My Serial number says invalid.  Trying to transfer Adobe Creative Suite.

I delicensed my Adobe Creative Suite on my old computer and am now trying to get it on my new computer.  It keeps saying invalid serial number.  I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the programs on the new computer, but nothing has worked.

13mwarren1989 what operating system are you using?  What version of Creative Suite specifically are you trying to install?  Did you migrate or transfer any files to your new computer?

    This order no is for subscription of Adobe Captivate 8. In order to install subscription you need not to enter any serial key .During the installation it will prompt you to enter your Adobe Id and it will validate your subscription after validating your Adobe Id from the server. I mean you have to sign in with your Adobe Id during the installation which you have used at the time of purchasing the subscription.
    So for installation and activation you dont need any serial key . Just sign in and it will automatically activate your subscription .

    I'm very annoyed about the fact that I payed for Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 (EDU version) and now I'm not able to use it on my new Mac. The Support team (Chat) from Adobe told me several times that the product/serial or whatever was canceled but this doesn't help me to get the product working and I won't pay again for this software. So what's the reason for cancellation? I can't see reasons for this and I don't understand why Support team can't help me. Already found Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite but this doesn't helped me.

    Maybe this is also useful... They told me I canceld this by myself which is not the truth. I had a Windows machine and used Creative Cloud as well but I only canceld the Cloud, not my Serial Number for Production Premium...
    So who is able to reactivate my Serial Number so that I'm able to use my product?

    You need to install the software on the new machine the same way you installed it on the old machine.  You are allowed to have two activated installations if you would like to retain the original installation as a backup.  If not, then you should deactivate it (Help -> Deactivate in any program),

    I Purchased pse13 and installed it on my pc.  However I decided to purchase a Mac book pro and want to install pse13 on it as I will be selling my pc.  It keeps telling me the serial number is invalid.  Also how do I make a backup copy of the software since I downloaded and don't have a disk.  Thank you.

    You have a serial number. It's registered to your account. The rest is of no consequence. Contact support if you need to reset activations.

    I'm trying to log all of my Adobe Creative Suite Software's in an Excel Sheet so i can know which computer the software's are installed on. I own and registered 8 versions of Creative Suite for our office, but i'm trying to now find out which computer each one is installed on for our database logs. When i try to compare our software's serial numbers (Ex. Photoshop, Illustrator) to our Creative Suite serial number nothing matches. How can i find the correct serial numbers to know which computer has which Creative Suite installed without the CD-Roms?

    You can't. You will have to deactivate and reactivate by inputting the serial numbers from scratch.

  • Legacy SE 6 Runtime Message When Trying to Open Adobe Creative Suite

    Hello -
    Our office is using Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 (will be upgrading soon).  However, when trying to open any Adobe apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. on ONE of our Macs, we receive a message that says "Legacy SE 6 Runtime Needs to be Installed."  On our other Mac (which is new), we do not have this issue. We literally cannot open any Adobe product on this one Mac - we just receive the same popup message about Legacy SE 6 Runtime.
    Both Macs are running Yosemite 10.10.2
    Both Macs are using Adobe Creative Suite 5.5
    I have tried researching this and have not been able to come up with solution.  Any guidance or resources is appreciated!!!

    You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, so there should be no reason to deactivate it on your other machine, or at least you can wait until you see it loaded and working on the new one.
