My sent items are not in the sent folder
I went to Preferences and chose to have sent items in the folder but they are not there. Anyone have any suggestions?
Looking at the .mac mail folder, there are no black triangles, I have inbox, drafts and sent (and trash) icons.
I tested the .mac mail (I know I keep saying "this site" but I don't know what else to call it?), and using this one it does keep a copy of the sent items. BUT using the Mail (the stamp icon mail) copies of sent items are not saved.
I want to use the Mail one, because you can choose fonts and all that other stuff, which is why I even purchased the year membership! (otherwise I would just stay with Yahoo mail).
I really don't have a clue about this stuff and I appreciate you taking your time here.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

2LIS_02_ITM - Deleted items are not in the ODS 0PUR_O01

We activated 2LIS_02_ITM extractor. We noticed that the deleted order items are not available in the ODS 0PUR_O01. SAP Note 578471 (Deleted positions in BW and statistics) explains that deleted items are not "statistical" relevant. However, this is an issue for us. Does anybody know if it's possible to change the behaviour of the extractor to keep deleted order items in the ODS ?

François.Yes this is a known behavior in case of deltas.
For Deleted line items Rocancel field will have an entry with R.
To handle this you need to map ROCANCEL field in Technical group of transformation (Between Datasource to DSO) with 0Recordmode.
Once you will do that then after activating the data in DSO it will nullify the records and deleted order or item will not appear.

I have several songs I deleted on an unknown date that I want to redownload. As I stated in the title, the songs I am looking for are not in my "Purchases" list, and when I search for the album the song is in the song has a greyed-out "Purchased" button. I get the same result on my iPhone, which was bought long after I deleted these songs (I assume).
It is possible that you may have deleted the tunes.

After crash all the recovery files were gone. With a recovery software I could get old versions of recovery files (recovery.bak, recovery.js). I try to implement them in the new profile folder by exchanging the files, but FF34 just ioverwrites them. Unfortunalty I could not restore the old sessionstore.js file.
Any idea how I can restore the ols session with this 2 old files (recovery.bak, recovery.js)?Did you check in a text editor that the recovered files are not corrupted and only contain ASCII text?
You would have to copy such a recovery file to the main profile folder as sessionstore.js to replace the current copy.
If you do not use "Show my windows and tabs from last time" then you need to use "History > Restore Previous Session" and possibly "History > Recently Closed Tabs/Windows". -
Making hypertext work if things are NOT in the same folder?
I am writing a large doc with FM (FM 8.0p277), several appendix files, 100+pages, etc. I am using hypertext to link external PNG images with the document. This is working just fine (message openfile:filename.ext). Then, I print as PDF doc, and still keeping the PNGs and the newly created PDF in same folder- the hypertext link still works fine.
My question is: this document will be released to clients, whom we can't necessarily make keep all elements in the same folder. Is there a way, when I generate the PDF of the final version, for the hypertext link to work if things are moved out of the same folder? I'm guessing not, but I thought if anyone would know, it would be in this forum...

AdrianaIf everything is in the same folder when the PDFs are created, then the links should all be relative. As long as the distributed files are all kept together when distributed, then things should continue work. However, if they move some files to different folders, then all bets are off.
Why are you making external links to the graphics files instead of importing them by reference into the FM file - especially PNGs? This doesn't make any sense to me.
If you need to keep everything separate initially (for whatever reason), then consider creating a PDF portfolio in Acrobat, that can't be split up, as the final deliverable. -
Deleting applications that are not in the application folder
I recently downloaded an app called Liteswitch. I didn't want it so I ctrl clicked on its icon in the System Preferences and removed the Liteswitch prefpane. But the app is still installed and working - how do I get rid of it?
ThanksIt's not only the Liteswitch app. It's more in general. I can't figure out if the apps are deleted when you ctrl click on their icon in the system prefs and remove it. The app still works after you have done this so it seems that it doesn't delete it. However after logging out the app doesn't work after logging back in, so maybe OSX waits to delete the app till you log out?

I have my 3 bt email addresses linked to Thunderbird. This morning when checking emails I found that 1 of the accounts is missing everything apart from the last 2 days worth of emails. I've logged into BT and all the emails are there but not in Thunderbird, how can I get them back?
Delete your e-mail if you are dealing with Yahoo or Google or Apple, and then add the account back in again. This will reload those e-mails. If you have the same problem, then, you may have a problem in your Mail app, and you may have to reset you iPad to factory default in iTunes to reload a fresh and clean copy of the e-mail app. Always be sure you do your backups before fiddling around with your iPad, like this.

On Our shared laptop we had three music libraries. When I switch on the laptop this morning there were no libraries in itunes at all. It's as if ituned has installed itself from new and that we never had ipods? As far as I know no updates have been done. I restored the laptop back a couple of days and after restarting it still no libraries. How do I get them back please?

Sent faxes are not saved in "Faxes" folder
Does anyone know where the "sent" faxes are stored? They are not in the "Faxes" folder under "users". In fax prefs, the "Save" box is checked but dimmed. Does this save only received faxes? How can I save "sent" faxes so I can see cover sheet messages?

That's because you must have at least one of the three options checked. The Print & Fax preference panel won't let you uncheck all of them. As soon as you check another option, you'll be able to uncheck any of them -- but not all.

After choosing File > Print > Fax PDF... and filling in all the fields, click the Preview button located at the bottom left. In Preview choose File > Save As... and there you go...

I upgraded to iCloud Photo LIbrary (Beta) today but my 2000+ pictures have now become 85 pictures on the iCloud/iPhone & iPad. The pictures are not in the deleted folder. These "pictures" were NOT normal with prior IOS upgrades. I could not delete them. Where have all of these pictures gone?
Ok, so here's a solution to this issue:
Backed up my iPhone on iTunes
Did a factory reset on iPhone
Restored the thing from previous backup
Re-entered all my passwords and such
Now it's syncing again.
The whole procedure took me about two hours.
No idea why this happened. Beta, I guess. -
Ringtone apps - Downloaded, but not to the Music folder so I can't use them
I'm a little frustrated. I downloaded a ringtone app and as per instructions, I should be able to access the ringtones in the music folder. they downloaded, but they are not in the music folder so I can't use them and I need some new ringtones!! Please help!
I don't find an app called "ultimate ringtone"...must not be available to me. You might want to read the reviews to see if anyone has hints there. You also might want to contact the developer to find out what you need to do with their app.

All my sent items are not visible in outlook

On OSX 10.6.8 Mac Mail sent items do not show the Bcc field. Adjusting settings in mail/prefs/viewing/custom/bcc has no affect on Mail, ie Bcc still does not appear on sent items. Yet another example of Mac caring not a jot about the performance of versions of OS and software running on on older hardware. Anyone got a fix by any chance? Oh and fyi I need to see the Bcc in sent items to confirm sent email is attaching to Salesforece - when I see the Bcc I know I can delete it as a copy will be in SForce. Big thanks W.

When i login to my mac, it opens iTunes, Skype and AIM. I've tried deleting these from the login items, but they are not on the list. Can anyone help?

Yes, that is correct. The alternative is to quit all applications prior to logging out. Lion will then have a chance to remove the saved states.

This was true only for the Finder. Prior to Lion, no other apps would launch unless they were included in the Login Items for the account. And the OS would not restore windows for other apps.

G5 suffers color change with user switching
This is my biggest issue with my Mac. It has been going on since 10.4.1. Every time I switch to another user, then switch back, it seems as though the colors wash out. It happens about 3 seconds after I switch back. I have tried setting the colors th
