My serial number doesn't work. please help me

i have the CS5 CD package which i purchased since 3 years but trying to reinstall it after my computer formating my i-mac reject the CD. so i download the CS5 design standard from adobe.com using my Serial number written on the CD box and it doesn't work. please somebody can help me?

Both are Windows PC, that's correct!
Maybe the error is because I'm having a student version?
Could that be the problem?
Yes, I'm giving the same serial number.
When I do it on my laptop the error that disappear is:
The serial number is not valid for this product

If you are not part of the prerelease program, you would have got a preview build which accepts 4.0 serial numbers. Please let us know where you downloaded the build from. Also please let us know the build number. Build number can be found in the bottom right of the dialog that opens up using Help > Flash Builder Notices and credits menu item after you launch FB.
Can you try with the version available under http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashbuilder_burrito/

There was no new serial needed to update from Logic 9 to 9.1.7
If your Logic 9 was an upgrade from Logic 8 it may be asking you for your original Logic 8 Full serial first and then your Logic 9 Upgrade serial...
Otherwise, it's best to call Apple directly and get them to help you...

Theres almost a trick to it for first time users, goto SETTINGS...General......Cellular (if Verizon) ....Personal Hotspot, turn it on.....turn on wifi on your Mac, select your Iphone. Enter password.
If you take too long doing it, youll need turn turn off and on real quick the "personal hotspot" slider on the Phone.......then go quick again thur the Mac.

If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

Did you just purchase Premiere Elements 12 - online download or installation disc?
Was the program ever installed by you a while back and are you trying to reinstall it now?
Are you sure that you are working with the serial number and not a redemption code?

First I've downloaded Illustrator trial and finally I bought the mastersuite. But now Illustrator is saying that my serial number doesn't even exist (that serial number works on other programs in the suite). What am I supposed to do ?

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and reinstall everything. Also refer to this:

Your Illu is still tied to your un out trial and you need to delete the locked license file so it will correctly run with the suite serial.

At the end of a 30-day LR trial period, LR should give you a choice to enter a serial number or purchase. What happens if you enter your serial number?
Where did you purchase the original LR4 serial number from, Adobe, a physical store location, or the internet site not Adobe?
