My Scan To Email displays an error message 'There was an internal processing error. Please retry or manually check the firmware updates. '
I have retried many times and nothing happens on the all.
This application worked very well a few weeks ago.

I suggest you to check the Firmware Updates first, Scan to email will get affected if the firmware update is turned off.
you can go to printer setup, turn on the firmware update option.

iMovie message "There was an internal iDVD error during the last action. This is not a movie." comes up after trying to create a movie to burn to iDVD. Recently added a 2TB external drive to free up memory from HD. iDVD was working fine till the ED was added. Can't burn DVDs anymore. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
What folders did you move to the EHD? Any of the basic Home folders? What format is the EHD? It should be OS X Extended (journaled). Do you have any files that iDVD uses on the EHS, i.e. project files, media files?

Very hard to say with so little info. Did You do any trouble-shooting ?
• Movie in iMovie has same fps (NTSC or PAL) as the iDVD project - must be
• Trashing iMovie and iDVD pref files so that new error free one is made on next start-up
• Run Repair Permissions (Disk Util tool)
• Run Repair Hard Disk (Disk Util tool - but now You must start Mac from DVD or external hard disk - can't do brain surgery on one self)
What material did You use
• Video Codec
• Photo format
• Audio file types

My iMac suddenly restarted on its own, saying there was a problem. When I saw that, I noticed iPhoto was "finding discrepancies and is now rebuilding my entire library." Am currently repairing permissions and running Intego virus scan. Ideas? Thanks...RalphThanks Kirk and Thomas....I did appear to have a kernel panic. The contents of the panic are shown below. I used disc permissions repair on the internal and external drives and all seem to be ok. iPhoto is completely rebuilt and all is well there. Ok 1st one. The warning restriction message relates to this line in main.cf:
smtpd_helo_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated permit_mynetworks check_helo_access hash:/etc/postfix/helo_access reject_non_fqdn_hostname reject_invalid_hostname permit reject_invalid_helo_hostname
The last reject occurs after the single word "permit" and is ignored.
However, that's not the problem.
I'm not exactly sure what's happening, but this might be a clue.
It would appear that either postfix is not being able to create the socket for private/policy or it's somehow created with the wrong permissions. You might need to ramp up the debug level to get a better idea.
You could check if it's being created by "netstat -a | grep private/policy" in terminal.
My guess is that it's not being created because there is no setup statement in your master.cf file, but I don't understand why postfix would be looking for it if it isn't set up. Private/policy I think relates to grey listing. Maybe gives you a hint. -
Help, I had aperture open and working on a image and did not have a battery in and bumped the power off. As a result it will not open my master, it is locked. when I try to open that Library it says There was an error opening the database for the library. I have tried every thing. I updated the other libr but now it will not open the main to update. What do I do?
Try starting Aperture with the command and option keys held down. You'll get 3 options.
Try each, starting at the top, in order, checking after each to see if it fixes the issue. -
when i click on an excel or word file in 2007 the program begins to open but then an error message says There was a problem sending the command to the program.

Have you try to un-select the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
check box in the General area.
Click OK.
If the problem cannot resolve, the Run as administrator may selected.
Go to Office default install location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Right-click EXCEL.EXE > Properties >
Compatibility tab.
Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator
check box.

I'm trying to install iTunes on my computer running Windows 7 Home Premium. Natalie.I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides.
