My security answers are right but it says they're wrong!

I can't buy anything from the store because it says my security answers are wrong... but they arent! I wrote them down, I know they're correct. But it keeps telling me it's the wrong answer, and it won't let me buy anything on the store because it's the first purchase on this computer.

         have a Rescue Email to use this option.

    RJ in WI and RALPH - we've ALL tried and tested your possible solutions. If you cut and paste your answers here you're wasting everyone's time. At some point a year or two ago I dealt with the same issue: a buddy i know is online appears offline (somehow I was able to resolve).
    Clearly there is an issue with the retention of AIM/Address Book/Preference Panes, etc., but I am not technically savvy enough to resolve, and clearly your generic responses of "oh they must have blocked you" or "use UDP Port..." are NOT resolutions because I've seen the both of you reference those posts half a dozen times. There ARE people out there who need answers and you're not helping us. Guys, no offense, its just frustrating reading through these posts and seeing your solutions as the only ones and they're not working for us. Would anyone else care to take a stab at this problem??

    OK, don't know if this is the same issue, but here it goes...
    I can see all my buddies when they are online and they can see me; all but one. My in-laws can almost never see me as available, although I am and I have never seen them as available. After much re-starting on both computers, I come up for them; they never for me. They can always instigate a successful chat with me but they never become available. The message arrives that they are ready to chat. I can never instigate a call to them.
    I dumped all my plists. I dumped skype.
    This evening while struggling through another phone call where we both told each other to restart incessantly, I dragged my mom's pb over, launched her ichat and saw myself beautifully available. All the time my in-laws could not see me, nor I them.
    I assume this is not a psychological issue with my in-laws.

  • My input AS is right but Flash says it's wrong

    I've done a simple check input coding which should check for
    the inputed number of 0.09952. Problem is Flash says that the
    correctly inputed number is incorrect. Can anyone help???

    Everything seems to be in order. The only thing i have
    changed is that my correct number used to be 0.09954, but i changed
    it to 0.09952. Now only the number 0.09954 will work if var
    KHPanswer:Number = 0.09954;
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    ok so i've changed it to
    var KHPanswer = Number("0.09952");
    and that seems to work, so does that mean I need to be ultra
    careful with how I define numbers in text fields? Because that
    seemed awefully touchy (ie not accepting 0.09952 but accepting
    0.09954!!!)

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
    I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.

    Did you set up a Rescue email when you set up the Security Questions? If so, go into Manage AppleID, Password and Security, and click on the "reset info security email" at the bottom.
    If you did not, before calling Apple Support (which you will have to do if you can't get the answers to go), go back and make sure that the security questions being asked are the ones you think they are (I made that mistake once, giving the answer to my first car when the question was what was my first concert.....)
    Also, make sure you put in the entire answer - case isn't relevant, but all of the words are....
    If all else fails, you have no choice but to contact Apple Support!

    Another user had success doing the following:
    I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
    Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
    on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
    Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
    sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
    At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
    It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

    There are no dumb questions...answers, yes, but not questions.   Sometime I use acronyms and forget that I should explain things a bit more. 
    Resetting those two things sometimes helps and cannot hurt.

    You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

    Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
    my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
    any suggestions?
