My sister can no longer read my text messages
Recently switched to Note 4 from Note 3. My sister has a Samsung Galaxy. We have always texted. All of a sudden she gets a notification that I sent her a text but nothing is ever there. I get and make all my other texts with no issues. I have VERIZON and she has ATandT. Any suggestions? She is getting textsfrom everyone else.

We want you to be able to communicate with your sister via text again. Let's investigate into this further. When you first switched to the Note 4 has you sister always had issues receiving your text or was she able to receive and view them when you first activated the Note 4? Does she have issues with others messages? Ann154 asked a great question. What text application are you both using to send/receive text?

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings; will not erase any data, just resets network connections such as wifi, and cellular data; Hope this helps.

iPhone users can no longer send me text messages now that i've moved to a non-iOS phone. Can iMessage service or Message users be refreshed to see me as a normal text message recipient?
I still have an iPhone, but haven't turned it on for weeks. And there's no SIM in it, so no cell service, just WiFi. When I turn it on after a prolonged period of having it off (weeks), a bunch of messages popup that should have been forwarded to my new phone (same phone number and carrier as when I was an iPhone user) but appear to sit in iMessage queue indefinitely instead.
I'm guessing it has to do with the link that's made when an iPhone first realizes that it's talking to another iPhone and defaults, for all future texts, to iMessage. You know, the green to blue switch. How does that association get undone?
Has anyone else seen this, and if so, is there a fix?your number can remain on the imessage server for some time

They can all share your iMessages, just make sure the settings on each device are set to send and receive from the same numbers and addresses. -
I just recently upgraded my iphone 5 software to ios7 and discovered that i can't hide my text messages as i could previously in ios6.2., can anyone help me out with this?
I had this problem last night as well. Only my daughter upgraded to iOS7 and she had an old phone of mine. When she upgraded, the phone asked for my apple ID and then continued as normal. However, after the upgrade, any text message that I recieved, she also recieved. I am pretty sure my wife thought I was hammered when she started texting me and my daughter began answering her not having any clue what she was texting about. Anyway, this only occurred with texts from other family members, not from texts I received from friends who are obviously not on our account (we have Verizon BTW). To resolve this issue, and it isn't a short resolution.... there are two options... One, simply erase everyting on the phone.... I don't like iTunes 11, so we were unable to back up her phone. I made her go through her 600 photos, delete the ones she didn't want and email the ones she wanted to herself, and then we wiped the phone clean and rebooted it... go into Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. The second option, if you have iTunes 11 is to back up the phones one at a time, and then go into Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. Either of these options wipes the phone clean of all information, text contacts pictures etc and then you have to re-enter all of your individual information. When you do that, make sure that no one is on the same iTunes account. Theoretically, after you do this, you plug back into your computer and SYNC your phone from the last back-up. This resolved the problem for us. I don't know if there is an easier solution, be we tried logging in and out of our iTunes Accounts, turning the power on and off, and nothing changed. So, we had to go the more difficult route to avoid mass confusion with family texting.

No. They can see the date, time and number of who sent or received each text but not the actual text.

I can get to the email websites for Yahoo and Verizon. But when I click on an email to read it, I get the error message "There appears to be a problem loading the email". This only started today when I updated to Firefox version 24.0. I'm still running Firefox version 22.0 on my work computer and I do not have any problems reading my email on my Yahoo and Verizon email websites from that computer.
Thank you! I cleared the cache and only deleted the cookies from the yahoo and verizon sites. This fixed my issue and I can read my email again now. Thank you so much Waka_Flocka_Flame and cor-el!

Can no longer scroll past text
I can no longer scroll past text messages. The pictures are all still available in the details button but it sill not scroll back. Did a carrier update recently but that is the only thing that I can think might have mixed things up. there was one other poster with the same issue. Anyone else have this problem?

How would I be able to pull up all of the text messages tat were in my phone over the course of 2 years and back them up to my computer since my phone has a broken screen and can no longer read the mesages.
If the messages are stored on the device and you can power the device up you can use the application posted at https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/770529 , the application has a screen capture option and you can use the screen as a guide to install MyBackup from Market or a number of backup apps from Market and then you can run the applications and backup data to your SD Card to restore to the replacement device.

When adding Custom Text to a slideshow in Aperture, I can no longer centre the text in the text box. Is there something I am missing? I am running Aperture 3.6 on Yosemite. Any ideas gratefully received, thanks.
Which theme are you using?
When I am adding text in a slideshow, I found, that it will depend on the theme, if the text will be centered or flushed left. The Classic and Ken Burns theme are centering the text, the newer themes will present it flushed left.
I found no way to select a custom justification for the text. -

Enabling preview for text messages will allow SIRI to read the text messages during a locked screen, as long as Siri is turned on for lock screen use.

Can no longer read "Comments" on New York Times website
I updated Flash Player on Monday to the latest version, but today (Tuesday) find I can no longer read the "comments" attached to various articles on the NYT website. Neither of our other home machines (an early iPad and a win7 laptop) have this problem, nor were they updated. I contacted NYT, and they said they can't duplicate the problem, nor are others reporting the problem.
My system is Windows 8 64bit, (not 8.1 and not touch-enabled). Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks.The thing is... The NYT comments DON'T require or use Flash Player. They use Java, which is a separate plugin and has nothing to do with Flash.
How do I know? I disabled Flash and went to their pages:
There are the comments with NO Flash Player activated.
Try updating Java.
And BTW, you can't update Flash Player on an iPad, because there never was a Flash Player for iOS.
