My skype is offline when i minimize it's screen .?

If you have Restricted your MAIN account in the perental controls that may be the reason. You may have to create a new Administrators account to change the settings on the parent controls.
Not sure as I have never used that feature on any computer I own.

NAS showing offline when connected

Hi,
I have a mac running (Yosemite 10.10.1) that is set up with a NAS (WD Cloud) drive which is where all my photos are stored. I set this up with organiszer and was able to import and set up albums, this all worked ok until a few days ago when Elements is saying that the NAS drive is offline when its not.
Has anyone else had this problem?

It takes you offline, but doesn't log you out (afaict). A few seconds after you open the lid, you're back online.

HP AIO Remote shows wireless printer offline when it is online and can print to it.

HP AIO Remote installed on my Windows 8.1 Yoga 2 shows my wireless printer is offline, when it is online and I can print to it wirelessly. How can I get it to recognize my wireless printer is online wirelessly? AIO Remote will only recognize the printer is online when the USB in connected to the Yoga 2.

Thank you for the additional information. I apologize for misunderstanding. I just want to confirm that the HP AiO app that you downloaded onto your Windows 8.1 computer is showing your printer as offline when you are able to print wirelessly to the printer.
I have two different documents for you. The first one is How to Use the HP AiO Remote App for Windows 8. It has a FAQ section at the bottom of the document with trouble shooting steps. I have also included the Supported Printers for the HP Scan and Capture App.
If the above documents don’t assist you, would you please let me know which make/model/product number of HP printer that you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

Can't see list of minimized windows when I minimize windows into application

I love the Mac option to minimize windows into application icon, but recently it's behaving abnormally for me. When I minimize, for example, three Word documents into the application icon, I don't see the list of those documents when I click on the icon (they usually stack vertically in the menu, above "Options"). To see those documents, I have to click the application icon and select "show all windows".
I can't figure out what's going on, and it's driving me nuts.

You need to look in your user Library/Preferences for the .plist. Hold down the option key while using the Finder “Go To Folder” command. Enter ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist. Move the .plist to the trash..
In Applications/Utilities/Terminal type
killall Dock
Restart and test. You may have to update your dock to the way you want it.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.

You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.4. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.

Printer offline when it is on and connected to wifi

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8100 that says it is offline when connected to the wifi. Everything was fine until recently. Now when you try to print it says the printer is offline when there is power and connection. Any help would be great!

Printer goes offline when it waits a while

It's not the printer it's the computer... Need to turn off the USB power off option.

Printer 'offline' when actually not on wireless connection laptop

I have an Officejet Pro L7590, connected via a wired connection to my Linksys router.
My laptop runs Windows 7 32-bit Home Premium and is wireless connected to my router.
When I double-click the printer in 'Devices and Printers'. It shows 'printer offline'
When I print a document it goes to the queue, but doesn't printer.
I have already tried the following:
. re-install the printer
. install the printer as local printer, with as port the IP address of the printer
. install the printer as networkprinter
. run the Diagnostic tools provided by HP
But still the same problem.
When I connect my laptop via a wired connection to my router (without changing anything to me printer settings) the printer is 'online' and works fine.
How can I make the printer work when my laptop has a wireless connection?

How to restrict the selection of other nodes when we minimize previous node

I have requirement where i am displaying the data in tree view as result list.
Here in the tree view i have i base under that iobject and under that contract
when i expand ibase node and select some iobjects and when i minimize the ibase now automatically next level ibase nodes are selected based on number of iobject selected in previous ibase node what i have selected.
Any inputs plz help me.

Hi,
The selection is based on table row index. When you minimize a node in a tree, the selection will change as another node will come under that index number. You should redefine the select and prepare_output to
1. Make note of selected nodes and store them in a table type attribute using either the "BO" if it's unique or the "node-key" as the key field. Also, remove deselected nodes from this table.
2. During each round-trip, you shoud validate available rows against the previously said table and if they are available, show them as marked.

Skype is a very resource intensive activity...it has been reported on here users are seeing cpu temperatures on the order of 80-85 °C, within the limits of the cpu, but still hot to the touch.
Make sure nothing else is running so you keep the thermal load down.

How do you scroll up albums in iTunes 11? There isn't a scroll bar on the right side. I know it appears when you minimize the screen, but it is hidden on my machine. Running Dell XPS 15z i7 w/ Win 7.

In iTunes 11, there is no scroll bar in full page Albums view. It does appear when you minimize the screen, but on my computer, the scroll is hidden and the resizing of the screen does not work. Is there a fix? Also, how do you sort tracks/songs in Album view? When I import lengthy audiobooks, the inability to sort through hundreds of tracks is really ticking me off. Again, is there a fix?
Apple... Before you tell me all the great features in iTunes 11, let me just say they are duly noted. But, I would rather have the option to do things on my own, rather than being forced to conform to your techies need to be creative. I don't use Genius or Playlists, so the ability to sort in them is useless to me.

It's been many, many years since I don't do dual boot anymore. Don't find the reason to do it, either. Different kinds of virtualization should be enough. Anyway...

Vertical scroll bar disappears when I minimize the screen

I have Firefox 10.0.2. I do have a vertical scroll bar with both the up and down button; however, they all disappear when I minimize the screen. When I am in Ancestry, for example, when I minimize I get a horizontal scroll bar but there is no vertical scroll bar. I have no clue what to do. I minimize screens a lot when I am in Ancestry and it gets very frustrating. Can anyone help?

You get various behaviors based on a combination of settings in Preferences > Interface; namely Open Documents as Tabs and Enable Floating Document Window Docking; but it doesn't seem to make much sense as far as I can tell.
