My screen shot, how do I file a service claim?

The right side of my screen shot how do I file a customer service claim? Can I do so online, I called CS and they are having exceptionally long wait times.

Would someone please contact me in order to file a claim so that I will know whether or not to bring my computer back to the store or ship it back to the company.

It depends on how you took the screen shot.
If you used the Command-Control-Shift-3 shortcut, the screen shot is on your Clipboard and can be pasted into the message.
If you used the Command-Shift-3 shortcut, the screen shot is a picture file on your Desktop and can be dragged into the message.

Screen shots - how to copy to e-mails and in forum communication?

I now know how to make a screen shot, but how can I copy the screen shot into an e-mail and in the reply to a question in forums?

Depends on your email client and depends on the forums.
In some email clients you could simply drag the picture into the body of the email. In some you have to add it as an enclosure. Some support both methods (Apple mail does).
Forums differ in the way they handle pictures. In these apple forums you use the little camera in the reply tool bar and it will prompt for the item to be added to the reply. In other kinds of forums you may need to upload the picture to a media hosting site (e.g., ImageShack, Photobucket). They in turn provide you with a url of the upload to incorporate in the forum reply in a specific format.

This past year I had learned how (but can't remember now) how to take a screen shot, and wonder if anybody out there knows what keys i need to press to enable me to take a screen shot of a webpage that i need?

I do not have Grab.app. When I employ: Shift + Command + 3 to make a screen shot I hear a 'Camera Click'
but I can not find the image. What Am I doing wrong?

1st, there are more possibilities than just Shift+Command+3: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201361
2nd, the Grab app is in your Utilities folder.
And, as John has stated, the default location should be your Desktop. If you're using Dropbox, the default location may be your Dropbox folder. However, that can be changed in Dropbox's preferences.

As I can see it is a narrow box with two rows of two characters? Firefox displays that code when it cannot find the corresponding character in any available font. The most common reason to see this is that some sites are now replacing image icons with font characters that Firefox has to download. If you have set Firefox to:
* use only your preferred fonts instead of the page's preferred fonts
* not download fonts (either in about:config or using the NoScript extension)
then you would need to change that in order to see the icons.
First check your font settings here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Content
Click the Advanced button and make sure there is a check in the box for "Allow pages to choose their own fonts".
If you change that, try reloading the page. Does Firefox load the missing icons?
If that doesn't fix the issue then do the following:
You can check the '''gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled''' pref on the '''about:config''' page (you can go to it by typing about:config in your address bar) and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).
Sometimes it also happens because of the slow connection. Due to slow connection the text which takes less space are somehow downloaded but the image couldn't get downloaded within the connection time frame.

How to provide file attachment service (file upload)

i have to provide the attachment service to the application .
the application must successfully upload the local file and send it to the destination.
this application is like any other email service ex. yahoo , hotmail ... which provides attachment service apart from email.
From the html form which have fields for file and when user clicks on submit then the program must send or store the file in destination user' account.
we are using html , jsp , servlet , java , j2ee.
If anyone know please help me in this issue.

1> Change the form's encode attribute to multipart-formdata
2> For each file to upload, create an <input> tag with the type attribute set to "file"
3> Within your Servlet, you need to detect the content-type and content-encoding from the request. If you recognize it as multipart-formdata, you will be receiving arbitrary binary data and need to go to step 4
4> Buy an Oreilly book so you can get a copy of his multipart form reader classes. These will automatically parse the HTTP body into its constituent parts, of which zero to many parts may be file data (depending on your form)
If you don't want to buy the Oreilly book, there are some code snippits out on the web. Or you can read the HTTP RFC at www.w3c.org and implement it yourself. (Not all that tough).

How to take Screen shot in ABAP ?

Dear all ,
I have come across the situtaion as follows :
a) Will want to open the file from the desktop
b) Take the screen shot of that open file
c) Close the file
d) Then want to attach that screen shot in the PDF
e) In the similar way i will do for 4 files and then finally incorpate all these into one PDF and want to send mail .
Is this possible in ABAP .
I am stucked in this situation i open the file then the control is not there in my ABAP program after opening the file .
Secondly there is no FCODE available for the Print screen key so not able to take screen shot .
Could anyone suggest me how to proceed for this situation further .

Podcast-Using Screen Shot

I am making, trying to make, several short podcast tutorials using GB. They will all be how to set up/use diffent computer/web applications. I need to use screenshots with voice overs. The one that I made, using the "capture" utility (ultilities>capture) are fuzzy and not the right size in GB. What can do I solve this problem? Any help would be great!

Use these shortcuts to take pictures of the screen in Mac OS X.
Action - Take a picture of the whole screen:
Shortcut - ⌘-Shift-3
Take a picture of part of the screen:
⌘-Shift-4, then drag to select the area you want in the picture.
To cancel, press Escape.
Take a picture of a window, a menu, the menu bar, or the Dock:
Press ⌘-Shift-4, then press the Space bar. Move the pointer over the area you want so that it's highlighted, then click.
To drag to select the area instead, press the Space bar again. To cancel, press Escape.
Screen shots are saved as files on the desktop. If you want to put the screen shot in the Clipboard, rather than create a file, hold down the Control key when you press the other keys. You can then paste the picture into a document.
You can also take pictures of the screen using the Grab application (in the Utilities folder).

I've been using command-control-shift-4 but then I get the camera noise and I have no idea where the photo ends up.
