My school is not listed

Hi! I wanted to get access to creative cloud with a student discount but I cannot find my school on the list (Community College of Allegheny County, 15223). Why is it so?

I have notified the team who handles adding schools. For now you can sign up and choose "home school". Later when asked to verify your educational status just provide the information requested.

FIX Student Deals Site for Schools Not Listed

A common issue that is occuring with the new student deals site, is that a student's school won't appear on the list and seeing as that is a required deal, this makes them ineligble for the savings. A few schools I have seen this with so far: Texas Southmost College, The Art Institute of San Antonio and Houston Baptist University. There should be a backdoor process where if the school is not on the list, they can still go to the Sheer ID verification site and upload the requested documentation to qualify for the promotion; Otherwise, you risk walking these students to their local campus stores which are also offering student deals and promotions or the OEM's who have also been known to offer Back to School targeted offers to students.

I have wondered about this in the past. If a school is not listed it is often most likely because nobody at the school would or could respond to verify that it is so. It may also be that some schools do not want to be on such a list because they in turn sell the products themselves at their school store and would rather have you buy from them.

scanned and uploaded ID's can easily be faked and not verified. I think the better method is the requirement that studen use a school email address.

I cannnot find my school listed to get the student price for the creative cloud. It is a local community college. Southwest Tennessee Coummunity College in Memphis, TN.

The usual advice from Adobe is to select Home School from the list as a workaround.

University of Waterloo not listed as an Institution for student version.

Hi, hopefully I am posting in the right place, but University of Waterloo, which is a major accredited university in Canada (basically the MIT of Canada for those American's out there) is not listed as a possible choice for signing up for student version of adobe creative cloud (which is particularly strange because local elementary schools are listed). How or who do I contact to rectify this?

If not listed under "Known Affected Releases", is it considered "Confirmed Not Vulnerable"?

I have a hard time believing only this version of UCS is vulnerable... Since there is no distinction to identify versions "Confirmed Not Vulnerable"; If the version is not listed under "Known Affected Releases", does it mean it is not vulnerable or could it also mean it wasn't tested/verified?

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

My ipod touch is not list as a device on itunes. When I tried do update itunes, I get a ox8007054f error code and the update will not complete.

Media Encoder CC not listed in the list of app in CC

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and I am a Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams member. I'm trying to install the new version of Media Encoder, but when i open Creative Cloud app it is not listed in the long list of apps. I have CS6 and CC installed on my computer.
Can you offer some suggestion how i can download and install this program?
I am trying to convert a mov file to webm and i am hoping Media Encoder CC can do that since I did not see a webM choice in media encoder cs6.

I am unable to send mail on my IPad because the iPad ignores the single correctly configures outgoing server and instead looks for long since deleted outgoing server which is not listed in my settings at all.

Some time ago I used to use an outgoing mail server, which I will call 'XYZ'. However I changed email providers and now have a new outgoing server which I will call 'ABC'. I tried deleting that old outgoing server when I changed email providers but had problems doing so. So what I did was completely delete all email accounts from my iPad and then reinstalled the two new email accounts from scratch, complete with the new outgoing server 'ABC'. That appeared to be successful, and I can receive email OK. Also the new server 'ABC' is the ONLY outgoing server listed in my settings on either account
However despite the new server being the only one in my settings the iPad will not send mail and shows an error message saying that the settings for the OLD server 'XYZ' are incorrect. I cannot amend or delete that server as it has already been deleted and is not listed in my settings.
It is like the iPad is somehow still remembering that old server and thinks it's the primary one. Or it's getting old server info fron iCloud or something.
My iPhone has the same two email accounts and identical settings and does not have this issue.
Any ideas, other than a complete factory reset?

HT204074 How do you delete a song off your ipad that is not listed on the itunes song list?

Some songs came already loaded with my new ipad air that I hate and want to delete but can't locate the directory where they reside. I downloaded a file manager app but it only had the option to add new folders, not access the one's already on the ipad. I signed up for icloud and even bought itunes match at the direction of a blog someone wrote as a way to access the icloud song list and delete the songs. I deleted the album purchase (that I never made in the first place) listed in the purchase section of iTunes. The songs are not listed on my PC version of itunes so I can't delete them from there (right click and choose delete). They are only on the ipad itself. Why is it so difficult to simply remove a file from your ipad? Is there a way to delete these songs or am I stuck with them on my ipad music list? I reset the entire setup thinking it would erase everything on my ipad but that didn't work either. Please advise. Thanks.

Does it play on the iPad?
What happens when you swipe it left and fight? You should get a Delete or Remove button. If Remove then there will be a cloud icon by the song after you remove the sound file from the iPod.

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.

Our company uses SCCM 2007 and we don't really have an SCCM officer here. I kind of try to get things done by googling a lot but for this i can't find a a solution so i open a thread.
I'm a newbie to SCCM 2007 so I don't know if i'm about to ask a dumb question but here I go.
I'm trying to pull out a report for the count of computers that run a desktop version of our Ticketing Tool.
I found the perfect standard report for this in SCCM 2007 which is: Count of instances of specific software registered with Add or Remove Programs.
in there i have to set two values: 1) the software that i'm willing to count, 2) the collection in which to search.
for value number 2 I have no problems.
my problem is in value number 1. When I click the value button to list all known software, he lists all software in a alphabetic way. problem is that it stops at letter "I"... the software i'm looking for starts with an O so it's not listed.
also if I type the software and then click Values... it replies that it couldn't find the software.
am I doing something wrong?

it sound like you are using the filter option with in the old and "crappy" ASP reports. first you should stop using then and only use the SSRS reports. secondly the filter option will only show the first 1000 rows, there is a reg key to
allow it to show more.

Printing to Shared Windows Printer (printer not listed)

I have an iMac with an intel processor running Leopard 10.5.2.
I have a Canon iP1800 connected to a windows xp PC and I am wanting to print to this printer over my network.
I can see the printer no problem and Mac OS will let me connect to it but my printer is not listed in the driver list.
I have been on Canons website and downloaded the correct driver thats supposed to work with Leopard but even once I have installed this the printer still does not appear in the list.
I'm sure this world work if I could only point Mac OS to the location of the printer driver.
So my question is, how do I get my printer to appear in the list? or is there another way of doing this.

When you say it doesn't show up for windows printing what do you mean?
When I go to add a printer by clicking the + button I then select windows and the printer shows up there fine but when I click on the drop down menu print using, select a driver to use this is where it doesn't show up. Is this what you mean?
If so I have been on the Gutenprint website but my printer is not listed. If I install the latest version would this work for me? What would I select in the print using drop down menu?
