  • Skype credit/subscription

    Hi
I wrongly bought skype credit and then subscribed the plan but my account doesn't show the subscription minutes and the money is being deducted from skype credit.I am first time user  and don't understand how to view my minutes left.

    Hey,
You have purchased your subscription on the 6th of November, so the minutes are reset on the 6th of each month (at around 16:00 GMT time).
If you purchase a subscrition with the exact same amount of minutes, then this simply extends your subscription for another month, the minutes will still reset on the date you purchased the first subscription on.
If you want to have more minutes available per month, then you need to purchase a subscription with a different amount of minutes, 60 or 120, or purchase an unlimited subscription instead.

  • Need Skype Credit when I have a Subscription?

I just decided to try the world subscription for a month, as it's a free trial. When I logged in to Skype on my Windows 7 pc, I was only able to connect to the landline I was calling for a minute or two and then it cut me off, saying that I need to purchase Skype credit to continue. I had already gotten the confirmation that my subscription was active, and it works just fine on my tablet. I'm not sure what to do. Help please?

as far as i understand u...u can use ur subscription from ur tablet but not from ur pc
if i am correct, my question is...do u use the same internet provider on both devices?
if not, please check if the provider doesnt block voip calls

  • Use of subscription when skype credit already ther...

    Hi, a quick one.
I already had a skype credit of around $25 when I subcribed for a monthly subscription plan for calls on mobile phone from skype installed on PC. I want to know whether my skype credit will be exhausted for the calls or the minutes from subscription?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Package will be used first. When you run out of minutes then cost will be covered by Skype Credit.
Please also keep in mind that payment for subscription is taken 3 days before subscription ends.
It means that if you run out of minutes after new order was delivered (basically within these 3 days), then your call will be also paid from Skype Credit.
    I hope it is clear

  • Subscription payment for Skype Credit

    Hi,
I wanted to pay for subscription from Skype Credit but I couldn't. I have enough money for it. All the time it shows me the form with bank card info after that I stoped.
    Help me, please.
    Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community.
SkypePro was the forerunner of Subscriptions and was discontinued except for existing subscribers of which you were one so you were receiving the service.
Effectively SkypePro provided free calls to a number of countries but was restrictive compared to the present range of more flexible Subscriptions.

  • Subscription, automatic recharge, Skype Credit, mo...

I have found some answers on these questions, but they were separate. I have a question which includes them all. I have subscribed with 2 accounts to call landlines in Brazil (60minutes per month). Because I have paid for full year, I got 15 minutes bonus per month. I was hoping that after I have used my minutes, I would get some kind of notification. When I logged into my account I have noticed that I have spent 83 min but not to worry because I will get some Skype credit (under fair usage... etc). I was little bit confused with automatic recharge option and Skype credit option.
    My questions are:
    1. How can I set up my subscription to have ONLY minutes I have subscribed to (60+15) so that I don't have to worry about additional charges on my credit card?
    2. Is my monthly cycle from the date I paid or it starts 1st of every month?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
Subscriptions and auto-recharge are different things. Auto-recharge tops up your Skype Credit balance, subscriptions are prepaid packages that renew monthly, quarterly or annually.

    Hello
Not all users can pay using Skype Credit. If the option isn't presented in the purchase flow it's not available to you.

  • Can't pay for my subscription from Skype credit?

    Hi everyone,
I bought a subscription last month and paid with my debit card. I want to renew it now, but I do not want to use the card. I would like to pay from my skype credit. I tried to do this, but the system does not give me this option as a method of payment. Why is this so?
    Thank you in advance!

  • Simultaneous subscription and Skype credit

I use Skype extensively for business calls within the U.S. and also internationally during frequent trips abroad. I don't use international calling consistently enough to justify an international subscription but an unlimited subscription for U.S. calls would make sense. Can I have an unlimited U.S. subscription that automatically revert to using Skype credit when I try to call home from overseas?

    Dear Skype employees,
I joined the Skype Community because that was the only way to contact you. on August 26th I subscribe for Russia 120 min And on September 26th I renewed the subscription For $5.49. After that I cancelled my Russia 120 min subscriptAfter I did not make any called after I renewed it. On my account says that I can continue to make calls until it expires on October 29th, 2013. However, when I am trying to make a call the system does not allow it to me, says that I don't have enough Skype Credit to call thi number.
I expect Skype either return money I paid for a subscription or restore Russia 120 min for mother month that I paiD and didn't use.

  • Subscription for Skype Credit not showing

    Hello,
I subscribed to skype credit before and then after one of the patches awhile back it shows me that I have no subscription but when I go to skype options it says I have auto recharge enabled. However, it doesn't recharge automatically when it falls under the credit threshold it set up; I have to do it manually. I've tried disabling then re-enabling auto recharge but it still shows "No subscription" on my skype window. Also, my CC is up to date and works when I manually recharge it
    Any advice on this?

  • Additional $5 Skype Credit when Buying a Subscript...

You may notice that recently, when you order a subscription, say Unlimited US and Canada, there is an automatic add-up of Skype Credit worth $5.
    Why is this so?
Actually, I do not really know [aside from the thought that it could be a strategy to get more funds from users to compensate the abused/ misused freebies and discounted products of Skype]. However, if you will try to make a legitimate justification, it could be that Skype's intention is this:
If ever you want to call someone that is not in the country covered by your subscription, you can do so by using the credit. You may also send any mobile an SMS, connect to Skype WiFi, forward your calls to your phone, and buy other Skype products. To read more about what you can do with Skype Credit, better check out this link.
Before, users have the option to uncheck this additional credit, which was then a ONE TIME add-up. So, when the payment recurs, only the subscription's fee renews. But this time, I am not sure yet if it's also one time. I will surely edit this note once I get to be sure.
For now, it's up to you guys if you'll treat the add-up as a blessing or a curse. For me, there is always an alternative! Just like the free Unlimited World for one month. ^_^
    What d'ya think?
    Solved!

Here's the update we've been waiting for! Disclaimer: This is not official since this is just my experiment on Feb 11, 2014.
To start off, what you'll see are initiated purchases using my two accounts. One is my Linked MS account and another is a legacy.
Let's start with my Linked MS Account. Press "Ctrl" and "+" to zoom in. To zoom in some more, press "+" more than once.
As you can see, I have an option to uncheck the additional Skype Credit when I used my Linked MSA. Let's take a look at what happened when I use my legacy account.
Yes, yes. What bug are they saying? I knew it wasn't a bug. It's another capital M and S. And that is Marketing Strategy. Looks like Microsoft gives you another "advantage" if you "decide" to use an MSA for Skype.
BTW, I use my legacy account a lot. The Live one was created for checking things out.
    Any thoughts?

  • Use skype credit for subscription

    Hi evertone,
I was wonderen if I could use my Skype credit to pay for a subscription.
I've got enough money in my account to pay for the one I would like to use plus I can remember, that I could use my credit whilst having an automatic (renewing every month) subscription.
    Thanks for your help

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community.
Skype Credit isn't available to purchase Subscriptions to everyone, The best way to check if you can use this funding option is to proceed through this purchase flow of your chosen Subscription. If the option is presented it means that you can use and vice-versa.

  • Subscription asking for skype credit for local num...

I've had occasional issues with skype telling me I need skype credit for a number I don't need credit for and then sometimes it works and sometimes not (this is my parent's phone number I call all the time, so it's not an issue of location). I just upgraded to new version of skype so maybe the new mac software has a glitch I need to figure out? Please tell me how to call out with subscription so it will stop asking for skype credit. I get automatically billed monthly, I barely make any calls, there's no reason it shouldn't be working, I've had this subscription for years. Thank you!
