My screen resolution for iPod touch got out of spec. Looks like iPad sized

Tonight I was updating about 5 apps (not sure which ones) and all of sudden something changed my screen resolution on my iPod Touch. The icons look to now be sized for an iPad. I can no longer actually access anything on my iPod as nothing fits on my screen.
As you one can imagine I am very annoyed.
Any ideas?

Pretty much any of them made for an iPod 5 will protect the screen from scratches, it's more personal preference. I personally use a Survivor case by Griffin. It's a little bulky but it offers protection for the entire iPod not just the screen. The rubberized back and sides protect against drops and falls, (cracked screens) and the port covers keep muck and moisture out of the charging and headphone ports. I have beat the snot out of it and so far so good. Just note some cases are waterproof like the Survivor (will keep most water off your iPod, spills, rain, snow) and some are watertight like Lifeproof Fre (drop it in the toilet-- happens more than you'd think-- or go swimming with it and it's still dry provided the seals are working). Best album artwork resolution for iPod touch?

Hi all
While I'm anxiously awating for my touch to arrive, I've been trying to fill in the missing album art of my music. I'd like to know what's the best resolution to get them displayed on the touch. I don't want to put huge artwork into my iPod so it doesn't take up too much space, but I don't want it to be so small that I can't properly enjoy it.
I really don't care about how the artwork looks like on iTunes, I just care about how it looks like on the touch.
What do you guys think?

Personally, I find that 500x500px looks great on my 1920x1200 display AND my iPods, including the touch. This way, the album art looks perfect on both.
I find most of my good-quality artwork at Amazon.com of all places. What they don't have (and it is not much), I find by searching in Google and then by clicking on "images" at the top. Narrow it down further by selecting "Medium" or "Large" in the "Images: Showing" drop-down box. FYI, make sure to get a photo that is a perfect square when possible; it is a personal pet-peeve of mine to be flipping through Cover Flow and seeing misshapen album covers...I replace them immediately.

App tab for Ipod touch grayed out

For somw odd reasen my Ipod touch had only ever let me sync my apps once, ever since then the apps tab has been a gray colour and I can't suync any new apps. I can neither select, nor diselect 'Sync Apps'. I have no clue why it does this, and yes both my Ipod and my Itunes are up-to-date

   3.after that click on create account
   4. if you have a itune account then dont create account
   5.create e mail adress and password
   6.after that you could download any app on ipod with the e mail adress and password you created for itunes account

The screen of my iPod touch got some problems.

When I touch the left half of my iTouch, wrong places will respond instead of the intended ones. But the right half of it is working correctly. Whart's wrong with my iTouch?

How to clean the dust inside the screen of the iPod Touch?

Hi everybody,
lately some dust entered inside the screen of my iPod Touch.
At first it looked like one or two pixels were gone bad, but it is just some annoying dust.
The problem is that I cannot figure out any way to remove it.
I tried a gentle blow from the connector hole but the result was worse.
Any idea on how to clean the screen inside?
I hope it is not necessary to go to an Apple Center and pay for the "cleaning service".

It sounds safe to use

Check the directions on the back... also check the contents. Normally anything like that will inform you of contaminants harmful to delicate electrical devices.
If its just compressed air make sure you keep the can well back from the source.. and unplug the G5 (take it somewhere you don't mind dust.. there no point doing this in situe, just for it to suck it back in again!)
Also.. as mentioned.. keep the can upright (as the air is decompressed the can gets very cold)

Hello everybody, I made this new thread beacuse I have a dust and lint (the lint its like a little little hair, and i can also see it with the screen on) under the screen of my ipod touch 2G. So, I would like to know what is done in these cases?

'film shield'? is that something you've put on it yourself? if it is, I would remove it and either re-apply or leave it without (i messed up putting my screen protector on when i got it, loads of air bubbles, i just took it off and left it, a year later and my ipod is still fine). i dont think apple will do anything with something you have done yourseld.

Looking for specific case for iPod touch to

I saw this awesome case for an iPhone, it was pretty thick, made of rubber I think. The feature that blew me away was that in the back panel of the case was a place to wind up the ear phone cord, and two notches for the ear buds to snap in, and they seemed pretty flush with the case when in them. Even though it was for an iPhone I was curious if they had one for iPod touch, I couldn't find anything like it in the Apple Store. Does anyone know the one I'm describing?

I browsed the iFix web site. Nowhere does it specifically state they are an AASP and usually places that are will make that immediately obvious. Their FAQ mostly mentions how to set up a franchise and does not state that repairs made by them will not void any Apple warranty. Apple is very particular about anybody working on their devices and if they detect somebody else has worked on a device (even if they do a good job) they could refuse to even look at a device again (warranty or not) in their shop. I'm not passing judgement on other companies, I'm just observing this so the OP knows in advance.

The underlined clause could be interpreted by Apple to be any sign of anybody else having worked on a device. This isn't just Apple. If somebody is going to warranty a service then they want to make sure they are not also covering anything that might have been caused by somebody else working on the device previously.

Do not turn on or charge until dry. Dry by placing the iPod in a sealed container of uncooked rice for at least as week and change the rice daily. Then
- Try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the article again.
- If still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
It "got worse" since it takes some time for the water to have an effect. The iPod may or may not work after it is dry.

unless you have apple care which even that probably doesnt cover water damage. youre gonna need to buy a new screen. probably set you back $60 something. look up ipod touch 4g lcd screen in google and look for sites like amazon or something. unless you wanna have apple charge you like 100 bucks for it or probably more
