My sister has a computer authorized with my account

my sister has a computer authorized with my account and some of the purchases i made were downloaded to her computer accidentally, how do i get those purchases on my computer?

Ask her to send the purchases to you; except for rented movies, you can find the location of an item by right-clicking it and choosing Get Info. The files can be sent as if they were any other type of file, but need to be dragged into the open iTunes window afterwards.

  • Can a device be authorized with multiple accounts ?

    Hi There,
Can anyone answer this question  ?
My Sony PRS-300 reader is authorized with adobe account X
A PC is authorized with adobe account Y
Now I want to get an Adobe protected eBook on PC (account Y) on my device (account X)
Adobe digital Editions notifies me that the reader authorized with account X, should be authorized with account Y.
Can I authorize my reader like this and still read all other eBooks which allready were on the reader (and activated with account X) ?
    Thanks in advance,
    A new e-Reader.

Hi, I have a simular issue.
I have two AdobeID's one for my work and one for myself. I'm using my AdobeID for work related documentations and my private for ebook to be read on an ebook reader. Is it possible to authorize my ADE with two AdobeID's or do I need to buy two PC's to be able to use two accounts?

  • HT1420 My current Macbook Pro has always been authorized with my apple ID now it is not and I cannot delete this computer nor add it to my account?

I have recently purchased a new iPhone 5S and was looking to make a custom ringtone.  I have always had this computer authorized already and I can play all my purchased content in iTunes currently.  However, when I sync it is requesting I authorize this computer.  I do that and it says I cannot because I have computers authorized already.  I followed apple's instructions to deauthorize this computer however, it is saying this computer is not authorized.  Someone please help?!?!?!

I would restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod on your computer and start over. It appears the iPod is associated with another account.  Any media that came with the iPod does not belong to you and di not transfer with the iPod hardware.

  • Odd: Sidebar has my "computer Name with a (3) after it.

    Hi,
Could someone tell me why in the finder window sidebar that it shows my computer name with a (3) after it?
    "Computername"(3)
It has been running a little wacky in the last few months.iMac20" iMac 2.1
    Thanks for your input.

I think this occurs when your network connection fails or changes, and then on re-establishing, the old name lingers on the Mac without being flushed, held in a cache perhaps and so it mistakenly thinks it is another of the same name.
That yours has a three after it, tends to support this view that the same name has been reconnected for a third time. I don't understand much more than that.
As JollyGiant says, just edit it back to how it should be.

  • How can you see what computers are authorized with my account?

Good afternoon. I installed iTunes on my desktop computer at home because I began creating a music library. My first original install was on my laptop and then I decided to add iTunes to my desktop. When I authorized iTunes on my desktop it said it was the third computer that is authorized to play content purchased with this Apple ID.
How do I find out where else I have authorized iTunes? Is there a way in which a person can find out? Does my iTouch count as one?
If I rest the computers authorization will it delete my music library if I did that? I know you can only do it once a year. I am afraid someone else will use my account.
    Thank You

In order to see which devices are authorized on your account:
    Open iTunes
    Click Store
    Click Account
    Click View Account
    Enter your password
Look in the second section iTunes in the Cloud
To the far right you'll see Manage Devices
Once it's clicked you will see all of the devices currently authorized in iTunes/on your account
I was going to say, "Hope this helps," but based on the above, I'm pretty sure it did!
    Thanks guys...

  • HI I have multiply people on one computer but with three account users. How can we share each others music?

I am having a tough time trying to share my music with other family members. When putting music on their devices it shares all my apps and everything and just want to share music they want from my purchases.

Adding media directly to the media folder does not make it appear in the library.  iTunes doesn't really 'look' at that folder except to go to specific files when you call upon them from a library. You have to drag new content to each user's library, that is assuming each user has their own library.

  • Why do we have to spend $39 for a phone call if Adobe has made an error with your account ?

Have new computer with win8, cannot transfer with seral numbers, in my account there is no history of purchases of elements9  and premier elements 9. I refuse to spend money for a phone call for the error on my statement that leaves out the purchase order number not allowing me to download with a missing link.

Perhaps you will be kind enough to state your problem here so that volunteers can help you out.  We can't help you with lost serial numbers or activations on multiple machines; otherwise most problems can be addressed and if there is no solution we'll say so.

  • TA22652 how can i find out the 5 computers that I have authorized with my account?

i know that i have 5 computers authorized, but how can I find out what computers i am authorized on?

There is not a way.  Often, the five are not really separate computers, which can occur when you do certain PC upgrades without first deauthorizing, and then need to use up another authorization.
If you have hit the limit of 5, you can use the Deauthorize All command, up to once a year.

  • How can i tell what computers are authorized with my itunes account?

My iTunes app tells me that I have 5 computers currently authorized with my account. How can I tell which ones they are???  I've checked all of my old desktops and laptops to deauthorize them but they indicate that they were never authorized.  Confusing. Why go to the trouble managing how many are authorized if you don't provide a means to list them???  I realize that I can deauthorize them all (the only choice!) but, in doing so and reauthorizing the ones I need, does this mean that I lose the ability to access previously purchased music on them??  I must say that, for the ease of use of the Apple apps, I expected more.  Thanks:-) !

You cannot. You can see the number of authorised machines.
Go to itunes Store, Select Account from Quick Links on the right.
If you already have 5 authorised but can't remember which the machines are you have the option of once every 90 days to deauthorize all comuters and then individually reauthorising the ones you want.
On each machine in iTunes Click Store > Authorise this computer

  • Can't Login to SharePoint as an invited External User / Can't Remove All Traces of External User with Microsoft Account

    Hi TechNet,
I have an MS SharePoint Online (SharePoint Plan 2) team site, quite simple, one document library etc.
I have successfully added all users (E3) within the organisation to groups, and permissioned correctly.
I have added myself (separate organisation, also Office 365 E3) as an External User, and have access to the website without any problems by authenticating with my Organization account e-mail address.
I have a single user (separate organisation, also Office 365 E3), who's setup is identical to mine (Also Office 365 E3).
However, when this user is added as an External User, they are unable to login, and get "Sign In is not complete":
    That didn't work
We're sorry, but [email protected] can't be found in the CLIENT1.sharepoint.com directory. Please try again later, while we try to automatically fix this for you.

    URL: https://CLIENT1.sharepoint.com/
    User: [email protected]
    Issue Type: Partner User Invalid.
I then remove the user using the Site Collection, and using the PRofile Manager, and using Remove-SPOUser, and using Remove-SPOExternalUser. Which is great, he's gone. However when I go to add him back to a group, as soon as I type his e-mail address, it
'Resolves' into his full name! If I have completely(?) removed him form the site, how is he being resolved? And therefore me trying to remove him to re-add him to try and solve the user/directory/auth issue is not working.
Furthermore, upon clicking on said client's username inside SharePoint (after I've 'added him back' of course), his ID, in format: i:0#.f|membership|live.com#[email protected] has an entirely different e-mail address, his Microsoft Account!
I'm assuming he must have been already signed into his Microsoft Account when he clicked on the External User e-mail invite? If so, I clearly do not want this, how can I remove lal traces of his Microsoft Account, given that I have gone to the lengths as
    detailed above?
I have already completed these steps: http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/148/p/228263/709905.aspx

Please let me know if you need any more information regarding this issue, and thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this situation for me and anyone whom encounters it in the future.
    Regards,
    Evanly.

    Hi Scott,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond to my issue.
Certainly, it makes sense that regardless of where the invitation it sent, the user would authenticate with their Microsoft ID.
In my case, I want the user to authenticate using their Microsoft Organisation ID, that they use for their seperate Office 365 account.
This is the way I was able to log in, and worked great. With my client, they are unable to access Sharepoint because once they sign in with their Microsoft Organisation / Office 365 ID, they are told they are not in the directory, because their Microsoft
ID is in the directory and it doesn't match up.
I am simultaneously trying to 1) Remove all traces of this users Microsoft ID, which so far using the above steps, has been unsuccessful; and 2) Invite the user using his Microsoft Organisation ID, and have him authenticate with that (which is proved to
work, as my account uses this).
Looking forward to any more suggestions. Thanks in advance!

my sister has a mac and i want to update my phone onto the computer but i dont want her to see all my stuff can you somehow have more than one itunes account on the same macbook so my stuff with save?

How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. The only way is for you to have a separate user account to log into on that computer.

  • My computer was totally destroyed & I do not have backup or external hard drive with my iTunes library. Will I be able to access my iTunes library when I purchase a new computer? It was the only computer authorized to play library.

My computer was totally destroyed & I do not have backup or external hard drive with my saved iTunes library from it. That was the only computer authorized to play library. I do not have an iPod or iPhone with any of that library (which has over $2K in music purchases & over 5K in songs I ripped). Will I be able to access my iTunes library when I purchase a new computer?

You should be able to access your past iTunes purchases. You'll need to re-rip your CDs See: HT2519 - Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.
See also this backup tip so you don't get caught out again.

  • I cannot access any of my old purchases. Movies, mainly. It has nothing to do with authorized accounts, I've checked for available downloads a thousands times over. They simply do not exist any longer.

Well, this has been going on for a long time and I've had my absolute fill of it tonight.
I have purchased a large collection of movies from iTunes that for mainly the reason that I have a new computer, my old films no longer exist as downloaded iTunes videos. That being said, I know I should be able to download purchased films as long as they're still on the iTunes store. I cannot download any of them. Tonight I decided to buy a collection that should have allowed me to download all three films (which I had previously owned, but got sick of trying to find a solution to why I cannot redownload them). So tonight, I purchase this collection of three films, downloads the frst one. Theres absolutely no sign of the second or third film and when I select Check for available purchases it says all available purchases have been downloaded.
If this was true, 25+ movies would be available to download, least to say the two missing from tonights purchase (which I have purchased in the past as well).
My account is authorized, everything is alright with my account and I have tried multiple suggestions and am completely lost. Apple support is giving me the run-around.
    What do I do?

Nevermind. I finally found a third party answer and will post it for anyone else with my problem.
    >Go to the iTunes store.
    >Halfway down the page, right hand side, says account
    >Under account it says purchaced, select that
