up as a Co-Author and I will be able to take a look at your form (and the Responses).  In the Design tab select the Share button that is in the lowwer left corner of the window.  Select Add Collaborators.  In the Share <form name> dialog add my email address ([email protected]) to the People to share with field (top field) and click Share.

  • .swf file isn't working in a wrapper that was created in Director::

    I'm working with a client that uses an in house "wrapper" that houses their training courses and has some back end reporting built into it.  The wrapper basically is the shell that consists of the navigation so users can get through the different files and courses that are housed within the wrapper.  It's a jerry.rigged lms.  I create courses for this client using captivate 4.0 and publish out to .swf files.  All my files have worked for them.  However,  I have created a new type of interaction for them and it's not working for them once the bring it into the director wrapper.  It's a screen that has 6 clickable areas on it and when the learner clicks, they should get a .pdf document that opens in a new window.  What's happening is the screen shows up, but the documents aren't pulling up when they click on the links.
    FYI--the interaction works perfectly until it is loaded into the wrapper.
    Any thoughts?

  • Response File Not Created and/or Responses Don't Show Up

    Everything was going fine except for one thing.  I must have created an Adobe account years ago with my personal email address.  I created some forms, sent them out to people I work with, and everything worked perfectly except for the people who noticed my personal email address when they reached the "Send Form" dialogue box.  It made them nervous, and some people stopped at that point.
    So I set up an Adobe account with my work address, and purchased the 99 cent trial.
    Then, when I try to figure out how to get my work address into that dialogue box I read on this site that it's not a good idea to use your account email as the email in the dialogue box, and so it's best to go into preferences and change my info to some other email and password.
    I now have Adobe accounts under four email addresses.  Only one has the 99 cent trial.
    I figured out how to change the email that shows in the dialogue box - open the form, go into Edit, and choose Preferences.
    I entered my work email into the preferences, thinking this will make everyone happy.
    Now as I try to distribute the form I'm being asked if I have an Adobe account and if I'd like to create one.  If I get past that it may give me a message that it is unable to create a response file.  Or, if it gets past that point the information from the submitted forms never shows up in the response file.
    I should have left everything as it was, and just told everyone to get used to my personal email address.
    Also, I called the number they told me to call to delete an account, and was told the wait time was more than an hour.  I'm not happy!

  • Trace files showing bind variables value=""

    10g on solaris
    Hi All,
    We have an issue with an informatica workflow issuing an update statment to Oracle in trems of performace.
    I switched the tracing on using DBMS_SUPPORT with binds set to TRUE. It has captured the trace files accordingly against a controlled set of data. Twot trace files were produced.
    The first trace files shows the SELECT statment being issues that identifies the records that will be updated.
    The 2nd trace file shows the actual UPDATE statment being issued as a PL/SQL loop to do the update.
    There were 20 records that the users have rigged to updated and the update statment shows 20 cases where updates took place. All updates took place succesfully after checking the post results. However my issue is why the trace files are showing the bind vaules as being set to ""?..any ideas appreciated!
    an extract of the trace file...

    any ideas appreciated?

    SatnamHere is a very brief demonstration.
    The script:
    VARIABLE V1 VARCHAR2
    VARIABLE V2 NVARCHAR2
    EXEC :V1:='A'
    EXEC :V2:='A'
    ALTER SESSION SET TRACEFILE_IDENTIFIER = 'FIND_ME';

    WHERE
      CHARACTER= :V2;
    SELECT SYSDATE FROM DUAL;
    ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS '10046 TRACE NAME CONTEXT OFF';In the script we have two bind variables defined, the first a VARCHAR2 and the second a NVARCHAR2. The output of the script looks like this in both cases:

    To answer your question, it is the client application that must correctly define the bind variable types.

  • Can't login to repository DB after installing EM using response file

    Anyone can help me?
    I installed EM 10g grid control 10.1.0.3 on solaris 9, it was a silent installation with response file, with new db. I specified the passwords for sysman, sys,system and dbsnmp in the response file, the installation went smoothly, but after that, when I tried to login to the repository database using the passwords which I set in the response file, it told me that my password was wrong! but the account status are all 'OPEN'. So I have to change the passwords mannually again. Is it OK to specify password in the response file?
    Anyone can help me?
    The following were the account status after EM 10g installation
    SQL> select username, account_status from dba_users;
    USERNAME ACCOUNT_STATUS
    SYS OPEN
    SYSTEM OPEN
    DBSNMP OPEN
    SYSMAN OPEN
    MGMT_VIEW OPEN
    PERFSTAT OPEN
    OUTLN EXPIRED & LOCKED

    Hi daryle
    the passwords are all "password" or "sysman", no funny chars.
    the following are the required items in the response file
    FROM_LOCATION="/opt/install_em_grid/Disk1/stage/products.xml"
    ORACLE_HOME="/opt/app/oracle_em/product/10.1.0/em_1"
    REMOVE_HOMES={"/opt/app/oracle_em/product/10.1.0/em_1"}
    s_mountPoint="/opt/app/oracle_em/product/10.1.0/em_1/oradata"
    s_reposPwd="sysman"
    s_reposPwdConfirm="sysman"
    s_passwordChoice="D"
    sl_adminPwds={"password", "password", "password"}
    sl_adminPwdsConfirm={"password", "password", "password"}
    s_dbSid="emrepos"

    I installed again with this response file, everything going up ok, the only problem is that I can not login to the respository database with the password i set in my response file. that means I HAVE TO change them at the db site.

  • I just updated itunes on my mac and all of my icloud movies and tv shows are missing. Basically everything that wasn't on my computer isn't showing as available for download.

    I just updated itunes on my macbook air and when I click on the movies or tv shows tabs in my library everything that was previously stored on icloud is now missing. This is $K's worth of stuff and I can't find any information on how to retreive it.

    We are having this same issue.  We have over 200 songs that are now missing and only our most recent ones show up in our ITunes library.  Fortunately we have one phone that still has all of our music still in tact. This phone is no longer one I will be using as I upgraded to the Iphone 6, and only the most recent purchased songs remain.  The rest are no where to be found and the iTunes store shows that I would need to re-purchase.  Not sure what to do as when I tried to sync my last phone, all the songs were gone.

  • 'Save as' file shows blank code view until reopened

    Odd behaviour that I have noticed just recently (say last week - so could be after the XMP updates to CS5). I have a large number of PHP pages within a development site, they reference headers and footers etc... If I carry out a 'Save as' procedure, the orginal file stays open, and a new tab opens to its right with the filename entered during the 'Save as' operation. But instead of showinng the code in the Code View, it appears blank. Selecting Split or Design view also presents a blank pane. Note that Live Code and Live View were not activated during the above. Interestingly, if I do switch Live View on, though the Code View remains blank, the Design View renders as one would expect. If I switch Live Code, both Code View and Design View show code and rendered designs. In both the latter cases, if I switch off Live Code/View, when it goes back to ordinary Code View - once again nothing is visible in its pane.  However, if I close 'saved as' file's tab, and then navigate to and open it, the Code View is displaying the code. So the code was there, when initially created in the 'Save as' operation, but was being shown/displayed in the Code View pane.
    I have DW CS5 build 4916, and don't recall this being a problem when I initially updated to CS5. My OS is Mac 10.6.4. The pages concerned have not been newly created and form part of a project that has been in progress from early last year and so started in the CS4 of Dreamweaver.

    Possible good news. I've been away and hadn't opened DW since also having had a problem with Finder and external drives on my return. When I opened it today, and needed to do a 'Save As' , it did it with no problem of rendering. Though there have been no DW updates, there was updates to PS and ID. So I'll tentatively say the problem has gone away - hopefully for good.
    Just editing this post. I happened to turn  Live View on etc.. for the first time in a couple of weeks due to the  above. I realsied this morning I hadn't turned it on. Now it is just as  before when I try to 'Save As' - blank, an then have to close and reopen  for it to render (even though the Live View/Live Code is now stiched  off).
    No I don't know how to turn this thread back into an 'Unanswered' question.

  • When I open a pdf document from my dropbox to view it, the document shows up blank, even though it is filled out. This also happened with pdf documents that have been e-mailed to me.

    When I open a pdf document from my dropbox to view it, the document appears blank, even though I know the information is actually there. This also has happened with pdf documents that have been e-mailed to me, then opened to view and they are blank?? Why are they showing up blank?

    When I open emails with PDFs I click on the attachment (doing this all on my iPad) it gives me the option to "open in iBooks", I accept then after that the document is sucked into my iPad but I can't do anything with the PDF after that.  Where is the actual file on my iPad? Why can't I email or send these PDFs to my cloud (Dropbox)?
    It's like once they go into iBooks they're stuck forever.

  • Can you import form responses from one responses file to another? I know you can export...

    I have a distributed form with a responses file that has six responses in it. Somehow the distribution got cut off and I had to set up a new distributed form and a new responses file. I was able to export the six old responses to a .csv file, but have not found a way to IMPORT the .csv file into the new responses file.
    "Add" does not work-- it is looking for PDF files only. Does anyone know a way to import those 6 responses into my new responses file? The distributed form did not change in any way, so all of the fields are still exactly the same.
    I can create a master portfolio and just add the two portfolios together, but they just remain as file icons within the portfolio and I need the data to be inline together in one file.
    Thank you very much.

    If you still have the .muse file for the template you want you can open it up in Muse 'Select All' --> Copy.
    Open your destination blank template and paste it. You can have bothe muse files up in Muse at the same time.

  • After installing or upgrading to Firefox 31, starting Firefox does not show homepage, customize shows a blank page and the option button does not work

    I am the Windows admin for a university department and install PCs with Firefox all the time. This problem does not happen with every PC I maintain, only a select few (different model laptops with Windows 8.1 and update 1.) Until today, it only happened with new user accounts (with admin rights) that I setup on the laptops for our staff. Today this happened with The Administrator account while setting up a new laptop. In all cases so far, I install Windows from a saved image that was created using sysprep.
    I have tried the many suggestions of resetting Firefox, deleting the users Firefox profile, deleting the users Windows profile, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox and the latest Java, but nothing helps. After uninstalling, I run an app to delete temp files and caches and will even manually remove registry keys HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla and HKCU\SOFTWARE\Mozilla. Plus I reboot and make sure the install folder is deleted after uninstall.
    Results are the same: after installing Firefox 31, the initial setup window for migrating IE and/or Chrome pops up and after clicking the Finish button, Firefox starts, but does not show the initial new user page, only a blank page. Clicking on the Options button (3 bars) does nothing. Right-clicking in the proper area, the popup menu appears so I can choose to Customize, but that only opens another tab with about:customize in the URL and the page is blank. From the right-click popup menu, I can enable the Menu Bar and get to Options from that.
    My latest attempt has helped a little. I uninstalled Firefox 31, cleaned up, deleted user Firefox profile, rebooted and then installed Firefox 30. Inital startup runs, and tells me I'm not up to date, and the Options button works. But I still cannot customize.
    I then upgraded to Firefox 31, but then it's back to no startup page, no options button and no customize. I can downgrade to 30 and get all but customize working again.
    Only Addon is one for McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which just after installing is disabled.
    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
    Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.
    Thanks for your help. Got any other suggestions?

  • How to show a blank or clear cell for the first entry in a numbers pop-up menu on a mac. I can do it on the iPad but not on the mac. Thank you.

    Can you please advise how to show a blank or clear cell as the first option in a pop -up menu on a Mac, I can see how on an IPad but but not on the Mac.
    Thank you.

    Hi grm,
    Yvan Koenig wrote an Applescript to create an popup menu with a true blank menu item. You can find it in Yvan's Box Account public area. Click on for_iWork'09, then for-numbers'09, then look for and download popup_with_nil.zip. Unzip the file, then open it with ScriptEditor.
    Yvan's scripts include instructions (in French and English) on how and where to save the script and how to use it. I haven't read this one recently, so I can't give you any further details on it.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • How can I access the savestore.js contents if the command about:sessionrestore shows a blank box even for already succesfully used backups?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    How can I access the savestore.js contents if the command about:sessionrestore shows a blank box even for already succesfully used backups?
    Is there a recent known problem with the about:sessionrestore command or is there any other way understandable to Firefox 29.0.1 through which recover the information stored in the sessionstore.js files.
    It seems the command about:sessionrestore is not capable anymore to read the contents of the sessionstore.js file present in the user profile folder.
    The box where windows and tabs should be listed is empty.
    I tried to paste a few old sessionstore.js files in the user directory while the firefox.exe process was not active, then opened Firefox again and tried to launch the about:sessionrestore command without any result.
    I think the files are not corrupted because I used most of them in other occasions and I stored them in folders not connected to the common use of any process.
    Also, I already successfully used the about:sessionrestore command in Firefox 29.0.1 in a few other occasions.
    I did a "clean reinstall" of Firefox 29.0.1 and the box contained in the tab where about:sessionrestore is executed is still empty even if the files themselves contain such information as tabs location and html addresses.
    After this I recovered the profile data I had stored in another folder and this is what you can see attached to this question.

    If I select the "show my windows and tabs from last time" option in the startup settings the contents of any savestore.js file i paste in the user profile folder are opened without any problem.
    still, the box in the tab loaded by the about:sessionrestore command is blank and empty, so it's not possible to "de-select" any window or tab. it's necessary to find an editor to modify session backup files which may contain "bad addresses".
    does such an editor already exists?

    My iPhoto '08 (v 7.1.5) shows a blank screen (no photos). How do I rebuild it from my iPhoto library.  Thanks!

    Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
    To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
    Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
    In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
    Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
    Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
    Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
    When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
    In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
