My Samples are gone and i can't reinstalle them

bought a new sample pack,tried to put them in the loop browser,but then somehow all the other loops,Jam Packs etc. disappeared from the loop browser.
Tried to reinstalled them but it didn`t work out, more samples disappeared.

Assuming you have already tried to rebuild the loop index in Logic

and it didn't work....
There is a 'bug' in Logic that can sometimes cause this to happen.
The fix is, to quit Logic and then rebuild your loop index in GarageBand.
Then when you start Logic again, all your loops will show up once more.
I had to puchase GB to fix this issue... but when all else had failed, that was the only choice and it worked perfectly.

I've been using a new HD camera and i have had to change a billion settings on FCP. Now that I am no longer using HD it was time to go back to the way they were, but I must have done something wrong. Trash your FCP preferences. This will reset FCP to it's defaults.
Close Final Cut Pro and open a Finder window.
Click on your user name in the side bar.
Open the following sub folders Library, Preferences, Final Cut Pro User Data.
Place the following files in the Trash:
Final Cut Pro 6.0 Prefs, Final Cut Pro Obj Cache, Final Cut Pro Prof Cache.
Empty the Trash.
Open Final Cut Pro. You will be asked to choose your working format (Easy Setup) and designate your scatch disks.

i purchased ringtones in the itunes store, then updated my iphone to ios 6, my ringtones are gone and when i search for them itunes wants me to re buy them!!! i paid for an itunes card, and paid for the tones, why should i repay for them? is there anyway to get them back without re-buying them? i have an iphone 4 and its running the new ios6. please help!

Settings>sounds>Ringtone (under sound and vibration Patterns)>store (up right corner)>more>purchased.
Yoy don't have to re-buying. Store knows you are the owner of these ringtones.

New update all my tool bar options are gone and I can't get them back.

If you have deleted notes from the iCloud account, you can't recover them, unless you also had them on your computer and maintained a back up.

Suddenly my playlists are gone and I can't get them back!

I've been adding lots of music to my IPOD in anticipation of a trip, adding to my awesomely well-organized playlists. Suddenly I got a pop-up saying that my ITunes library couldn't hold anymore songs - which is puzzling since there aren't that many there. With the pop-up was a question like, "ITunes can create a new playlist - yes or no?" At first I said no but it popped up again. So I said yes and it created a new playlist in ITunes called Rebecca's IPOD. All of the playlists are still there on ITunes but now, on my IPOD, the playlists are gone! Instead of all my playlists there is now just "Rebecca's IPOD Selection" which has all the songs on my IPOD, but no playlists!! If anyone can please help me get my playlists back on my IPOD I would be very, very appreciative~!! Thank you.

Your iPod is still set to automatically update songs from a playlist, so you cannot drag playlists to it in iTunes.

How to sync music to your iPod when your library is bigger than your iPod storage space
Since the size of your library is bigger than iTunes, you have a few options...
1) Remove some songs from your library or uncheck the ones that you don't want on your iPod. If you uncheck the ones you don't want on your iPod, connect your iPod to the computer. When it appears in iTunes go to iTunes-->preferences. Click the iPod. Click the Music tab under that. Check "Only Update Checked Songs." Also, click the bubble next to Automatically Update All Songs and Playlists. Click OK. Assuming the size of your library is smaller than your iPod again (or the size of the checked songs is), iTunes should load all your songs and playlists onto the iPod.
2) You can automatically update selected playlists. Pick the playlists you want on your iPod and only those will be put on. This works only if all the songs in the playlists (together) are smaller than the size of your iPod.
To do this, connect your iPod to the computer. When it appears in iTunes go to iTunes-->preferences. Click the iPod, the music tab under that, and click the bubble next to automatically update selected playlists only. Click the playlists you want and click OK.
3) Manually update your iPod. Only put the songs and playlists you want to onto the iPod. See this for info...

I have been using extensions with V8 for several weeks and with last Firefox update this morning all are gone and I can't get them going again!

I installed V8.0.1 several weeks ago (or what I thought was V8.0.1) and got Awesome Screenshot (A.S.). Although it was stated that AS was not compatible with V8.0.1 I installed it any way and it worked. I have been using it every day until this morning. Another Firefox update came down this morning. Although I clicked the “Update Later” box, it updated at that time anyway. (This has happened every time I received an update in the past and clicked “Update Later” box, but that another problem; not the issue today.) After today’s update completed and I restarted Firefox. I check the version and it still was V8.0.1. All of my extensions were gone. I followed the instruction for re-enabling. All of the extensions were marked “disabled”. Only two of them had “enable” buttons (Garmin Communicator and InvisibleHand), both of which I didn’t load nor use. All extensions had “Remove” buttons. Is there any way for me to get A.S. working, I use it often. If not, how about “Screengrab”. That’s better than nothing.
I am using Windows XP Professional SP3.

There is a known issue where multiple instances of plugin container open if history or cookies are cleared. Are you, or some utility clearing firefox cookies or history, that could be the reason. This problem continues even if plugins are disabled in Firefox.
*Are you opening multiple instances of Flash Player ?
* Is the problem reproducible ? <br/> for instance does it always crash the plugin or cause it to hang if you use a particular site ?
If you get the FlashPlayer plugin crashing use the option to submit the crash reports, it is then possible to follow them up. It is possible to stop the plugincontainer opening, but that could result in a firefox crash. Of course the firefox crash can also send crash reports out, and that could be useful.

There are some problems with FlashPlayer currently under investigation, and there may be other threads in the forum about problems. (e.g. Bug 561019 - Plugin waveOutOpen hangs )
Sometimes using Firefox 3.6 is a workaround that helps with FlashPlayer problems, if you wish to experiment with that consider installing firefox Portable and using Firefox 3.6.23 (or soon 3.6.24) for tests with flash player, whilst keeping firefox 7 for day to day browsing.

The menu icons for yahoo toolbar are gone and I can't get them back. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no icons. What do I do?

This is the second time in a week this has happened. The last time I got them back by right clicking on a blank spot in the toolbar. That will not work this time. I there anything else I can do to make it work right. It is working fine on Explorer 8, which I have also, but really prefer Firefox. Please tell me how to fix it. Also, I keep getting updates to Firefox, but they seem to be unable to connect to the update server most of the time.

I repurchased one ring tone, backed up my phone and tried to download a book again. Then I restored and did not get my ringtone back.
Also, one of my audio books is still there, but the first one I bought is not. It does not make sense.

First Time Discussion User - My photos are gone and I can not replace them?

I had been working along fairly well. The Apple TV was being synchronized with a file on my XP PC when I brought up I Tunes (that's another problem). I was loosing too much of the picture when looking at my photos. I thought that I had made an error in the set up that told the Apple TV to expand the picture to fill the screen. I thought maybe this was causing the photos to be cropped.
Anyhow, I went into the setup area of the Apple TV and tried a lot of areas. Nothing sounded like it fixed the problem. Somehow in this exploration of the menues, I deleted all of my pictures on the Apple TV. So I went to iTunes on the PC to resynch the photos. Somehow the iTunes lost track of the Apple TV.
I used the help to lookup how to reestablish contact. I received some sort of message that said that I had a problem with a firewall. I don't think that I changed anything since it worked last.
I'm about ready to give up. Apple TV and iTunes are not useable by a Windows person.
Does anyone have a suggeston better than - "Try a different solution."?

Reset my Ipod and all my songs are gone - and I can't get them off itunes!!

I recently reset my ipod because it was frozen. Now I find that most of my music - the stuff I purchased from itunes is no longer on it. Even though my laptop is authorized - and the only computer I have that's authorized - it won't let me update my ipod with all my purchased music. Please help I am freaking out because all this music is for my reception at my wedding!!

OK, you need the iPod 101 course.
But....if you connect your iPod to your laptop, things should be back to normal.
If you want to hook your iPod up to more than one PC you have to set it for manual update....which is not the default. The default is automatic update.

It doesn't give me a list of dates. Please help...? (I just installed Kaspersky and I think it may have put me into "safe browsing" - their words not mine - if that means anything to you.) Again, here's what I'm doing:
