My screen went into a jumbo screen view and I can't get it to return to normal

How do I get my iPhone out of JUMBO screen view and back to normal

    Jme218,
Let's get this annoyance fixed! Most phones have an Accessability feature that will allow zooming in on the screen. On your phone please go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom (OFF). Keep us posted if this does not work for you.

That's weird that these iphones are restored/activated through iTunes. I have a Apple so I have iTunes, yay!! I am guessing that the link that you gave me will tell how to put this iphone into Recovery mode? Now, this old iphone would of been activated on his laptop, which is with him and he is out of state. I have a new Apple, his new iphone would of been activated on our new Apple computer because he was here for Christmas and he didn't bring his laptop with him, or did he bring it with him, I don't remember now.... Now the question is, will I be able to restore his old iphone on my new computer seeing it would of activated on his laptop which is with him out of state. I am so worried that I am going to lock up this phone now. I thought I deleted the orginal guestion, and rewrote it, good grief, lol Oh wow, you are a level 10, I would be at a level -10!

    Hi jholzworth,
It sounds like you might have accidentally hit the zoom button. Try hitting ''CTRL + 0'' to return it to normal size. Just so you are aware, ''CTRL'' and ''+'' will zoom in and ''CTRL'' and ''-'' will zoom out.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • My screen disappeared and I can't get it back

I posted this problem last week, but I may not have explained it properly. While on Firefox, the page suddenly disappeared and all I can get is a picture of the page when I mouse over the icon in the taskbar. Clicking on the picture doesn't restore the page. If I click on the icon itself, the page appears to fly off my screen and flies back when I click again, but it doesn't restore to full screen. I can't access any links or buttons because I don't have a web page at all, and I can't reset Firefox for the same reason. Is there anything I can do to fix this without actually using a web page?
Thanks to the one person who replied last week, but I can't access the page to use the links. I need a solution that doesn't involve a web page.

    * Use Restore or Maximize in the right-click context menu of the Taskbar icon to set focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the Firefox window.
    * Open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize the window into view by using the keyboard cursor keys.
If this works then first close all other open Firefox windows and then close Firefox via "File > Exit/Quit" to save this setting.
If the above didn't help then see:

  • Safari save as window opens larger than screen size and I can't get to the

In safari, I choose File -> Save As. The save dialogue window is taller than my screen and the buttons get buried under my bottom toolbar. I can't reach the save buttons and I can't seem to reach the right hand corner to manual resize it. I've tried clicking the green button in the top left hand corner but it doesn't change a thing.
thanks to anyone that can clear this up.
    s

I tried clicking the blue export button so its pointing down and the save dialogue window does shrink. However, the adjustable dashes that normally appear in the bottom right hand corner, are not there. The only appear when the export button is pointing up. Too bad I can't reach it.
Your 2nd idea worked! My display was already at max resolution BUT I had a 2nd monitor and dragged the save box over and the smaller display was enough to reach that bottom corner.
    yeah!

  • IPad iOS 8.0.2  My whole screen magnifies itself: I can not get it back to a normal screen size. How can I?

Since updating my iPad 3 to 8.0.2, my screen is so magnified, it's unusable but I can't get back to normal-size to try to solve the rest of it's many problems like slow or not starting.  How can keep my screen at normal-size?
I have already rebooted it from 20% charge. It is fully charged now.  Screen returned once on its own but again magnified.  It is so large that as you type the opening pass-code, ( if you can find circled  numbers of the pass-code at all)  then  only one number within a circle is revealed at a time.which makes opening the iPad  very difficult as it continually makes mistakes on the code. This iPad 3 is 6 months old, traded in  with a broken screen as my warranty ran out. The updates caused other problems but if iIcan't start, I can do nothing at all.

Try double-tapping the screen with 3 fingers and see if that zooms it back out - and if it does set Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom 'off'. If it doesn't zoom you back out then try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut.

With three fingers tap the screen twice to get back to normal and then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off.

Leave it in the rice for at least a day and change the rice every other day or so. The rice and iPod should be in a sealed container.

I do something like that, and can confirm 20 feet won't be a problem. More than 30 or so might be.

  • 3.3mhz iMac, just had Maverick installed and as I tried to upload Pix, the finder went into a wheel of death and since that point, have lost the ability to even type on ANY applicat would not come out of it.. did utilities and have no idea what to do next

Have a iMac 3.3 mhz, tried to upload pix to an app and Finder went into the wheel of death and would not come out.. When it "Got Lost" I also lost the ability to even type on the machine in ANY APPLICATION. Have run utilities, made repairs and still no typing/text. On Thurs or Friday (10/24 or 10/25) Maverick was installed so this may be a problem that it created. As it happens I didn't ask for Maverick. How do I fix the "Finder" on the machine if i can't even type on it??

    Hi, beth.lau.gr.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand you have been experiencing issues with your iPhone restarting and showing you a blue screen.  I wont be able to give you an exact answer as to why this is happening.  However, this is the most relevant troubleshooting article for this issue.  This article also provides options to reach out to us via phone for additional assistance.

  • When I turn on my iPad the grey 'brightness slider' is in the centre of the screen and I can't get rid of it. I've tried switching on / off 'auto-brightness' in 'settings' but it won't go away. What am I doing wrong? Any advice gratefully received.

That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

  • Firefox is hidden to the side of the screen and I can't get it back

I have an HP Quad computer running Windows 7. My Firefox browser is hidden off screen and I can't get it back. I've searched problem solving links and nothing has helped. I've uninstalled Mozilla and then reinstalled it and it has the same problem. I've changed the Windows to CasCade Tiles view and it doesn't fix it. I haven't been able to use the browser on my main computer for a week. HELP! PS this is on a different computer than the one I am writing you on. I have been consistent with updates.

The address has now gone - all I needed was another restart. But it did take two attempts. Thanks for your interest. Have also found that the iMac is slower at the moment. Goodness only knows what else I will find when I restart other progs.
