Is it possible to get a replacement UK iPhone 5 while abroad?

My iPhone 5 has a badly cracked display. As I'm out of the UK at the moment, I took it for a Genius Bar appointment in the USA. They told me it wasn't possible to get a replacement from them, and I would need to contact Apple in the UK to find out if I could get a replacement shipped to me.
Before I spend money on expensive international phone calls, does anyone know if it's possible to do this? Are there any other ways I can get my screen fixed or phone replaced while I'm out of the UK?

Apple has bee pretty emphatic about the warranty/country restriction. Adding to that dilemma is a broken screen...Apple does not fix that but replaces the whole iPhone as an out-of-warranty replacement. For an iPhone 5, that cost is $229 in the US...not sure about the cost in the UK.
Can the UK store ship a replacement? That would have to be discussed with the UK store, perhaps from a US store if you could get a "Genius" to be on the line and confirm the status, etc. not sure if that would work but might be worth a try if you are desperate to get the iPhone replaced while here. Consider shipping time/customs, and so on.
Just some thoughts on this problem.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Yes. Take it to an Apple Store. There are 3rd party repair places that can replace the screen for less $$, however, any remaining Apple warranty will be voided.

If you want the iPhone in a different color, you can buy one at full retail price. The $299 price is subsidized from your carrier and you will be very unlikely to qualify for another subsidized device.

You will have to take it to an Apple store genius bar and see what hey say...if it has been like this a while they may find damage that makes it an out of warranty issue...that is a $229 replacement in the US.

Hello Ronei,
No need to make a copy of the FBL5N to have the profit center in the list.
You can have it in the ALV Layout.
Select profit center in the Hidden fields column and pass it to left hand side column.
Save as a Display Variant.
Next time when you run the FBL5N, select your display variant in the last frame "List Output".
