My setting have changed: location in navigation toolbar does not work; there is no firefox safe mode in folder

Something has changed in my settings. If I have the navigation toolbar, my page extends all the way across the screen and I can not see the right hand part. There is nothing in location and I can not enter anything in it. I just get a message that page does no exist when I try. I can not start firefox in the safe mode as it does not exist in my folder. and there is no folder containing my localstore.rdf.

I'm using IE8 to view the help as this is our target but I've also tested with Firefox 3.6.8. The behaviour remains the same in all cases.
In addition I have tested the same System Administrator help module:
while resident on my C:\
while resident on a shared networked drive (inside and outside of my network domain); and
while hosted on a SharePoint server.
I spotted this problem while testing our upgrade from RH7 to RH9 but I've since tested earlier versions of the deliverables and found that the problem was there when we were using RH7; we simply missed it .

    Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
    There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.<br />
    The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
    If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.
    *Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially for secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

    Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.
    This is a known issue with Yahoo email account.

    This is what I posted on May 15th and it worked like a charm:
    Just got off the phone with Apple Support. I have been working on this same issue for 2 weeks now. I was told to go to www.apple.com/support/itunes. Then under "Get Customer Service" choose ITunes Store Account and Billing. Then choose "Managing your account" option. You will see an option where you can email, choose this. This brings up a form that you need to fill out and submit. Just tell them that you have reviewed your account (assuming you have) and you see no fraudulent activities. Then ask them to enable your account. You should have your account enabled within 24 hours.......at least that is what I was told. I just filled out the form and submitted it.

    What this effectively does is to reset some of your Settings to factory default. It’s not a complete removal of settings. It removes all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy. It doesn’t affect your data. All of your email accounts will remain intact, as well as any SMS text or iMessages.

    My location service on Google does not work. It will not bring up my location. Also nothing is getting saved in my history folder in my bookmark.

    I have the same issue, I think. If I open Safari and search Walmart (google is my default search) it doesn't give me location results, and there is a little button at the top that says 'Use Precise Location.' If I tap that button nothing happens. Very frustrating. I've checked all my settings against my wife's iPhone, and my iPad, both of which work, and I can't find anything different.

  • Print icon on toolbar does not work

    Recently bought new computer running W7
    Use acrobat to print postage labels on royal mail site
    Have latest version of acrobat and when screen comes up showing label to be printed the 'floating' toobar appears but clicking on print icon has no effect
    I am forced to used 'CTRL P' and then 'enter'
    Occasionaly CTRL P gives me another toolbar at the top of the window which also has a print icon, this does nothing either
    Can anyone suggest what is going wrong, should I go back to an earlier acrobat that worked fine on my old XP PC ?

    Yes you are correct using a PDF in browser to print post labels.
    Running Windows 7, Internet explorer 9, Acrobat Reader Version 10.0
    CTRL P brings up dialog box OK and I can print from there.
    Cannot comment if problem happens outside of browser as it is home
    computer and do not have need to view PDF's offline but will find thsi
    out if important.

    Drag them out of the Trash and put them in their original location. Put Back may work on one file at a time.

    4.1EA. Open Body button in toolbar does not work. In object tree click on some Package. Next - in toolbar click on OpenBody button. Body is not opened.

    Ow, that's a bad one, good catch.
    As a workaround the 'gutter blue arrow' hyperlinks DO work.
    Once I DO manage to get the body open, the button works for me without fail, even after an application restart. And I'm able to open other package bodies. So I can reproduce this bug once, but only once.
    Do you see the same?

    If you own any version of Aperture 3, you are entitled to a free update. Only it can be tricky, if your version is not associated with your AppleID, because you bought it with a serial number.
    Have you checked, if you can see an update at the App Store Updates page? Or an "Accept" button on the Purchases tab of the app Store?
    Contact the AppStore Support and request a redeem code, to be able to buy the update for free. You will need to provide a proof op purchase of Aperture.
