My computer screen is huge. It is not fitting on to the screen. When I try to read e-mails or anything I must move the page to see all it has. How do I get it back to a normal size page?

I'm not sure why you would be posting that on an iMac forum. While an iMac and iPhone have a lot in common they have totally different OS's. Please post on the iPhone forum and please don't attempt to threadjack this thread.

  • I AM STUCK WITH MOZILLA FIREFOX / NOT SHOWN ON MY LAPTOP SCREEN / USING HUGE AMOUNT OF RAM IN GENERAL - CAN YOU HELP????

    Hi,
I have copied these problem on you site, as I could explain better then what they did, wich my problem remain the same as they have. And part me explaining what is really happen to my Laptop.
''Mozilla/Firefox 4 will not SHOW on my computer SCREEN.
Firefox won't load onto my computer. I have Windows 7, and each time I try to run the program to install it, it tells me I have another version still waiting to be installed that requires my computer to reboot. When I check "yes" to reboot, my computer reboots but still no Firefox. When I try to uninstall the the old Mozilla program from my Control Panels, there is no Mozilla files or programs listed not in my list of programs but when I go directly to the Windows File on the C: Drive, there's a Mozilla program file there. WHen I go into that file check, I attempt to open the uninstall program. I get an error message that says something to the effect of: "the version Mozilla on this computer is not compatable with my OS." Something about it being and 86bit program. My Firefox 3.6 worked fine 2 days ago. What's wrong??? ''
'''Firefox 4 using huge amounts of RAM on sites with Java scripts
I have been observing Firefox using huge amount of RAM when I am on sites that use Java Scripts to rotate images. I have tried a couple of different sites and have monitored the RAM usage. With Java script enabled Firefox 4 continues to grow its RAM usage by about 10MB a minute. I have had the usage hit as high as 1.5GB. As a comparison I have monitored the same sites in Internet explorer and have not seen the same issue. - Just to eliminate a site issue.
Turning off Java Script solves the issue and eventually frees the RAM.
I am using XP Pro, 3 GB RAM. '''''
    My experince with Mozilla Firefox:
Here what really happen when I install the Mozilla Firebox on my La[top you can see the file is there but when I click the program to open its does not shown on the screen but when I check with WTM (Windows Task Manager) its shows that is ON and you can only witness the laptop going very slow and I have to reboot it, and I can not install any other Mozilla :( because of the same problem and all the above.
I really need Mozilla to work as soon as possible due to important deadlines I have pendent, and i can only use Chrome but is not my ideal program. Can you help me , please ?????

If it opens in safe mode, you may have a problematic add-on. Try the procedure in the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.

  • The Picture on the Screen is Huge, how to I get it back to normal?

The picture on the screen of my ipod is huge.  my daughter was playing a game and now I can't turn off or even get screen back to normal.

This is asked and answered often.  The forum search bar is on the right side of this page.
It is also covered in the manual (Zoom Feature):
iPod touch User Guide (For iOS 4.3 Software)
    Double tap with three fingers.

    Hi pizzamanvin,
Sounds like you have Zoom on. Double tap three fingers on the screen to put it back to normal size. You can turn off Zoom altogether by going to Settings>General>Accessibility, and turn off Zoom.

  • My iphone4s is "frozen".  Can't shut off; screen shows huge text size.  How do I get it to work?

I can't remember what I had done when this problem happened early this morning.  But it is stuck on the login screen; however the text is huge and I can't even move to the correct numbers to log in.  When I press the power off button, nothing happens.
Thanks for any and all assistance.

Yikes! Let's make sure to get your phone back to size and working, Ruffian1950. It sounds like you have Zoom enabled (with a double-tap of three fingers your screen can zoom in or out). To turn Zoom off after you double-tap again, go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom. With your screen too large, you won't see the Slide to Turn Off at the top trying the power button. To restart your phone while zoomed in, try pressing and holding the power and home key at the same time for about 20 seconds.

  • Items on screen are huge!

this morning when my alarm went off I couldn't turn it off because I couldn't see the bar on the bottom of the screen. Everything is HUGE. Cant answer the phone because I can't get to bottom of screen. Tried going to settings to change font size or something - but the phone is impossible to use. I power off and when I power back on things desktop is right size for a split second. I tried restoring to factory settings and still nothing. HELP!! Red T.

It is the zoom feature and is covered in the manual:
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_iOS4_UserGuide.pdf
    Page 245:
    "Zoom
Many iPhone apps let you zoom in or out on specific elements. For example, you can
double-tap or use the pinch gesture to expand webpage columns in Safari.
Zoom is also a special accessibility feature that lets you magnify the entire screen of
any app you’re using, to help you see what’s on the display.
Turn Zoom on or off: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the
    Zoom On/Off switch.
Note: You cannot use VoiceOver and Zoom at the same time.
Zoom in or out: Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is
magnified 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-
and-drag gesture, described below), iPhone automatically returns to that magnification
when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
Increase magnification: With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the
screen (to increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease
magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t
lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. Once you
start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.

  • Ios 8.2 screen is huge

I have downloaded the new update IOS 8.2 and now my icons are huge!  I cannot even go to setting to change the size.  I am not even sure if it can be fixed.  Help!

You probably want to go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off so this won't happen again.

  • Imac screen suddenly becomes HUGE while in Safari??? Help???

I recently purchased a 27 inch IMac. I am running Safari 6.0.5 and OS 10.8.4. Everything is going fine and then suddenly the screen goes HUGE  and I have to shut down Safari and relaunch it frequently losing whatever i was working on.  I tried double clicking with on finger, double clicking with 2 fingers, as well as cursing at the computer without any success. The smart-zoom on my mouse says that if you double click with one finger this will go away but it is lying!!
This has become a pain in the A**.  Any suggestions or ideas. i am sure I am not the only one with this problem!!

I understand you can turn smart zoom off if it cause too many problems for you,go to  System Preferences/Mouse and uncheck smart zoom

Thank you for your help. :(
Don't be disappointed in Apple products. I have the very same iMac, and I'm loving it. I can't get enough of it. It's fast. The screen is huge. And I haven't had a single issue.
You just had horrible luck. Apple will make it right for you. They'll probably ship you a new one overnight (if they have that kind of thing in the UK, which I presume is your location based upon your currency).

  • IPod touch  3rd Generation screen is very odd after updating

I just updated my hardware on my iPod touch 3rd Gen. and the screen is HUGE! It's like it doubled in size. Is there any way to fix this problem? I have tried to restore the iPod but it did the same thing when I restarted it. Thanks for your help!!

If you can't reach settings, do this:
Zoom in or out: Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-and-drag gesture, described below), iPod touch automatically returns to that magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
