I had my phone in my bikini bottoms, like on the side of them, and i pulled it out and it was covered in sweat. (gross i know) but now the screen won't brighten up no matter what i do. D:

Might have got a little water in.
Try this:
1. Restore the phone via iTunes. Fixes a lot of issues
2. If that doesn't work, keep the phone somewhere warm and dry for a few days to make sure any water is out of it. Then try another restore.
Given that it's minus 9 centigrade here (= about 16 F) I'm struggling a bit with the whole concept of beachwear

I am using XP and the path to the folder is as follows:

However, I can't figure out how to "set the permissions". Is this possible in XP? Could someone please elaborate.
I am only interested in changing the tips (in the lower right corner that lead you to photoshop.com) in the Editor, since I do not use the Welcome Screen or Organizer.

When phone screen goes off and turned on the running app closes. Why ?

I just bought drakes new album and one of the songs only plays the first verse, until like 1:20, then it goes to the next song. What can i do?

Delete the track from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track file to the Trash. Then download the track again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:

HT3924 Adjusting the brightness doesn't work

This article states "Use the keyboard of the iMac in TDM to adjust display brightness" but this does nothing. It can adjust the sound but the brightness keys don't do anything. The display stays at full brightness.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I figured it out! You can only adjust the brightness if you are logged in on the iMac. So you have to unplug the external card or MacBook, log in, then plug it back in. Then you can adjust the brightness until the screen saver comes on...

I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or if those do not work - quit Safari

That sounds like a kernel panic. These are generally hardware related, often caused by poorly seated or fauly RAM.

works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1). Try again. with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only. (you cannot get rid of the subject) with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.

Sometimes my screen starts to move on my iMac. It's like it's trying to turn the page and it gets off center and the mouse doesn't work when it happens. It usually lasts about 15 seconds or so and happens often.

Sometimes the screen on my imac starts to shake like it it trying to "go to the next page". When this happens it usually freezes up for 15 seconds or so and the mouse doesn't work.

Have you tried a hard reset of the iPod to see if that helps? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, work through each of the troubleshooting suggestions in this Apple support document as necessary.
