My screen image is magnified to the fullest and will not shrink down to normal screen size. How can I fix this?

My iPod Touch screen has magnified itself. The image is so large I can not see it and it will not shrink back down to normal size. Is there a way I can fix this?

From the Home screen double tap with three fingers to zoom out.  Then head to Settings -> General -> Accessibility and turn off Zoom.
