My Samsung Network Extender worked for years, but no longer works. How do I fix it?!

My Samsung Network Extender worked for years. I switched away from Verizon only to find out it won't work when my phone is on another network. I have since switched back to Verizon and now my Network Extender does not work AT ALL. I will switch away again if this problem is not resolved.

Scrubber bar now works for songs but no longer for podcasts

All of a sudden, my scrubber bar does not move from the start position when listening to podcasts. I if touch it, it will restart the podcast, also, the progress bar does not move, and the time on the podcast stays at 0:00 even if it is playing. Regular fast forward and rewind work fine, and the scrubber bar functions normally when playing songs.

This only happens with podcasts you downloaded directly to your phone and then synced on itunes, right?

This has been a problem for me for awhile, getting the --:-- on the scrubber bar, not being able to forward through the podcast. And not just on iphone 4. It happens on my Ipad and happened on my old iphone --so its not a IOS 4 problem exclusively.
Anyway, _I have figured out a rather convoluted solution to this problem_. Bear with me, it's going to seem silly and excessive.
So... when you sync your phone/ipad to your itunes, 1st thing to do is "transfer all your purchases" (if you dont know how to do this, control-mouse click on the iphone/ipad icon when it pops up in itunes)
This will transfer all the podcasts that you had downloaded directly to your phone back to itunes.
Then (and you only have to do this once) make sure "sync podcasts" is checked off under the PODCASTS tab -- the tab related to your phone, not the PODCAST tab for the stuff on your Itunes desktop/laptop.
Then comes the really silly part. You have to manually click on any of the podcasts you want to go back to your phone. The ones you directly had downloaded on your phone and the ones you downloaded through itunes.
They will sync back to your phone and work fine, scrubber bar works now, the time is correct, it lets you fast forward etc...
I have a bunch of podcasts but probably not as many as most so its not that annoying for me to have to manually click on the ones i want back on the phone the right way. I'm sure this solution probably is too silly for those who have tons of podcasts and dont want to have to reclick on every one just because they hooked up to itunes. But it is a solution of sorts.
I"m hoping Apple will fix this little glitch at some point but until then this is what I came up with. Interested to hear if anyone has a simpler solution or if this works for other people too. Thanks.

External Microphone headset use to work... but no longer works....

When i got my MBP last year I was a heavy gamer and from November 2007 until I think like August 2008 give or take a few months I always used my headset and mic while playing online multiplayer games with no issue.
Been a few months since I tried, but today I plugged in my headphones again and my mac doesn't pick up any sound from the mic. However my headset works perfectly on my windows dell laptop.
Alot of people say it's best to just use USB headsets but since mine use to work flawlessly before, I don't understand why my MBP won't pick it up now.
My guess is one or more of the apple updates changed something that won't allow my mic to work anymore.

Hi, have the same problem with a Plantronics headset - it worked flawless in Yahoo Messenger, Skype, whatever.. both mic & headphones (plugged in sound in / sound out ports).
Maybe after installing some Leopard updates, I don't know - the mic just stopped working, not on a G4, neither on an Intel Macbook. It works though on a HP laptop!

Videodownloader add-on for years it no longer works for images. Video only. Why?

Videodownloader add on is one of the most useful tools in my work. It is imperative i 'm able to download multiple images at a time. It has worked great until 3 days ago. I went to download the page images and the VD icon did not animate. So I went to youtube and for a video and it animated. Itried reoving and reinstalling,but no good. I've looked at VD preferences and FF options and don't see anything that would cause it.

Since upgrading to 4.0.1 the email address [email protected] indicates that there is something wrong with any attachment in .pdf format. This happens when I send mail from my yahoo or aol mail accounts when using Mozilla. It does not occur if I'm using those mail accounts and Internet Explorer.

Set multi user column with PowerShell used to work in 2010 but no longer works in 2013

In SharePoint 2010 I used PowerShell to set the value of multi user people columns and it worked really well. I attempt to use the same PowerShell to set the same column type in SharePoint 2013 and it fails.
here is the PowerShell that I use in 2010:

I have used this on three SharePoint 2013 farms with differing results. On two of them I receive an error when running $item.update(): Exception calling "Update" with "0" argument(s): "Invalid look-up value. A look-up
field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again."
If I take one of the users out of the $users list then it works fine, but it will not allow multiple users to be set with PowerShell. I can use the GUI to add more than one user but not PowerShell.
Does anyone know if these methods have changed in 2013? I haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue.

Macs require line level audio in their audio input port. A microphone does not supply a line level signal unless it has an amplifier following it.

My iphone 5s screen has stopped working for no reason at all? how can i fix this?

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

Album Art works for most, but not all

I was reading previous forums on the subject, but no clear answer was given..
The album art shows up fine in itunes and my library and works for most of my music on my ipod, but how come some album's art does appear? I have it set manually and select 'Get Info' then 'Artwork' and add it from there, then drag in the finished product to my ipod. I've been doing that and it works fine for most of the albums, but every so often, the album art will not appear on my ipod. Am I doing something wrong? I take them all from the same source (amazon.com) but it makes no sense to me how some randomly don't appear.
I tried deleting the artwork and re-adding it, but nothing happened again. If you could answer why it works for most but not all or how I can get the album art to appear for the ones it will not by re-doing something, it would be appreciated. thanks.

I encountered the same problem in the beginning. When I compared the size of the original images, the working ones seemed to be smaller in general, so I reduced the size of all covers I intended to upload on the pod to 300x300 pixels.
This seemed to work - for 2 days. I bought the pod on friday, had pictures on sunday, but on Monday (after the first time the pod was fully discharged) none were left left.
So I ended searching this forum for related problems...
And decided to join my problem to this entry.

First, try the normal stuff: power cycle your modem, router, and NE allowing time for each component to stabilize before turning on the next in sequence modem > router > NE. If necessary, try resetting your modem and router. If it still doesn’t work verify it is listed in MyVerizon and then calling Verizon Wireless Customer Service at (800) 922-0204. Good luck!

It's our internal applicant tracking systems (resume database). It works fine in IE and all previous verisons of FF but in FF 7 a bubble icon pops up stating that "Please fill out this field".
The field is not required but states "Require all of these words" if you to run a search based on those parameters.
