My resume was saved in textedit..i want to make changes but it wont let me...HELP!!!!

how can i make changes????

Hi Seeerrrgggg,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on exactly what you are seeing or describing. If you are having issues deleting purchased music off of your iPhone or from an iTunes Match account, you may find the steps outlined in the following articles helpful:
How to delete content you've downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store - Apple Support
Delete songs and music videos from your iTunes library with an iTunes Match subscription - Apple Support
Also, if you are seeing a cloud icon with a downward pointing arrow, that means the song isn't on the iPhone but is available for download from iTunes in the Cloud/iTunes Match. If you would like to hide those tracks, you may also find this article useful:

    Hi,
Photos synced from your computer can't be deleted directly on your iPhone. You'll need to connect your device to iTunes and remove the pictures by going in the Photos tab on your device's settings.

Yes, the update takes quite a bit of time (> 1 hr for my iPad2) and will not initiate unless you have enough juice in your battery or are plugged in.

  • Playing music the screen freezes and if i want to make changes it will not let me.I go to restore factory settings and afterwards i am able to listen, view album covers, and change the type of music i want.Is there a better way to do this? Thx

When playing music on my ipad the screen freezes and i am not able to view album covers or make any changes i am only able to hear what i selected.
This is the third time it has happened since i updated to the new IOS 5.1. It never happened before.
If i go to Summary and restore the ipad to the factory settings then i'm able to run it as normal.
Is this a glitch in the new software,or a problem with my ipad?

I'm finding Multicam, combined with Compound Clips to be extrememly efficient.
I started with 2 different video clips, along with 2 different audio clips.
Layed out both clips side by side (visually, they are on top of each other on the timeline),and made that a single compound clip.
Then I laid out both audio clips on top of each other on the timeline and made those a compound clip.
    So now I have
    2 original individual Video shots
1 compound video shot of the 2 above side by side.
    2 original audio tracks
    1 compound audio track
Next I made a multicam track, and added to it all 3 video shots (2 original + 1 compound) And I added the compound audio track. I set that audio track to be "the" track.
It's just a little bit of setup, but really not that bad, and the ability to use the multicam feature to switch between shots, while keeping everything in sync is fantastic!

  • I upgraded my icloud by mistake and now i want to downgrade but it wont let me do it

I updraded my icloud last night my mistake and now i want to downgrade again but it wont let me.  How can i downgrade?

    Hello there, Liezlsa.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up information on just that topic:
    iCloud: Storage upgrades and downgrades
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4874
If you are working on iPad the following information is useful:
    Downgrade your iCloud plan
You can choose a lower-tier storage plan to replace your higher-tier plan (for example, a 10 GB plan to replace a 20 GB plan). The downgrade will take effect on the anniversary of when your storage upgrade was purchased.
    iOS 5 or later
Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
    Tap Change Storage Plan.
Tap Downgrade Options and enter your Apple ID password.
Choose a different plan to use when your current storage plan expires.
    Tap Done.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • Creative cloud wants to make changes

I get an annoying popup that tells me "Creative Cloud wants to make changes" and asks for my CC password. But when I enter the password it won't accept it. But if I press CANCEL, the popup returns in five seconds. I know the password is correct because I can log into CC and also my adobe account.
I thought maybe it was a virus, but if so, it has infected both my work and home Macs. The only way to rid myself of this popup (which sits on top of everything) is to quit creative cloud. I have asked Adobe for help but they've shrugged their shoulders.
    Anyone else had this issue?

catker, you might be right about the latest InDesign update. My Mac's /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/Adobe InDesign 9.2.1 log file tells me that I Installed the InDesign update on 3/25/14, which is around the time I started seeing Creative Cloud requesting my password everytime I booted up. I've recently opened the Mac's Console utility and watched it as I enter the password when Creative Cloud asks for it. What I see is this:

As you can see, there are lots of crashes of a process called ExManEscalatedPrivilegeServer, whose crash reports tell me that its parent process is Creative Cloud Helper:
    Process:         ExManEscalatedPrivilegeServer [786]
    Path:            /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/*/ExManEscalatedPrivilegeServer
    Identifier:      ExManEscalatedPrivilegeServer
    Version:         7.1.2.17 (7.1.2.17)
    Code Type:       X86-64 (Native)
Parent Process:  Creative Cloud Helper [406]
and also lots of repeated references to Adobe Extension Manager .mxi files in the folder /Library/Application Support/Adobe/InDesign/Version 9.0/en_US/Extensions/REMOVED_CC/, which I'm guessing are components of InDesign replaced by the latest InDesign CC updater.
I don't really know what any of this means, other than I see it happening every time I've opened Console after I've booted up and Creative Cloud requests my password, and repeated references to ExManEscalatedPrivilegeServer and old pieces of InDesign tucked away in the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/InDesign/Version 9.0/en_US/Extensions/REMOVED_CC/ folder.

  • Apple80211Agent wants to make changes....

I get this pop-up window all the time: "Apple80211Agent wants to make changes. Please write your password to allow this." It's very annoying. Is it possible to let the agent do its work without me having to write down my password all the time?

    Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the page that opens.
Select Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
Test. If the problem is not solved, enter the name of your wireless network in the search field of the Keychain Access window. Double-click one of the items of type "AirPort network password" and check the Show password box. You'll be prompted for your login password. Copy the password to the clipboard and paste it into a TextEdit window. Delete all the network password items. Quit Keychain Access.
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on, then rejoin the network. You'll be prompted for the network password. Enter the password you saved.

You can likely download the last compatible version by:
Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

Suddenly I have problems moving files to the trash...  get a dialog saying Finder wants to make changes and I must provide the password... Any explanation or ideas how I can get this to stop?

Please take these steps if you're prompted for a password when moving items in your home folder to the Trash.
    1. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/.Trash
    2. Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Show Info
from the contextual menu.* An Info dialog should open.
    3. The dialog should show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section. If that's not what it shows, click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the window and enter your password when prompted. Use the plus- and minus-sign buttons to give yourself Read & Write access and "everyone" No Access. Delete any other entries in the access list.
    4. In the General section, uncheck the box marked Locked if it's checked.
    5. From the action menu (gear icon) at the bottom of the dialog, select Apply to enclosed items and confirm.

  • I keep getting a message after start up saying "Completer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this (which I have not done). Have screen shots. What do I do? Read this is malware. Running Yosemite OS X 10.10.1

Have mac book pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.1.  I get this after start up: "Completer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this" (which I have not entered. When I cancel, there is some unknown "installer" icon on my desktop. If I move it to the trash, this all just starts over on the next time it is restarted. Have screenshots, but for some reason I can not attach to this message right now. Heard this is malware...HELP!

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.
