another. It more then likley will not be a warranty
issue. You can call or go online and request repair,
but in most cases it is because of user caused
conditions.
But it is not hard to get one replaced or even to do
it yourself. There are several third party sites

Or you can like I said do it yourself. You can

My Apple TV stalled during an update and now just shows an image of it being plugged into a USB. It won't complete the update and does nothing when I plug it into my Mac via USB.

2 Apple TVs. The first won't reboot, it stalled during an update and now shows a picture of a UBS plug. Ive tried to plug into my computer, nothing happens. At a standtill.
The second Apple TV works but only if I send something via Airplay. The remote no longer has any affect. The light on the front of the Apple TV blinks when I push a buttom on the remote but nothing happens.

Ok, with itunes open on the pc, plug one end of the usb cord into the computer, but not connected to the ipad.
now, press the power button on the ipad until it turns off.
Then, press and hold the home button on the ipad at the same you plug the usb cord into the ipad. DON'T LET GO OF THE HOME BUTTON.
Keep holding the home button until you see the recovery mode message pop on the itunes window.
When that happens, you should now be able to restore.

Updated Iphone and now just showing an unknown error (14)

I updated the most recent update for my iphone. Once it had finished updating, it came up with an unknow error. My iphone is just showing the sign saying i should plug it into itunes. it tells me i need to restore. i restore it and it just says the error again. i can restore it on my sisters laptop but it means i dont have any of my own numbers or mesages or pictures. i need all of this. can anyone help?

when you tried to restore the iphone the first time it deleted every thing off the iphone. every time you sync, it destroys the old back up, and then makes a new backup. if you can get the iphone up and running you can try to put the back up back on. But the backup may be damaged too.
Also have you checked your computer to see if any of the data is stored else where? (address book, ical, iphoto, itunes)

I assume this is due to the fact that system detects your internal monitor as default one, and that is there where system sends main data. In order to force system send data to the external monitor, get a mouse and physical keyboard, close MB lid, and then press any key on the external keyboard.
when you get there, go to system preferences/display, and manually move the Apple upper bar to the external monitor, then choose mirror; ultimately, set optimal resolution.

I would suggest you try to update your iOS 8.0.2 to the latest iOS 8.1.0 with iTunes on your computer. Don't try to do the update on your iPhone, it takes time and some error always occur. After updating to iOS 8.1.0, if your iPhone can't restart properly, try Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS trial version. It will say that your iPhone is not in normal mode, offering you the option 'restart the device'. Just click the button to let your iPhone restart.

No no, if you read what I said, it would be that each individual display would be customizable to the user. The way you have it, it sounds like your second display will be dedicated to scrolling through fullscreen apps not allowing you to do it on the home screen. This is silly because with my concept, you could do that, by dragging apps to fullscreen in your second display, but if you want you could tell another display to scroll through fullscreen apps (independently) if you wanted. Each display will have it's own mission control with it's own set of desktops. I also can see how some people would still want them linked together, so this could just be a little check box made in mission control prefs to "link" or "unlink" desktops with link checked by default.
With your solution you're limited to your setup. but what if the person has three or four displays? Well then your solution would limit them to one dedicated display that scrolls through fullscreen apps where mine lets a person customize their desktops depending on their preference and setup.
further example: if you have safari, address book and mail in one display, you could still have ichat, PS and Illustrator in your second, and a text editor, FTP Client and iTunes in your third. Then you would mix and match these apps but it would promote the use of mulitple displays as well as benefit people with three or more, which thunderbolt, Cinema Display and Pro computers support.

There is also a horrible red colour that appears in the background of photobooth and parts of Safari. The screen saver looks like an alien life form with red in the background. There are odd translucent colours in the background of other applications including MS Office. It looks like a horrible psychedilic trip from the 60's. I ran the upgrade again but nothing changed. Backup your files off the computer (not TimeMachine) and disconnect.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk, under the Utilities menu > Disk Utiltiy > Repair Disk, and Repair Permissions
(quit and stop if Disk Repair (only) issues a failure and notify us)
Quit and install 10.6 again, reboot and Software Update again, this time download it and then run it. Check Software Update until clear.
c boot off the 10.6 disk and use Disk Utility >Repair Disk again (fixes a bug)
Reboot and check any installed programs, some may not function who have installed kext files into OS X, those need to be reinstalled.
You didn't mention if you upgraded from 10.5 or 10.6.7, the above steps are for fixing a 10.6 to 10.6.8
If you upgraded from 10.5, you should erase the drive in Disk Utility first, then install 10.6 fresh, but then all your programs will have to be reinstalled or updated from original sources.
Also the 10.6.3 upgrade disk has no free iLife, but you can install 10.5 fresh then upgrade to 10.6.3, then to 10.6.8 and then all new programs and that will give free iLife that came on the factory 10.5 disks.
You also can use Pacifist to extract iLife from 10.5 disks.

Some stores will allow returns if it was purchased within 30 days or 2 weeks of the release date. It varies from store to store. But since the new release was on the 23rd of October, you're a few days over the 30 day frame and out of luck.

Like lllaass said, bring it back to them. But, never ever, bring an iOS device to anyone for repairs except Apple. That voids your warrenty.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad
