My session has timed out and i need the session always active
Hi all.
I need a session whit never becomes timout but when I set de MaxInactiveInterval with
a negative value (session.setMaxInactiveInterval(-1) ) the session becomes timeout in
about 30 minutes or less, anybody can tell me why or the possible cuases of this
I am working in IBM WebSphere Aplication Server.
Thanks, for your time
Outis.
P.D. sorry for my english
Note that the timeout is maintained on the server and is not the same as the cookie expiration date which is sent to the client. set the Session Timeout in IBM Websphere to 0.

I am trying to manage my media from the computer but it keeps saying my session has timed out and I've tried it so many times. How can I successfully manage my media?
Hi Valeria07,
We want managing your media to be easy! It saddens me to hear that this is not occuring. Do you receive a specific error message when the browser times out? Have you tried using a different browser?
Thanks,

When I try to purchase songs in the ITune Store a message pops up and says my session is timed out and to make sure my network settings are correct.
I have been doing stuff with my account and my wife and kids accounts all day trying to setup home sharing. I got that all setup but the whole account access and so on and iTunes store has been horrendous today. I constantly have been timing out trying to update emails on accounts and change passwords as well as buy stuff off the store.
So your not the only ones for sure something is going on -
when i click download it starts to download the file. But then when it hits 99% i get another box that says that it was unable to download Firefox 3.6 and the session has timed out. What is going on?

I accidently deleted the email for the problem "in app" purchase. I cannot figure out how to get into the app billing unless I use one of the email links and the email I do have (for a different purchase) wont let me go to the billing page to report a charge for an undelivered item. I just get a message Sorry! your session has timed out, you must log in again. But from there I cannot get into a billing page anywhere.
I, too, love everything about my phone. The other day I tried to crash my Z10 by running multiple apps and having videos running in the background. Do you think my Z10 showed any signs of slowing down? Nothing doing! It ran as smooth as silk. I'm very impressed.
Cheers.

when i try to redeem my itunes cards, i get a message that says my session has timed out--i installed the latest version of itunes and tried again--no luck--what else can i do?
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

I have been trying to download ios5 using my windows compute Windows 7. I connected Ipad and opened Itunes etc. Three times I have sat there for up to an hour downloding the program and it gets to the end (100%) sometimes it even processses the file and then I get a message saying the connection has timed out and to try again. I am on a wireless connection and it is so frustrating. I have the latest version of itunes. Any suggestions?
Try temporarily disabling your firewall and anti-virus software then try the download again.

Everything same on computer, OS, and internet connection. have been able to redeem other cards. this time am getting "SESSION HAS TIMED OUT" while trying to redeem card. have contacted apple and checked out all their suggestion iE:( must be your connection. typed in code wrong, too old version of itunes, etc) anything but why would a gift card code bee tied to a specific vetrsion of ITUNES. Rediculous!! there has to be others out there that have an older version if itune than i have. has anyone ever had the error "SESSION HAS TIMED OUT" and if so was it corrected?? any information other than apples {change password and give us lots of personal info they probably have) would be appreciated..
Hello,
As far as I can see, that Verizon Jet Pack wireless Modem uses WPA2 to connect.
The Router might complicate things right now.

Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed. -
But once I sign in. I go to manage or any other selection and it tels me session has timed out and it kicks me back to the app store front.
You might want to double-check that you are trying to open the document with the latest version of Numbers that is in your main Applications folder, not the old version that is in a subfolder named iWork '09 or Numbers '09. Instead of just clicking the document, you could open the latest version of Numbers and then File > Open. Or you could "right-click> Open With ... and choose Numbers.app (3.5.2).

Dear Experts,
I am running 64 bit Redhat 5.5.
I've installed the Oracle DB, weblogic and OBIEE.

I login to the server at:
http://black.testrac.com:7003/
and navigate to:
Farm_bifoundation_domain
And I keep getting logged out, and the message:
Weblogic/OBIEE:
Because of inactivity, your session has timed out and is no longer active. Click OK to reload the page.
What's aggravating, is that I can login, and immediately get the message!
It is just me on this machine/environment.
How can I configure the server so that:
a: this does not happen at all, or
b: the timeout happens only after 2 or 3 hours
Thanks a lot!look for "emoms.properties" file
For my env :
/home/oracle/product/11g/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user/em/hsz5x1/META-INF/emoms.properties
oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime=< value >
the VALUE is in MINUTES
Restart Admin & SOA server.

I am attempting to access KiwiBank online banking using Firefox (my preferred browser). It allows me to enter my account access number and password but when I click through to the next window which is a secure password window, Firefox flashes at the top pf the page asking me to allow the cookies, I click allow however the KiwiBank window then goes to another window stating my session has timed out - after 3 attempts the bank locks me out 9which is a tad frustrating :o0
== URL of affected sites ==
http://www.kiwibank.co.nz# Yes, if you go to accounts.firefox.org, sign out, you will now be signed out.
# Sign back in, and you will be asked to save the password you entered.
# This will save the password and autocomplete if you have this option turned on.
I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? But after storing the correct password you can manage any duplicate passwords in the password manager.[[Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox]] -

Whenever I want to download a free app, it asks me for 3 security questions. I answer them. Then it says "session has timed out". Then the whole process starts over. How can I get around this?
Hey everyone in Apple world!
I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!
(Note that I arrived at this solution when I first saw this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570?viewlocale=en_US)
Let me know if this works for you!

I need help with my apps. I try to download apps and I am told to login again. After login then I am to verify my payment info again. Once I do that it tells me my session has timed out.
Could the credit card be expired?
Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.
In the lower right corner of this page is a 'contact us' link. Click on that and you'll see a page full of info and links, one of which is iTunes support.
