My Sent Messages Aren't Showing Up In My Sent Folder

Just started yesterday... Any ideas? Not sure if this is in any way related but I get a really long blue screen when I boot up the last few days as well.

if you have TM backups just start TM while in the sent mailbox in Mail and scroll back in time in The Mail window. those messages should be in the backups. select them and hit 'restore". they will be restored to a separate mailbox in "on my mac" section. you can move them from there where you want to.

All messages finally appeared in "Sent" in Mail.app. But it sure took some time.
Guess there is a severe lag time between .Mac and Mail.app?

My incoming messages aren't showing

I'm sorry I'm bothering you, but I have a problem.
Skype doesn't show my incoming messages. My laptop's time was wrong (2 days behind) and I fixed it. That's when my problems started.
I've followed every step on subjects with similar problems,a and it doesn't help.

The only what you can do now is either to clear whole chat history or using 3rd party applications try to correct the wrong time on messages received when your computer's time was wrong.

Messages aren't showing up on both iPhone and iPad Mini like they used to -

everyone in the Apple Store said that it's probably the software on the Mini. I already toggled on and off. also reset the Mini.
I don't have time to make an appointment with the genius bar, so I thought I'd check here. Thanks!

Two other things I would suggest are
1. Log on to the Apple ID website and make sure the email associated with your Apple ID is there and is consistent with the email addresses in the iMessage app on both the iPhone and iPad. If you update or change this information, be sure to log out of iMessage on both devices, and then log in again so the devices have the updated info.

2. Make sure you've added your email address to the list of "Receive At" addresses on the iPhone.

After transfer mail to new computer new message content not showing in view mode

I've been transferring data from OSX mavericks Macbook pro to imac using airdrop (migration assistant wasn't working).
Wanted to duplicate mail from macbook so followed instructions for transferring as below

Mail transfer worked great but my new messages aren't showing the content in the view area.
I can get the new message blurb in the list but nothing in full viewing.
The com.apple.mail.plist file actually was a plist.lockfile so not sure if that made a difference
Plus, I did transfer the com.apple.mail-shared.plist as well. The older versions are on my desktop.
The account names are different from one computer to the other but they show up as read-write on new computer files. I even added an administrator with read write priveleges on those files just incase. Nada.
Any thoughts?

Voice mails aren't showing in Lync client

We have Lync 2010 server in Exchange 2007 environment.
I have the voice message in outlook but it doesn't shows it in Lync client.
Changes made...
We powered off old two Exchange CAS servers and brought up two new CAS servers.
EWS is deployed and in Lync configuration, it shows the same "EWS deployed"
Conversation history folder, messages are getting saved.
free/busy info working as expected.
Voice messages aren't showing in Lync client and Lync status isn't getting changed, when outlook scheduled meeting. But Lync gets changing the status to In call, Conference Call, In Meeting when there is a Lync scheduled meeting.
lync srv record are there in DNS
any other record needs to be created for this issue? I mean to pull the EWS info from exchange?

Lync requires Exchange EWS for this functionality. As mentioned above check if EWS has a status of "OK", if it doesnt check that Exchange autodiscover is correctly configured for the new CAS servers. This is a useful tool - https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/.
Additionally is is always worth deleting Lync sign-in info to remove the cache and force Lync to detect servers again.

Sent messages aren't saved in IMAP server

Since I upgraded to Leopard the other week I'm having a problem with Mail, the messages I send are not stored on our IMAP server.
The error that shows up in system.log is:
Nov 1 14:57:02 iblack Mail[2113]: Error (null) occurred while trying to append messages to outgoing store. Ignoring and proceeding with delivery...
This is the least informative error I've ever seen
The IMAP server has no problem storing other users' sent items, it also works perfectly on the two other macs we have here which aren't running Leopard.
I tried googling the error but that yielded 0 results, anyone here able to shed some light on the problem/error?

Same problem here, connecting to a Groupwise (not latest) server. Whenever Mail.app 3 tries to upload/save a new messsage to the server, it would not save and completely lose the message!
I found slightly more information by turning off the "Save to server" option for Sent and Drafts, created a new message that I saved as draft, and then tried to manually move items to the Drafts or Sent folder on the IMAP server.
The error I received was: The message <message> could not be moved to the mailbox <mailbox>-<account>. The IMAP command "APPEND" (to <mailbox>) failed with server error: APPEND NotJunk.
To my inexperienced eyes, it looks like the latest version of Mail changed it's default IMAP handling commands that may be incompatible with older IMAP servers. Anyone else have more insight or know how I can get back Mail.app 2.x from Tiger?

Brigadier sent messages won't show

Any messages I send on the Kyocera brigadier aren't showing up. They are sending, but it isn't showing them on screen. When I look at my list of all text messages, the convo isn't showing up at all, sent or received. But the received ones do show when the conversation is open.

Are you using the stock messaging app that came with your device? When did this issue begin? Please provide some more details, and we can work to determine the cause of this issue.

Joelrsny had the much easier fix:
For Sent folder not showing on the iPhone.
ALL of these ways work to add a Gmail account to the iPhone. Its not how you add it, its the settings in Gmail causing these folders not to appear.
Do not add the account to the iPhone first. Go to Gmail.com in a browser, log in to your email account and hit settings at the top right.... Select the Labels Tab at the top. On the right, you will see check boxes. Check all the folders you want to appear in imap accounts. Once you check them, go and add the account by just picking add Gmail account on your iphone settings for mail. ALL the folders you checked will appear...
Done!

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

Got a weird one...
I am sending replies from a thread in Mail and they seem to have been sent (sounds) but they don't show in the Sent mailbox... O-0 These messages seem to have been delivered to cyberspace as they don't show in my Sent mailbox on my IMAP server... This has been happening for the last month... I have checked and verified all of my IMAP settings and Mailbox behavior settings... This is really weird and maybe a bug.... I checked all of my other clients that have access to the server on the same account and these messages do not show there either.... Any ideas?

The messages are getting to the recipient...
I am on a Comcast IMAP server if this has anything to do with it and the server settings are following the correct server port numbers, SSL settings, etc... I save Sent messages on the IMAP server for 90 days.... None of these "disappearing" messages were on the server for more than a couple of days.. Typically, these messages will get 'hung' in the Outgoing Mailbox for @30 seconds before sending... like they are being scanned for viruses or Mail can't connect to the server all of a sudden...
I anybody else here is on a Comcast IMAP server, and having this problem of disappearing Sent messages... This would tell us that it might be a Mail Provider issue with their outgoing server...
