my skype email is not available to me, i forgot my password and my old phone number is accociated with my skype email. How do i change my skype email to the new email i created without changing my other skype info???
By not real do you mean not a valid email address of an email address you no longer have access too? You should try an validate your account with the CS team from here:

My email notifications from Skype are received in Spanish, apparently because I live in a Spanish-speaking country (Panama). Since I do not speak nor read Spanish, it would be greatly appreciated if these notifications could instead come in English. I got someone else's "Welcome to Skype" email.
I just received an email, apparently from Skype, welcoming "markbhona11" to the Skype family. I have no idea who that is or why he used my email when signing up. Could have been a typo on his part. I am concerned that I am going to start getting billed by Skype or some other scam. Please advise.
It is possible that someone created an account and registered your email address accidentally or intentionally. You can contact customer support and request to unlink that unknown account to your email address.

Skype email address changed and fraud transaction ...
Hi,
I am a member of skype with the profile name 'anoopsaha'. Yesterday, someone changed my registered email address on skype from <my_email_id>@gmail.com to <my_email_id>@gmail.com.tw. Furthermore, they also charged US $30 on my credit card. In addition, they have created a new account with my email address and the name of 'anoopsha', making sure that I cannot reach my original account.
Skype was my primary tool for business communication and I have lost all my contacts. Is there any solution to this problem?

Changing my skype email address
When i try to add another email on skype, it won't save it? I can't try to change my email either. Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this problem?

I cannot log into skype - email issues
I lost my password for Skype, then I tried to reset it by sending an email to my registered email address. Upon trying to log onto my Skype registered email, I found out that my email was deactivated.
Is there a way I can try to change my password for Skype or to change my old registered email to my new email?I am having the same problem. I not only cannot login to my skype account on new iphone 6, but app did not respond to a request to change password. I am not using 3rd party keyboard and I re-installed the app. Even though I could still login on my pc I changed my password, can login successfully on PC, but still cannot login on my iphone....

I live in Hong Kong because my job brought me here. I don't speak Chinese. I don't read Chinese. I don't even understand Chinese. When I log on to your desktop client, everything appears in English. When I log on to skype.com, everything appears in English. So please tell me why do you have to send me offers, news, surveys, and everything else in Chinese. I don't even know if you are sending the stuff to me in traditional or simplified Chinese and I don't want to copy and paste your email into GOOGLE Translate to understand what you are promoting. I went through account settings various times but I can't find any setting to change default language for all email communications.
I represent not only myself but a lot of friends I have made here in Hong Kong who literally go through the same pain. I have intentionally subscribed to Skype news and communications. But I am about receiving 1 or 2 more emails in an alient language away before I permanently block all Skype communications. And permanently blocking would be a lose-lose scenario for both of us because I really like Skype.
Anyways, the main point from this message is how do I change the language of all your email communications?to request to change the language you are receiving to the one you prefer, you need to contact customer service.

Hello, I will be switching ISP in the near future and wan't to change my primary email. Is this possible? The old email thats now the primary email on my account will deactivate in a month after switching ISP. If it's possible, please explain me how to do it. If not, then I might aswell just make a whole new account. I really prefer not doing that. It's weird that you can't delete an account but it's even more weird if you can't change your primary mail. And no, I won't be adding other email adresses to this account if thats the only way.

Believe it or not, I've had this problem myself - only, it was in Chinese. The newsletters, including the Microsoft policy documents changes and whatnot, came in Chinese (and I don't even read the language, if you didn't already get the hint.) I figured that this might have happened because I signed up for my account in Hong Kong or something. Either way, that's been long past and I'm sure you don't care how it happened - I understand, you just want the e-mails in plain English. No Japanese, no Asian writing system - Just English. I have yet to get another newsletter, but my recent purchase of Skype Credit triggered an English confirmation e-mail sent to me, so... really, I hope this works for you as well. What I Did:Contacted Skype Customer Support and chose these options:
Live chat with Customer Support and informed them that my e-mails were being received in Chinese instead of English. I was instructed to change my primary e-mail (temporarily) to a different one and to leave it that way for at least 24 hours to allow the system to push the settings properly. So I changed it to my work e-mail. No big deal.24 hours later, I changed it back to the previous primary e-mail I had. A month and a half later (a week ago,) I made a purchase. The e-mail I received was in English. I am still waiting for another newsletter to confirm that every e-mail Skype sends me will be in English in the future.If you follow that, this might be the end of that problem. Of course, you're concerned about purchase confirmation e-mails and I am more concerned about the newsletters. Please let us know if this solution worked out for you. I'm curious if that fixes yours as well or if this was a bit of a wild goose chase (since my purchase confirmation e-mail was already in English anyway.) -
Catch 22 - Skype email address no longer current a...
I can log into Skype using my microsoft account.
I want to change my primary email address so I can get email notifications.
My primary email address is no longer valid and I have forgotten the password associated with that email address.
When I try to change my primary email address it asks for the password associated with that email address. I do not know that password so it fails
If I try to change the password I get a message asking for my email address (the invalid address) and I get a message that they cannot send a message to that address.
I had a two page chat with a rep who told me they cannot change my primary email address and I have to log in with the password associated with that email address.

Nope, just a winner of a scam. There is no national contest or lottery. Beyond how unbelievable it is, there will be major grammar and spelling issues throughout the correspondence you received that gives it away.
