My screen is shattered. What can I do?

I just bought a iPad 2 and now the corner of my screen is shattered and was not even dropped. I asked where I bought it
and was told there is nothing I can do to fix it. Any suggestions?

Try resetting your iPhone by holding the sleep button and the Home button until you see the Apple logo.
If that doesn't do it, try restoring it.

I was on the internet when the screen suddenly became darker.I can type words and retun to the start page of my ipad2 but I cannot use google either safari.I cheked my connection to the internet and it was fine.Also I when Itouch the screen while I am on the internet nothing happens!!!What happened and what can Ido to fix this?My ipad2 is new i have used it only a few times.Please Help I am not an expert!!!Thank you very much for your time!

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Hold down on the sleep button until the red slider appears - slide to the right to shut off. To power up again, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Try Safari again.
You can reset your network settings. Go to Settings>General>reset Network Settings. Restart the iPad as described above, go to Settings>WiFi>select Your Network Name and then enter your password and see if you can connect to the internet.
You can also close open apps. Double tap the home button and your recent apps appear in the task bar. Tap and hold down on one of the app icons until they all begin to wiggle. Then tap the minus signs in the left corner of all of the apps to close them. Tap the screen outside of the task bar. Restart the iPad like I described above.
You can also reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons - try Safari again.

What do you mean by you "cleaned" it?

If you can boot into Safe Mode, try clearing off some space while booted there.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
