Then restart your Mac.

There are alternatives. But none of them have Google street view, able to work on iOS 6. Apple should have offered this as a beta version, for a few more months instead of inflicting us with an inferior product. This iPad will probably be my last Apple product. A shame, because until last a few days ago, I thought the iPad and iPhone were fantastic.
Apple should quit their petty squabbling with, Google and Samsung and concentrate on supplying the best product.
Google and Samsung must be enjoying this particular fiasco. -
I had an older version of Firefox on older Mac OS 10.3.9. Tried to update. Crashed the Mac. Lost things saved on my desktop and Firefox that I had benn using for years is gone. Is there an older version I can reinstall?

I am getting I-messages that have been sent and receveid by my kids. I am the master account holder but this has just started happening but we have had i phones for years. We are connected to the same I-tunes account but they are seperate devices. When my daughter sends an i message it goes to her contact in my name not hers. My iPhone4 has 3G but Safari won't load any data, why is this?
My iPhone4 works fine in some places, but whenever I'm in the house and have 3G, safari won't load. I just get a message saying 'safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding' can anyone help me fix this?
Thank youI'm getting the "server stopped responding" error on apps that use 3G (Words with Friends, My Xbox Live, etc) as well as in Safari. Anything that uses the 3G network is timing out. Texts work flawlessly, and emails do arrive and send, though it's very slow.
I spoke with a representative at AT&T. She said there were no reports of tower outages or issues in my area (Dallas, Texas). She had me restore the factory defaults on the network settings, remove and reinstall the SIM card, reset my phone, turn 3G off and back on again, empty the cache and data in Safari, and some other things. None of it fixed it.
If I turn off 3G, and only use the Edge network or WiFi, everything works just fine. But 3G is broken, and has been for me since yesterday
Would love to hear if anyone else has any ideas. -
I keep asking questions about problems and see them posted in the "support" forum and usually with a note about how many other users have this problem. There are never any answers or replies even though some of the number for others with the problem are huge.
As I say, I have only one answer to many questions, my last one, which is why have I switched to Google Chrome. Just downloaded iTunes to new dell laptop, tried syncing my iPhone get an error message: "this iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started". What is the issue, had this phone over a year??
I had this problem before. I like to disable extra services to speed up my computer and I disabled the Apple Mobile Device service and had to re-enable this.
You can do that by going Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services. Once you have gone to the services window, look for Apple Mobile Device and right-click. Select "Properties". There should be some information about the service as well as the label "Startup Type" with a drop-down menu beside it. If it says "disabled", that is your problem; Change the selection to anything except disabled (Automatic is easier and ensures that you can sync as soon as itunes opens).
If this doesn't work, I would look into your anti-virus' settings. Good Luck!
