When i'm using safari, if i wan to go back to the previous page, i just have to slide with 2 fingers form the left to right.But if i do that now, the whole tab is useless. Anyone help me please?=]

Hi...
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cahce
If that didn't help, back to the menu bar, click Safari > Reset Safari
Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.

Scale clips using the timeline- doesn't seem to work well?

I had been scaling my clips (200%) using the effect control panel, and decided it would be a couple less clicks to simply change the property to "Motion:Scale" in the timeline and drag the bar on the clip up to scale it- but it's strange, because if I drag it all the way up (600 units is the highest) the clip is scaled by 150%. What's the thought behind this? I mean, how can I use this feature to scale the clip in an intuitive way? Ideally, wouldn't dragging the bar to 200 scale the image by 200%? Is this simply not what that feature is for? What WOULD someone use this feature for if not this?

Yeah, me too! I also find that using multiple interface elements to complete one repetitive task is silly. If I am already using the timeline to place clips, why not also use it to scale them by a precise amount? The feature appears to be there. I am wondering about how or if it was intended to be used. Any insight from those who use the Motion:Scale feature in the timeline?

Data Detection in Calendar in Mavericks doesn't seem to work anymore.

Since the upgrade to Mavericks, data detection doesn't seem to work anymore.
Before i just typed in a new event:
"Meeting XY at 7pm in Berlin"
and ical would automatically change that to "Meeting XY" and insert the time in the appropriate field and the same for the location.
Now it doesn't work anymore and i have to insert it manually in the different fields.
Anyone with the same problem? and maybe a solution?

After removing the Deny line indicated in the link above, I removed the printer from the remote computer and then added it back it. Two things happened, first when adding the printer back in, I no longer got the generic postscript printer driver as the default, but got the correct Officejet Driver. Second, It worked! Now to try it with my old 10.4.x powerbook to see if it's solved there too.

Safari on my iPhone 6 running 8.02 doesn't seem to work right. Some Java scripts don't show correctly and they do on other browsers I have downloaded. I tried almost everything and nothing seems to work to fix it. Please help.

Some websites like the one of my college uses JavaScripts and they seem to load correctly to a certain point but then not really. For example in one it would say select an option from the left menu. And I do it hut nothing happens. But when I go to the same website in another browser on my phone. The JavaScript works completely and allows me to see whatever I was clickig on that menu. I have seen that there are other websites being affected too. I tried clearing my cookies and data. even restarted my phone. And doesn't seem to work. I don't know how change the configuration any more to make it work like normal. At first I thought it was my school's website but it never got fixed. And now I realized is my safari browser! I wanna keep using it since I am really familiar with It. If someone knows how to fix this please let me know!

You can reset the SMC and see if that helps. If it's a unibody or Retina, follow the method for "a battery you should not remove yourself."

Nope. You can always reverse that if you choose.

I've tried using Caleb's approach (which is the same as I used with Lion), but the programme doesn't respond now that I have installed Mountain Lion.
My problem is that I do not want to use IE7 but that a programme I need regular access to will only allow IE7 and I've been told by the developers that it is too expensive to upgrade this programme to allow it to be used by other browsers.
So, my puzzle remains the same. I could access IE7 and use the programme using Caleb's solution with Lion. I can't do the same with Mountain Lion. I do (I think!) understand your point about the programme requiring IE7 specifically, but if it worked on Lion, why isn't it working on Mountain Lion? Or was I just lucky before?
I'll try mende1's approach, though I doubt I'm technical enough to virtualise anything!

Email Security Plug-in - Doesn't seem to work with right click or save and send

I've searched the knowledge base but have not located the answer yet.
We have the Encrypt Message plug-in installed to flag the email [SEND SECURE]. This works very well when in Outlook. It does not seem to work when right clicking a file to send outside of Outlook or performing Save and Send from within Microsoft Office. The add-in still shows and users are clicking it and the Send button but the emails are not going securely. We are on Microsoft2010 on mostly XP machines.
How can I get Encrypt Message to work in all instances?

Well you can plug it into itunes and under summary tab hit RESTORE. This should fix any software issues that you may be experiencing. About gamepass, I dont know, I dont have it. Siri is not on the IPAD2. Only on the 3rd generation Ipad, so you wont have it(going by ipad2 under your name).

I've been coding a game server browser in Java, and have gotten pretty far with it. However, I'm running into a slight problem. I want to be able to align certain cells to my own specifications, as well as size columns myself. In order to accomplish this, I don't want the table to automatically display columns. Therefore, I have attempted to use jtbServers.setAutoCreateColumnsFromModel(false);. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to work...maybe it works only after-the-fact, but what the following code results in is twice the columns.

I want to be able to align certain cells to my own specifications, as well as size columns myselfWell, there is no reason you can't let the table create the TableColumnModel normally and then use the setAutoCreateColumnsFromModel(...) method. Then you would customize the TableColumns.
maybe it works only after-the-fact,I would say this is the case. This method is handy when you need to reset the table with a "refreshed" TableModel. Say you have a query from a database that will always return the same data and number of columns. When you refresh the table using the setModel(...) method, then the default behaviour would be to recreate the TCM. However, if you've already customized the TCM then you would use the setAutoCreateColumnsFromModel to preserve your customization.

I've noticed this too...when I'm in Safari, scrolling is a bit jerky and sometimes it stops even though I'm still scrolling...my fingers go right off the trackpad. I just downloaded the new updates onto my brand new macbook air- had to do it manually as "power nap" doesn't work, even after the SMC reset. Lamesauce.

The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to FP requireing an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I fould a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

Are you not able to start aperture on your old macbook? If you are able to then you can retrieve your serial number by clicking on 'about aperture'
If not then it's a call to apple as the above posts suggest. I did when I lost mine, bear in mind though, they may ask for your original receipt as they did with me and I had to fax it.

HTML Snippet doesn't seem to work

I recently upgraded from iWeb 08 to iWeb 09.
My problem is, HTML Snippet Widget doesn't seem to work.
Even though I am able to drag the HTML Snippet onto my page
and they just look fine on my iMac, when I publish and upload the files,
those counter and ads I made using HTML Snippet are all gone.
I see nothing at the places they should be.
What should I do?
Or am I missing something?

Wacom Tablet doesn't seem to work all of the time?

I have a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, not more than a year old. I recently installed it onto my Macbook Pro and it worked fine, but when I unplugged it and came back to work with it later, it doesn't seem to work. The mouse doesn't respond to where I click on the pad.
So, I've reinstalled this a couple of times and was able to make it work perfectly, but today when I went back to work in photoshop, it doesn't seem to be responding again.
Does anyone have any tips? I know that Leopard likes you to eject USB devices instead of just pulling them out of the slot, but I don't see anywhere to eject it.
Does anyone know what's up?
