No you can't. Each serial number is unique to a version. You also shouldn't post it on a public forum. Barbara or another moderator will I'm sure remove it from your post.
If you need to redownload PSE9 you can do so from http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-9-premiere-elements-9-direct-download-links.h tml. Follow their very important instructions EXACTLY or you will likely encounter authorisation errors or download the latest version instead.

You could try a reset followed if required by a restore initially with backup and then again if required as new
If that makes no difference it will be a hardware issue and you will have to return it to Australia -
Hello I bought a macbook pro on August this year and got a bonus to upgrade the OS from Lion to Mountain Lion for free. I started the donwload but it was interrupted due to internet failure so the upgrade process was aborted. When I tried to initiated the process again, I got a message that says I can not used the same serial number to download Maountain Lion. What can do in order to upgrade the OS using the "bonus" I received with the purchase?
I have the same problem, only Purchases in the App Store shows nothing. The download NEVER showed up in the App Store only in the Launchpad with a progress icon. The Icon said paused but when clicked, it just disappeared with no download.
How am I supposed to get my free upgrade now? -

I have a Windows copy of Photoshop Elements 11, but the serial number has been lost. I didn't buy the product and I am unable to find the box. As far as I know, it's never been used so has not been registered. Does anyone know how the serial number can be recovered under these circumstances?
If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

start the installation of design premium cs5.5 just to make sure you're using the correct serial number. once your serial number is accepted you'll see a screen giving you the option to install none, some or all of the cs5.5 programs. at that point you can quit and not install anything having verified your cs5.5 serial number if you want nothing cs5.5 on your computer.
on the other hand, if your cs5.5 serial number is not accepted, you'll pinpoint the problem.
or, if your cs5.5 number is accepted, you could install a cs5.5 program and then install cs6. it should recognize you have a cs5.5 program installed and NOT prompt you for you cs5.5 serial number allowing you to continue with your cs6 installation. -

Uhhh so a beta version of Yosemite? Some of those other processes have not been working even with the latest version of Yosemite.
The serial number should still be on the bottom. Even if the bottom is changed the Apple standard operating procedure is to write the serial number on the inside of the new bottom case.

Bought a Macbook Pro from a student. Checked the serial number to make sure it wasn't stolen or anything.
Now I have hardware problems, but my serial number can't be found via https://selfsolve.apple.com/wcResults.do, which means the Service Center can't do anything.
The serial can be found via http://support.apple.com/specs.
Why can't my serial number be found?Not weird if it's NOT an Apple Product as Apple has pointed out.
So you bought it from a Student not from an Apple store or Reseller. Did you see the Receipt for it? Do you know where whoever you bought it from got it?
Maybe it fell off the back of a trunk and Apple has written those serial # out of it's database which = No service or support.
