Photo stream pictures can be viewed only on the devices they were sent to. You can't transfer them back to your phone (or anywhere else). If you didn't back up or import the photos to a computer, and they are no longer on your phone, they're gone.

Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. *** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. I have just had a system update. Safari 5.1.7, a security update 2012-200 and Remote app update and now when I go into a site with flash it says I do not have adobe flash. I have installed it from the site but still no luck? any help would be much appreciated Cheers Dave

Any time Final Cut Express must perform more calculations than your computer can handle in real time, you need to render. Rendering is the process of creating temporary video and audio render files for segments of your sequence that Final Cut Express cannot play in real time. When you render a segment of your sequence, Final Cut Express substitutes a render file for the segment during playback. Render status bars above the ruler in the Timeline indicate which sections can play back in real time and which segments require rendering. To render just click on the sequence menu and select render selection then click both.

I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

You would need to have home sharing enabled on Apple TV and iTunes.

I can't burn a normal dvd from final cut pro.Help would be much appreciated!
Hi.I am having great difficulty burning my final cut pro project to dvd.It is shot in HD and I have compressed it but when I burn a dvd it will not play in a normal/standalone dvd player.Could someone please tell me how to burn my project to dvd.Can HD film be burned to a normal dvd?The final cut pro file is only 1.3 GB.Any help/advice is much appreciated.Thank you.

Matt has already told you twice; his first response (above) gave you step-by-step instruction.
I'll spell it out for you again but with slightly more detail:
1. In FCP, render the Sequence fully, then go to File->Export->QuickTime Movie. (do NOT use "Using QuickTime Conversion). In the export window, do NOT Recompress All Frames. You can chose to make the movie self-contained or not.
2. Use the resulting file in Compressor, where you will chose a DVD preset appropriate for your video's duration. If needed, you can duplicate then modify any preset to better suit your needs. Compressor will create two files; an MPEG-2 video file (.m2v) and a Dolby Digital audio file (.ac3).
3. Use the two files created by Compressor in DVD Studio Pro to author and burn a DVD. Do NOT author an HD DVD as these will not play in DVD players.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I used to be able to download files from the Harddrive of my Sony Handycam, but now it won't let me import them while going through "log and transfer." I have tried to update my settings, but this doesn't seem to work. Any help would be much appreciated
Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

I have deleted photos from iPhoto trash but apparently still have 82GB of photos which I cannot see or delete - any help would be much appreciated
check the overall trash on the 'dock'.when files are deleted from programmes, they always go to the general 'Trash' as general files and you will need to delete form there as well. if there is still a lot of missing files taking up space try reloading or deleting 'Iphoto' and uploading again.

I am still having trouble with my iMac since I last spoke with you guys about 2 weeks ago. Sorry to take so long to get back to you (things were a little wonky around here). Anyway, I did try running in Safe Mode, as Bob suggested but I continued to have the same problems. Strangely, the original message did not reappear, and has not popped up since the first time I wrote about it. However, the computer is still showing all the same problems. It is running slow, stalling in the middle of games, Youtube etc. I'm getting really sick of seeing that spinning color wheel every time I turn it on. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated & thank you all for all the tips and advice with my first posting.
JTFreeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion's Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located. -

not sure why it would keep trying to connect.
First I'd look in Finder on the "Go" menu up top as "Connect to Server" and see if Rick-Pc was listed in there and remove it from the list.
