My satelite L455-S5975 will not restore using restore discs Help please

I have a L455 that I tied to restore to the out of box state using the internal restore partition.
After starting the process mid way I received a fatal error message and the computer now doesn't reboot past the windows 7 icon before displaying another error message and only allowing me to shut the system back down.
I called the help line and they said it sounded like my hard drive crashed. I then ordered the restore discs from Acclaim and was told that after installing a new hard drive these discs would get the system back up and running and back to factory out of box status.
I ran the discs and towards the end of using the second recovery disk I received another error.
this was using the new hard drive.
I tried this twice and it didn't take.
I then put the old hard drive back in and started the restore process again.
I received this error mid way through the second disk.
10-FC12-0241
after selecting the o.k button to shut down I received this error
F3-F200-0002
again I selected the o.k. button to shut down and it did but still will not start up past the windows 7 logo.
Any idea what the issue is or what the error codes mean so that I can get the computer back up and running.

Assuming your install media isnt damaged and your hard drives are good, in order of most problematic to least, you could have an issue with your motherboard, CPU, RAM, or optical drive.
Optical drive: attatch an external optical drive (USB) and try to install from there.
RAM: If you have multiple DIMMs, pull all but one and see if it goes. If it still doesnt work, try the other one.
If you only have one DIMM module then you can either swap it out or run a full memory test using MEMTEST86.
CPU: Obtain a replacement CPU and replace it.
Motherboard: time to buy another computer.

If so you'll need to upgrade iPhoto to 9.5.1 from the App Store. It'll be a free upgrade.

Everything I download will not open... need help please

I just got my iMac G4. It is used but for the most part works fine. But I am having problems downloading. The internet explorer that was on it was not loading right so I was told to download firefox. I downloaded it everything went smooth until I tried to open it. It flickered and then nothing. I tried reinstalling my Mac OS X 10.2 but that changed nothing. So I tried downloading a few different games to see if it was just the firefox ap. But everything I tried downloading did the same thing. I checked all the system requirments and everything matches up fine.I don't know what else to try. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am using my husbands pc to get on here. My mac will open everything that was already installed on it. All of the applications open fine except internet explorer. It only peices parts of ech web site together. It still logs onto the internet just halfway loads all pages and some pages will not load at all. So My grandpa suggested firefox. But my problem is not firefox anymore. its that nothing will download right. I downloaded the application it went through the install process correctly and popped onto the desk top. I copied to my applications folder like it said. when I was done downloading I double click the icon to open and by flickering I mean it shows a square outline as if its about to open but the the outline disappears and nothing else happens. I can redownload all day anything but the same thing happens everytime. And I know the 10.2 version is older so I have been downloading what will work with the 10.2 But I also have not touched a mac for over 6 years so I don't intirly know what I doing anymore. This issue has been resolved - my Support Advisor, Edgar, was able to discern what was causing the problem.
It appears that, despite years of never experiencing this, one of the latest ipod updates actually altered my device's personal settings and changed it to "Manual" for all synchronizing; even performcing Factory Restores did not change it back to being automatic.
My ipod is working as good as ever now thanks to Edgar. If anyone else is having this problem, please make sure you check your device's settings in iTunes and see if "Manual" is checked - even if you never changed the settings yourself and have no reason to suspect that to be the problem, as was the case here. If it is checked - uncheck it to enable automatic syncing.
So relieved this was not a much more serious problem. I've missed having my music on the go. Thanks, Edgar!

Your download or install of the update may have been corrupt. Visit the Mac App Store and re-download the update or visit http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726 and download the 10.9.2 update combo and re-install.

AMDS WILL NOT INSTALL!!! HELP PLEASE

-2 iPod Touch (Late 2009) v 3.1.2
I am unable to get Apple Mobile Device Support to install on the computer. I have tried downloading the drivers for AMDS from outside websites and unzipping them into the correct folder (C>Program Files x86>Common Files>Apple) but unfortunately even unzipping this to this location does not help because of the fact that I have not merged them into the reg edit. Don't really want to do that because of the risk of dumping the whole computer. I saved the setup64.exe to the desktop and attempted to install as normal, compatibility mode(as Windows Vista w/SP2, as Admin), and in safe boot. None of which will install the AMDS. I have also attempted to install 9.0.1 64-Bit with the same luck. I have spent about 8 hours in all trying to get this work. When I attempted the install as normal the iPods were not recognized, but when I installed in compatibility mode the iPod was recognized as a digital camera in computer and device manager as a USB Mass Storage Device. So I went into Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Auto Play>Choose Take no Action, But the device still shows as a digital camera in computer because of course there is no AMDS. If i go into device manager and right click the device and select update it says the best device drivers are currently installed. Have also put the iPod touch into recovery mode and it will pop the new driver software bubbles in the bottom right but then it displays that the device drivers were not installed correctly and the more details sections advised you that the drivers did not install because AMDS is not currently installed. I think I'm at the end of the road here and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Itunes Store Will Not Open!!! Help Please

Hi everyone, I am having trouble trying to open my iTunes Store, whevever i click on it a msg keeps coming up saying, "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection was refused. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again." I have tried everything to fix it but it is not working, it is not the internet connection because i am on the internet now, I HAVE NO IDEA, please help.

Hey everyone I was having the same problem but apple sugested to completely remove itunes,quicktime and also any ipod software my computer. Not just doing an uninstall will fix the problem yu having to also go into program files and remove anything in there as well. I just did a search on itunes and quicktime and ipod and deleted all the file except the ones that say itunes libary. And then you restart and download latest itunes. and it worked I could get into the itines store again WOOO HOOOO. But wait it only lasted until the following day. since about an hour ago I am having the same problem as before. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Not happy and if you think it is just Windows it is not cause I have a friend running same on MAC and same problem.. Lets see if apple pull the finger out and fix this annoying problem...... so far they will not admit there is a problem.

Premier Pro 5.5 - Sound will not resume after pausing video - HELP PLEASE !

I have a co-worker that is having a very strange problem. After he pauses a video and tries to restart it, video works fine but the sound will not resume. This doesn't happen all the time but it does happen often.
Please help.

I just finished running all the updates for adobe and it did not find any updates for Premier Pro, so the current version I have is 5.5. I'm going to check to see if there is any update I can download from Adobe that is not been detected by adobe updater so I can upgrade to Premier 5.5.1.

This is basically a compilation error , where files are not converted into proper format correctly.

Just keeps saying unknown error ?

I have tried signing out and back in again, no joy. I have also reset the iPad as suggested. Desktop and 2netbooks are working fine on the wireless connection. Apps won't download, initially I was able to disconnect from wifi and reconnect and that would solve it but not anymore.
I am also getting an error message intermittently advising no Internet connection. This is all since the upgrade to 5.1.1 so it has messed with something.
From a google search looks like I am not alone either.

This first thing that comes to my mind is that the battery is completely drained. But you say you left it plugged in to charge over night. Was the iPad plugged in to the charger or to your computer? If it was connected to th computer try plugging it into the wall charger. Wait 30 minutes then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. But it the iPad was plugged into the wall charger overnight and it still doesn't respond, the iPad most likely has a hardware problem Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

VGA CRT will not "wake up"... help please. Reset display settings?

I have a mirror drive doors G4 Tower, Dual 1.25 GHz.
I have an ADC and a DVI out from the computer. Just had damage to my old studio display so I am attempting to use just one CRT running from the DVI... w/ a DVI to VGA adapter.
The first time I tried this w/ a CRT it worked fine... I played around w/ monitor settings... still worked fine. Shut down... unhooked CRT and moved that CRT away.
Tried using it with another CRT and the new CRT never started up... remained on stand-by/sleep.
I tried with another moniter... this time a LCD/Flatscreen... again VGA and it did the same thing, EXCEPT... this time when I connected the LCD to the adapter and then plugged the adapter into the DVI on my tower the LCD screen would turn on for about 1 second and display my login page. The picture was not perfect though... it was distorted someway.
Went back to the first CRT... now this one didn't work.
I think that maybe I have to reset my display settings with some sort of shortcut or something... maybe it's on the wrong frequency?
I don't know... any help much appreciated. I hate having to use this PC.

Can you start up in "safe mode"? If so, you can reset your display settings and reboot. If not, you have a problem either with your video card or your DVI/VGA adaptor

Windows 7 64 Bit system will not update to iTunes 7 - Help please!

I've been trying to update my iTunes since July and have been unable to do so. I think the last time I installed a version of iTunes was in May. I've tried everything and anything I could find on the web but nothing works!
I have a Windows 7 PC 64 bit laptop.
Everytime I try to update I get the error message "the installer encountered errors before the installation could be completed".
I've already tried:
- Downloading directly from apple site
- Downloading the update only then installing
- Made a new user account on my computer to try install
- Uninstalled everything and started fresh
- Disk Clean up's
- Turned off Anti-Virus
- Restarting computer and more...
Does anybody have any suggestions!? It's driving me crazy not being able to sync my iphone 4! I'm starting to think it's just not compatable...
PS - I am able to install older version of iTunes, but my iphone 4 is not compatable since i've upgraded to iOS6

I understand none of the HP drivers will fully install.
I will be happy to help you.
Are you signed in as the Administrator of the computer?
I would turn off all start up programs to make sure there isn't something blocking the printer.
Click on start, in the search box type in run, enter, then type in msconfig, click OK.
Click the Services tab.
Click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box.
Click Disable All, and then click OK.
Then click on the start up tab at the top.
Click on disable all.
Reboot the computer.
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus software.
Then run the installation again by right clicking on the setup and selecting run as Admininstrator.
Don't connect the USB cable until prompted.
Try printing now.
Then go back into msconfig and enable the All Microsoft Services and enable all on the start up tab.
Turn the Antivirus software back on again.
Please let me know the results if you are still having issues.

My phone will not back up!! help please!

Hi all!!
so ive recently updated my iphone 4 to iOS5 after several frustrating attempts, constantly coming up with some error message. this was very surprising to me and i started searching through forums after forums to see whether this issue was only happening to me, turns out that apple servers were crashing because too many people were trying to get the software update at the same time. thinking i can live without iOS5 for a few days, i ignored the problem and didnt attempt to update again a week or so later.
i tried to update the software again yet the same error occured, (-5000). after some research, i found out that this was due to some folder permission problem.. the phone failed to get past the "backing up" stage (the status bar stays at the same place). this was somewhat strange as a few days before i first attempted to update the software, my phone was sync-ing fine. i thought that, "maybe it's because my phone is new and hasnt been manually backed up before", and also have been told by friends that some times their back up takes close to an hour. so one night i left the phone "backing up" overnight hoping that in the morning it wouldve backed up, however, in the morning the status bar remain at the same position as when left it and went to sleep.
non of my friends have ever encountered such a problem and i have searched the web inside out for an answer!! one thread suggested that i uninstall itunes and reinstall it. i did to no success. another thread suggested to delete the backup file and attempt the back up again. i tried but again in vain. being very frustrated, i took a deep breath and clicked the "continue" button which restored my phone and implemented the software update thinking this problem will alleviate itself. after getting iOS5 and having my phone restored to factory settings, i had to put back all my songs, contacts, photos apps etc etc. i then proceeded to back up my phone under the new OS hoping something along the lines of completely restoring will never happen again. however, the exact same error message poped up!!
PLEASE HELP!! i have no idea how this situation arose. i havent done anything out of the ordinary except for this one time where i charged my phone on a friend's laptop a day prior my first attempt at updating the software, the phone simply charge for around 2 hours and didnt sync at all. any help will be greatly appreciated

sync-ing shouldn't have anything to do with other people sycn-ing does it?
also whenever the status bar or the backup stops, itunes seems to stop working aswell and freeze. this is again frustrating as i have to go to task manager to close itunes and start it up again

Thank you, Installed as suggested, took ages as I have an exremely slow broadband connection via sky. Did'nt get any error messages except error in win sys 32\nvsc.dll missing entry nvscstart. Looked in control panel, the file Adobe Flash Player active X is there as is Flash10e.ocx in the add ons under shockwave Flash object(tools/manage add ons) but still flash does not work in either u-tube or BBC iplayer-or anywhere else?
I have Avast as a virus checker and Mcafee could this be a problem?
did'nt quite get using 'download manager'changes anything?
