My server is unreachable until I use internet from it

Hello, I have LAMP server on Archlinux.
I installed many power management tools, because I want to have my server power efficient and its almost all the time in idle.
I cant connect to my webpage or SSH until I use internet from the server. When I do for example ping www.google.com, then I can connect to my server.
Can somebody help me to fix it?
And I have another issue.
I dont know, how to add user in vsftpd. I am able only to log in anonymously, which is useless and dangerous.

So, look at the situation from the point of view of the router.
One of its ports has no carrier, so it knows there is nothing attached there.
Without warning, a carrier comes up on that port, but, unbeknownst to the router, the device attached set its own address (that would be your server). The router has no way to know the server's address.
Later, a packet comes for the server, and the router does a NAT to a local address, but it does not see anything attached that has that address, so it drops the packet.
Then, the server comes along and tries to access the internet. Your server sends a packet that has its address. The router takes note of that and adds that IP to its routing tables so that it knows to find your server on the port from which the packet arrived.
Finally, another packet arrives from the Internet, this time, the router knows how to find your server.

It's normal for the iPad or any similar device to get warm when it's under heavy load. If it gets too warm, it will shut itself off and show a disabled message.

If you believe it's hotter than normal, make a reservation with a Genius.

Using internet from my mac to power other things....

so i have a wireless router downstairs and i dont want to buy a $100 connector for my xbox right next to my macbook... so i want to know if there is some way where i can take ethernet from my xbox and plug it into my macbook and receive internet( since the macbook is wireless) also my friend does this but with a different computer with windows.

Not able to use Internet from Any App Except Chrome

I updated to Yosemite from AppStore recently. After the installation, I can open all websites from Google Chrome. However, none of my other Apps can connect to the Internet. For instance, Dropbox, Box, App Store and Safari Itself cannot connect to internet. Only Google Chrome works fine (from which I am posting this). Any help is really appreciated

I now have internet connection back. I typed the following in terminal:
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.discoveryd.plist
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.discoveryd.plist

IVE modified the acl of remote subnet of asa1 to be (any) 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
but wt i need in asa2 so that the traffic of lan1 comming to any thing not lan2 to be natted with asa2 pulbick p and no internet ?

Firmware update using Internet from PC

I have installed OVI suit. Phone is also connected and detected by suit. Everything working fine. But when i want to update Phone Software i have to Sing in to nokia account. Here problem start. I have working Internet connection on My PC. it is working fine. The OVI suit check for the software update through PC internet. but when i click on update, then it askes for sign in and then it shows error that internet connection is now available.
i thing, do i need to have internten on my mobile?
Please help.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have broadband connection, working well. Still the problem is there. What is the problem. when i click on check for updates, the suit check for updates and tell that update is available for my phone. and then show the error of internet connection. pls help.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

SharePoint 2013 - document libraries and newsfeeds are visible when viewed using Internet Explorer running on the server but not from any other machine

On a single Windows 2012 R2 server I have installed SQL 2012 and SharePoint 2013 SP1 with the latest update roll ups. When I remote desktop to the server using the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using
Internet Explorer, I'm able to see newsfeeds and document libraries.
If I connected to a separate Windows 7 machine as the farm and site collection admin account and open page http://server_name_here using Internet Explorer, I'm able to view the SharePoint pages except I cannot see any newsfeeds or document libraries.
There's just blank space where they should be. I have repeated this process on several other machines that are not the server and get the same result on every machine (I've tried other servers, desktops, adding the SharePoint site to the trusted sites list
in IE, even using firefox). I'm using the same account as I did when I logged onto the server directly. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

It is currently set to the default of http://server_name and http://server_name:port_number (the latter is for Central Admin).
When I have access to the server, I have always done so the same way, using http://server_name. This was true when I access it from the desktop of the server itself and when I tried to access it from other desktops and servers (the machines where I had the
issues with the libraries and feeds not showing up). Are there other values I should add?
I have not tried to add http://server_FQDN as we don't plan on using that to access it but if you think it will help I would be happy to add it.

Client Server using Internet [ask]

I have a client server project who connect between LAN connection and now I want to upgrade it into internet connection. I have search several programs who has similar architecture but none is suitable. Could anybody help me out how to build basic client server which connect using internet connection?

Hi,
with your program, you seem to have the full control over your house ;-). Why it shouldn't work over internet as it is? You have TCP open, TCP close...in Internet, you simply have to use other IP-adresses as the local ones. So can you specify your question? Or is it a problem with your LAN-infrastructure, that you have to configure your router to have access from outside?
I don't see why it shouldn't work over Inet...

Whenever I go on a new web page or any thing that uses Internet, it says cannot verify server identity.

Firefox internet speed slow in verizon fios until I use another browser. When I return to firefox speed very much inproved = to other browsers

Each time I run verizon's fios speed test in fire fox the results are very slow until I use another browser,IE, chrome, then back to firefox and rerun speed test. The speed increases = to other browsers. I have another computer on the same network but with win 7 instead of win 8.1 and do not have this problem. This has occurred over several months ,versions and updates of fire fox. I have tried many fixes to no avail. I like fire fox and want to stay with it.

I've been having the same problem since iCloud appeared and complicated an otherwise trouble-free system. Doubling frustrating is that iCloud duplicates my .Mac account so I get two of everything in my Inbox. I turned off iCloud and now mail at least goes out but I can't delete the duplicate account.

Slow access to local WebServer using Internet Sharing

I have a MacPro with a WLAN. Sometimes I use internet sharing to access the internet with my iPhone. When using the "Browse the Web" feature of Goodreader to access some files on my MacPro it took very long until I get a directory listing on the iPad (only a dew files and folder). The other Way aroung (using the Goodreader intergrate WebServer an access this from my desktop is quite fast.
The desktop has an IP Number 192.168.1.2 the iPad someting with 10.xx.xx.xx. Putting the into the same ip number schema (using a wieeless router) works fine in both directions.
Any idea why the server is so slow?

I don't know if any of you came up with an answer to this problem, because I have the exact same problem.
I use version 5.0.01.0600 of the VPN Client. Windows Explorer hangs for a couple of seconds and then works fine for a couple of seconds and then hangs for a couple of seconds, etc. When logged on in Windows XP with a user with administrator rights this problem doesn't occur. Only when logged on with a Restricted user (Users Group) does this problem occur.

There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.
There is also a User Agent Switcher button, you can add it using View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and dragging the button to your toolbar.

You can just start trying IE versions (or the versions it says on the site) until it lets you in.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
