What do you do if your iPad screen freezes and it wont do anything? Home and off buttona wont work!

Have you tried both together for a Reset? Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

Is it the Home button that doesn't work, or the Power (Sleep/Wake) button? If the Power button works, you can switch it off. Not sure how you have been able to do anything without the Home button working?

You can right-click on the "Home" button and choose "Customize," then drag all of the icons (including Home and Reload) to where you want them.

I have a US iPhone and I am in the UK, I had a problem with the battery and got it replaced in a UK Apple store but then I start having a shut down and reboot ...when I called the customer service they said we can't give the UK options since it is a US product!! If you are a US customer, try forcing all applications to close and power cycle the device. Test accessing iTunes Radio after processing these steps. I would also make sure cellular data is enabled for iTunes.

Your problem has some similarities to this problem that I reported earlier this month that that still arises every few days. I was thinking that my problem was related to some sort of bug in Entourage, but maybe it's something else...

Quite frequently when swiping the screen or opening/ closing a sessio, the phone will switch off or screen go blank . When rebooting using the home/ on-off 10 sec technique , the battery will show red (need to charge)
Re booting fails to work unless I plug in to a power source, phone then come alive , often showing batt life of 65% plus

You may have a bad battery. If you take it to an Apple store they can test it. But first you can try to recalibrate the battery gauge. Run the battery down until the phone shuts off and doesn't restart, then charge for 4 hours with a wall charger (regardless of whether the phone shows 100% before that). Ideally, repeat the discharge/charge cycle. If the problem persists you have a hardware problem, most likely the battery.

This happens to all the time and this is what I normally do. (Press and hold the pwer button until the computer shuts down) but, this doesn't seem to answer the real issue. Its just like you cut of the power to shut it down.
