How can I get things off of my computer and onto my new one if the old computer's screen wont work?

You can only access photo stream photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud (even though they may be on your device). To do this, set up iCloud on your computer as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html, check Photos, click Options and check My Photo Stream.
If the photos were in your camera roll when you last backed it up, restoring the backup to a replacement iPhone should recover them. If the backup is an iCloud backup, be sure to do this soon as Apple will delete the backup after 180 days. -
Why won't it recognize?

I had the same problem and when I went to Settings I had 0 songs, even though they were obviously still there since I only had 15GB free on my 64GB device.
I decided to do a complete reset/restore of my 4th gen iPod Touch, Bad move! I've been messing with it for hours, and it simply won't restore--it keeps hanging on a black screen with an Apple logo and a progress bar at about 10%, sometimes it goes completely blank and tries again, with the same result. I'm ready to bang my head against the wall! I can put the device in recovery mode, connect to iTunes on my computer, and get it back to the setup screen, but when I go through the process again and try to do an iCloud backup I get the same reset/restore loop.
I could start from scratch, but I really, really, really don't want to go through all of my hundreds of apps, reinstall them one by one, etc. etc. etc.
I thought that once I started using iCloud, I didn't need to sync with iTunes anymore--guess I was wrong. -

You cannot get warranty or out of warranty service in India on a US purchased phone. The warranty on the iPhone is not international.

There is no exchange program. If the damage was caused by the user, it also wouldn't be covered by any warranty, so your best bet is to try to sell it as is or get it fixed and then sell it or keep using it. Some resellers will accept trade ins - I know this company accepts trade ins, but it may just be Macs, not iDevices - you can check though:

so my ipod touch screen is broken, and whenver i try to unlock the ipod screen, all that i can see is the top right hand corner of my ipod, and the rest is all whited out. Also, the jack which support the headphones to stay in place, one of the balls in the jack is pushed in which causes the headphones and stereo jack to slip all the time. I also have a problem which is when i try to sync my ipod to itunes. Last time i did it(which was 4 years ago), i synced my ipod and i started out with 225 songs, after the syncing process was complete, i ended up with 119 songs. I'm afraid to resync my ipod or back up my ipod to a computer because i dont want to lose the wonderful collection of 589 songs i have now. I'd really appreciate it if i got some feedback. Thanks.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

Depends, if you've synced with this iTunes, while that passcode was enabled, you won't be prompted to enter the passcode when connecting your phone. If you have not synced, while that passcode was enabled, you will. So, if you fall in the later, there is no way to do what you want.

If your phone is locked because you entered passcode wrong too many times then you need to restore as new and data will be lost

Okay, so what is the problem? Are you asking about making a backup or something else? Are you saying the screen is damaged beyond use, so you cannot enter your passcode? If that is the case, there is nothing you can do about it. If you cannot enter the passcode, you will no be able to create a backup, or sync your data to iTunes.

i dont think i backed up my photos to my pc.the right side of my screen is broken and i dont have my passcode while my phone is in recovery mode. my pc says to restore so i can get into itunes. if i didn't backup my photos will i lose them all?? how do i back them up at this point???? please help
